“Babies,” Taeyeon stood in front of the triplets straightly. “We need to set up an emergency meeting.” She said firmly.

“What’s an emergency meeting, momma?” Venous asked innocently while eating her sugary cereal.

“It’s um… well, we meet in a room – this kitchen room for example and uh we talk about things.”

“But we do that all the time, momma.”

“Yes,” Taeyeon nodded solemnly. “It’s just to show how important what momma is about to say. It’s just a pre-word, Ve, to make cool effect.”

“Momma is the coolest!” Artery winked and gave her a thumb up. “Artery loves momma!”

Taeyeon couldn’t keep her composure due to her son’s cute act. She winked back and made a heart gesture for him. “Momma loves Artery!” She kissed the boy.

“Aorta loves momma, too.”

“Venous, too.”

“Momma loves Aorta and Venous, too.” Each earned a kiss on their lips. “Anyway. Let’s have the talk now, alright?”

The three nodded simultaneously.

“So kids… there are several deals momma would like to make. First, no more using Aorta, Venous and Artery’s gorgeous eyes to plead momma to give the three of you sweet things like ice cream, candies, or cookies. We will go back to mommy’s rule; ice cream on weekend, candies occasionally, and cookies only for snack time, once a day. Okay?”

“Not okay, momma!”

“Momma, nooooo!”

“Momma, Aorta likes ice cream, cookies and candies.” He said gently. “We should have what we like, momma.”

“Aorta, Artery and Venous still can have those but not too much. Having something too much is not good for our body.”

Aorta sighed but didn’t say anything. Venous pouted, silently showing her disagreement. Meanwhile Artery, he stomped his spoon loudly to point out how he disliked the arrangement.

Looking at the three so dejectedly, Taeyeon felt her heart break. They were just kids. Of course they’d like all the sweets in the world. They deserved nothing but sweets in the world for crying out loud!

They have to know when no is a no.

Babe, what did you feed them? They seem chubbier than the last time I saw them. You give them healthy food, right?

No. Absolutely not. Taeyeon shook her head vigorously. She shouldn’t surrender to those adorable faces. She was a woman of her words. She had promise her wife to take care of their children. The last thing she wanted was for Tiffany to nag her on how ridiculous and childish she was to give everything the triplets wanted just because she wanted the same thing.

“And uh… number two–”

“How many number, momma?”

“Two… three?”

“Momma, can we keep the sugary cereal, please? Aorta really likes sugary cereal. Aorta wants it for breakfast every day.”

“Baby, it is not healthy. There are plenty food for breakfast. Aorta will get bored with it. Once a week?”

“Six.”
