CHAPTER 8: CHANGES (PART 1)

It’s a new day, and Hyomin went to work for another day. She tried to catch up with other staff, but they seemed not want to.

-Let me help you with that. _ hyomin said to Suzy – the colleague that Qri had indicated to work with her.

-No need. You’re my assistant, so I’ll ask for help if I need you. Arasso? _ Even though Suzy was much younger than Hyomin, but she always said with arrogant and sarcastic tone. Hyomin only sighed. She thought everybody needed time to accept her as a part of them.

-I know.

-Good, and you shouldn’t report this to our CDO if you want to be peaceful here. _ Suzy threatened.

-I won’t._ Hyomin didn’t to make any conflict in the company, so she agreed.

-Remember your words. _ Suzy left Hyomin and back to her desk.

The other staff just ignored them because basically they didn’t like Hyomin because they thought Hyomin got in this company by unclear relationship with CDO. Therefore, they didn’t care about Hyomin, even some people didn’t agree with Suzy completely.

Qri just closed her eyes and drank a sip of tea. She was thinking about the company project. She chose Suzy as the leader of this project even homin was the designer of the collection. The reason was Hyomin had talent, but didn’t have enough experience in working and dealing with people. Moreover, she did know some people would get jealous at the other. By this way, she could get two birds with one stone. The minus of her plan was Hyomin had to suffer a bit. She knew the younger wouldn’t complain about anything, but she didn’t it. Deep down in her heart, a strange feeling occupied her heart that she had never spent before.

-I know. _ Still the same attitude, as cold as cucumber, the same fabulous style as always, but no one knew that she was worried without a proper reason. However, the one who wouldn’t see anything that normal people saw could “see” things that the bright eyes people couldn’t see.

Boram and Soyeon with her boys were gathering at the airport. Soyeon noticed that her boss looked different today. There was a frown on Boram’s face. Somehow, Soyeon didn’t like it.

-There’s something wrong with you, Aunty Boram? _ Mavin was an active boy. He knew how to break the silence.
