#5. Guilt
NeffyShorties“I had a good day.” Taeyeon couldn’t contain her big smile as she leaned by the couch.
Tiffany knew the reason of that good day Taeyeon meant.
“How was yours?”
“It was okay.” The resident answered. Taeyeon bit her lower lip. Tiffany recognized that certain look very well. “Do you want to go out? Burger King?”
Taeyeon’s eyes were practically sparkling. “Thank you. You’re the best!”
The talk about work was forbidden inside the house. Be it a good event – moreover the bad one. The rule of what happened in the hospital stayed in the hospital was still applied. No one allowed saying a word about anything medical related when they stepped into the house. One can study by herself, but no discussion. Tiffany knew how bad Taeyeon wanted to tell her the story. Seeing how eager her lover was, she wouldn’t be able to wait till morning.
“Of course I am, silly.” Tiffany got off from the couch, squeezing Taeyeon’s shoulder as she made her way to the bedroom. Not long after, her head popped from the door. “Do you want to shower first?”
“Nah. I’ll do that before bed.”
“’Kay. Give me ten minutes.”
“Take your time!”

“That was the best seventeen hours of my life! I did a face transplant! That is one heck of a procedure.”
“I can tell.” Tiffany looked at Taeyeon adoringly. “I’m very proud of you.”
“Can you imagine how complicated it was? There were like – I don’t know I lost count – nerves and vessels that…” Taeyeon was speechless. Her brain bounced up and down, back and forth rapidly that could barely keep up with her head. “You know what I mean, right?”
“I know, baby.”
“I wish you were there. You would’ve seen a miracle.”
“Well, I saw you from the gallery.”
“No, I mean the procedure–”
“But you are the miracle.”
Taeyeon
