“You’re going to be fine.”
 
“You don’t know that.” Taeyeon puffed nervously. She couldn’t stop jumping on her feet. Tiffany told her to quit it but she just had to. She had to distract herself. Otherwise she might run and fly back to Seoul.
 
“They’re going to love you, babe.”
 
“You don’t know that.” Taeyeon repeated, more stern this time. She glanced to her sides, back and forth, willing the time to come faster – preferably forward to the next five days.
 
“Taeyeon-ah…”
 
“I told you I don’t want to go.” Taeyeon mumbled under her breath. This Saturday was Tiffany’s father birthday, Tiffany and her sibling planned to throw a private family party for him. They thought since they didn’t live at the same city, it’d be nice if they could gather on this special day.
 
Okay, big deal, she was just Tiffany’s girlfriend. She wasn’t a family member or anything.
 
“What did you say?” Tiffany folded her arms on her chest as her head slightly tilted to the side. She bit her lower lip – not in y way, unfortunately. She was clearly annoyed. “I thought you’re serious about us.”
 
“I am.” Taeyeon said defensively. “But I just-”
 
“Not serious enough to meet my daddy.”
