Patience
NeffyShortiesThe wind blew exceptionally slow on this certain winter night. It was still as freezing as ever, but the weather couldn’t beat the coldness inside her soul. It had lost its fire. The warmth once she felt was gone at the moment the one she loved the most moved on without her.
She probably should move on already. However, every time she tried, this place always brought her to the same spot, destroying her heart all over again. She didn’t have any tears left. Numbness was all she had.
She was happy. Having this person within her reach was enough to sail through the cruel world. She had peace – and most important; a will to go on.
She was whole.

She was so lost in her thought that she didn’t hear someone was approaching.
“I knew I’d find you here.”
“Not now, Taeyeon.”
The newcomer calmly sat across her. “I thought you said you’d get over her, Tiffany. What are you doing here?”
She looked away without answering.
