Taeyeon was late for the Gala. Her meeting with the new partner went longer than scheduled. She straightened up her working attire as she stepped out the car confidently. She masked her tiredness with a fake smile as usual.

She met Alice’s secretary on the way. He ushered her to Alice right away. Taeyeon wasn’t that keen to see her though. She was here for the sake of her company anyway. Her relationship with Alice did have its own power to their company. Her head hurt every time she thought about her horrible self and how Alice didn’t deserve any of this.
