Tiffany let Sunny in wordlessly. Her eyes were swollen red, indicating she had been crying. She sat at the corner of the couch, hugging her knees miserably.

Sunny sighed inwardly at the gloomy atmosphere. The night was approaching but Tiffany hadn’t the lights. A mute TV was the only thing that illuminating the common room.

“Tiff.”

“She’s breaking up with me, isn’t she?” Tiffany sniffed as another tears rolled down. “I shouldn’t call her names. I was just–” Tiffany couldn’t finish her sentence as she started sobbing instead.

“It’s okay, Tiff.” Sunny pulled her friend into a hug, letting her shoulder be a place for Tiffany to cry.

After a while, Tiffany stopped. She was too tired. She had been crying for hours.

“Taeyeon is not breaking up with you.” Sunny Tiffany’s hair softly. “She needs time to figure things out.”

“I shouldn’t call her a cheater.” Tiffany wiped her tears. “I was so angry I didn’t really think–” She shook her head. “She’s not, Taeyeon is not a cheater. I know her. She wouldn’t do that to me.”

“Yeah, that’s not very nice.”

“What is she doing? Did she eat a lot of ice cream again?”  

“Unfortunately, yes. She also finished my share.”

Tiffany groaned, “she’ll get toothache again.”

“Good thing she dates a dentist.”

“Keeping her sit straight for half hour is so much work. I once almost stab her gum with a diamond bur.”

“Your tools are scary, Tiffany. I also not so fond with dentist.”
