The Beginning Began
The Forgotten Love"I got to return. I got to go. Yes. Now..." I mumbled to myself as I tried to pack my luggage.
"Yoona."
"No, I have to go now. Yes, I'll go now." I ignored the voice as I continued to mumble incoherently to myself and dumped my clothes into the luggage carelessly. I wasn't able to think straight anymore.
"Yoona, Yoona. Yoona! CALM DOWN." A firm arm held my wrist tightly, causing me to stop whatever I was doing. "What happened?" He spun me around and put both his hands on my shoulders.
It was only then was I able to calm down and tears began to course down my face...
Me and Seohyun hit off pretty well. The moment we reached my office, we did some formal introductions and started on serious business. I taught her the basic practices of the company and also my job scope, so that she would know what she would have to do. She's a fast and keen leaner and I was thankful to Daesung for employing such capable trainees. We ended a little later than expected but she was willing to oblige. I bade farewell to her and welcomed her on board once again by giving her a hug.
I sent her off and when I saw Daesung talking on the phone with a solemn expression. I inferred that it was some troublesome client and decided to leave him alone. I went back to my office and that was when I received a call. It was an overseas call.
/Hello?/
/Are you Miss Im Yoona?/
/Yes. You are?/
/This is calling from Seoul Hospital. We're calling on behalf of your mum, Lee Hyori-sshi./
My heart cringed the moment I heard who was the caller.
/Yoona-sshi?/
/Ne-Neh. W-What happened to my mum?/
/Your mum had been admitted into the hospital recently and her condition isn't in a positive light now. She had been wanting to see you, so we decided to give you a call./
/Yubbosaeyo? Yubbosaeyo? Yubbosaeyo! Yoona-sshi!/
My mind was blank and my hand trembled, causing the phone to drop on to the table as shouts continued to be heard from the other end of the phone.
"Pabo..." He cleaned my tears away and gave me a smile. "Even if you pack your luggage now, you still can't go to Korea now. It's not that simple. You still need to check for the availability of flights."
