The thing with Taeyeon was, Tiffany never stopped loving her. Years by years Taeyeon’s face haunted Tiffany till she came to the point of stop trying so hard to forget her. It was her stupid fault; she made Taeyeon leave. She broke Taeyeon because she was scared.

There were a lot of options for Tiffany back then. It was tempting and inventing and she was too young to think about the future wisely. It wasn’t her heart that made the decision, it was her brain and she hated it. She hated her brain. Her brain was surprisingly stupid.

“I’m sorry, Taeyeon.” Tiffany said barely audible.

“For what?”

“That night.”

Taeyeon knew what Tiffany was talking about. “Forget it. It happened.”

“I was stupid, Taeyeon. I was scared and I – you were so special to me, you made me feel things that I didn’t know exist but the world, they…” Tiffany gulped. “They’d hate us, that time I didn’t think I can handle it.  I–”

“I say forget it. It doesn’t matter anymore, Tiffany. It’s over, you don’t have to be scared anymore.”

Tiffany shook her head hard. “You don’t understand, Taeyeon.”

She said nothing.

“I get what I want but I lose what I need the most. I miss you.”
