“It’d make the whole situation different, Tiffany,” Yuri looked deeply into her best friend’s eyes. “I know it takes time to heal but you’ve got to try.”

“Everything is falling apart, Yuri-ah. This is the only thing that keeps her and me together. Bringing it up again may cost her to drift away from me again and I don’t think – I don’t think I can make it.”

“And this is enough for you?”

“At least I get to sleep beside her at night?”

“You’re torturing yourself.” Yuri huffed, tossing her body on the bed. “In my opinion, it’s not only you who have fault. She, too, takes a part in it.”

“She needed me, Yuri, and I wasn’t there. She begged for me and – and… what have I done?” Tiffany buried her face to her hands. “I screwed up.”

“But you have responsibilities. She can’t take it all on you like that.”

“She was having a tough time. You don’t have to defend me. I know you love me but… just don’t.”

“Forgive me to ask this but… don’t you think, at this moment, she just uses you? Take advantage of you?”

“What do you mean?”

“You guys just… you know… do it all the time. Like whenever you see each other, you just get it on, sleep and then she’s gone to who knows where.”
