Stupid
NeffyShortiesTaeyeon threw the keys on the table as she tossed her small body to the couch.
“Hey, you’re home already?”
Tiffany walked out from the bathroom after her night routine. She took a seat next to her girlfriend, placing a quick peck on her cheek.
“I told you I don’t want to go to that stupid reunion.” Taeyeon sulked. Her face said it all, she was unhappy, annoyed – furious even.
“Something happened?”
“Do I look like a psycho to you?”
“What?” Tiffany asked bewildered.
“Do you think I’d cut you into pieces and throw your body in the mud if we break up?”
“Taeyeon, what the heck are you talking about?!”
“Just answer me, please.”
“First of all, we just got engaged last week and I’m going to kill you if you break this engagement off.” Taeyeon eyed Tiffany with a weird look. When Taeyeon didn’t seem to get the joke, Tiffany sighed. “I was just kidding. Why are you so serious?”
“I’m super serious.” Taeyeon replied flatly.
“Okay, my bad.” Tiffany rose up her hands in surrender gesture.
“Your answer, Tiffany.”
“If we ever break up – which we won't – I think you’re going to stay in your room with boxes of ice cream, crying your pain away for days, weeks...” She paused, searching something – anything she could fathom from Taeyeon’s peculiar expression. “Look, I really don’t like discussing this.”
“I’m not a psycho, Fany-ah, I really am not.” Taeyeon spoke lowly. She was so sad that Tiffany couldn’t help the urge to hold her close, so she did. “I never want to hurt anybody.”
“I know, baby, I know.” Tiffany caressed Taeyeon’s hair gently.
“Then why did they say gay people are psycho?”
“They said that?” She felt Taeyeon nodded under her chin. “They don’t understand, Taeyeon-ah. Don’t take it to your heart. They-”
