“I'm glad you make time to see me.”

A small smile formed upon Taeyeon’s lips. The smoke that produced from puffed up in the thin air. Her hands were deep in her pocket. Her light brown orbs stared at a far. The wind blew her black hair gently.

“How's life? How's your family? I haven't seen them in a while.”

“I’m good, a bit busier but good nonetheless.” Taeyeon didn’t avert her eyes from the snow at the end of her sight. “My family is fine too. They asked about you.”

“What did you say to them?” Tiffany tilted her head, observing if there was any change of expression on Taeyeon’s face.

“I didn’t say anything. I don’t know how you’re doing.” She shrugged as a matter of fact.

Tiffany felt her heart broke.

“So…” The taller girl cleared , “do you like it? Work at your father’s company?”

Small talk.

“I got to boss around. So it’s kind of fun, I guess?” She chuckled lightly. She wasn’t the funniest person Tiffany had ever known. In fact, her joke was terrible. But not in any book Tiffany could find the answer why she always laughed at it.

“You’re mean.” She smiled, happy to see Taeyeon’s grin and her flushed cheeks. And her voice.

Taeyeon’s voice. Her favorite music.

“But that is the truth,” she replied. “You know I don’t like business.” Taeyeon turned her gaze at Tiffany.

“Yeah, I know.”

Tiffany sighed inwardly, wondering whether it was a right thing to do to invite Taeyeon here. Looking at the real Taeyeon brought so much memory. It was the happiest time of her life. If only she wasn’t
