CHAPTER 5: OPPORTUNITY (PART 2)

When Soyeon and the boys came home, she just kept silent, then Mason decided to break this atmosphere.

- Mom, don't be angry, we're sorry about this. We're wrong, olease, forgive us._ He made a sign to Mavin.

- Yes, mom. He's right,we're wrong. We're sorry.

When hearing this, Soyeon coouldn't help crying, she turned around, kneeled down on her knees and hugged the twin.

- Ok, I'm not angry at you. I'm just so scared, you know? I can lose everything but you. Theerefore, next tme, don't go around but say to me, huh?

- But Boram aunty announced that we would go to a nearby restaurant to have dinner._ Mavin tried to break the misunderstanding.

- What do you mean?

- I'm sorry for not refusing her offer. She said she couldn't call you, so she just texted for you._ Mason felt regret making their mom sad.

- Text message? Let me see._ She checked her phoneand saw many missed calls and  a messang from Boram.

" I know you will finish working late tonight, so can I take your children to Tom & Jerry restaurant to have dinner because it's already late. I guess your children must be hungry. See you then. BORAM."

After reading the message, Soyeon felt guilty to slap Boram so much. She didn't know how to deal with this situation. Because of the anger and her worry about the boys, she didn't feel scared to slap the other's face, but now when she knew that Boram had no fault, moreover, she was her boss. How can she face to this?

About Boram, she also felt uneasy about this, she blamed herself for making Soyeon angry. She could understand her feeling and the reason she took this slap. Of course, she didn't feel angry about Soyeon. She stayed up late to find a way out for this.

She didn't want to shre this to anyone because it was her problem after all. She didn't want to be a turtle which is always in its cover. She want to be brave and could handleher problem by her all. With that thinking, she kept this like her secret although Qri noticed her sorrow face and asked the reason. Luckily, Eunjung was busy with her stuff, so she temporarily sisn't go home. If not, she didn't know how tocover this. If they knew she was slapped on the face, she could ensure that Soyeon would be sacked or cut her position. It's not good at all. She just shaked her head to think positive and didn't let anyone feel hurt or disturbed because of her. What a problem! It was worse than the company documents that she had to work with everyday!

AFter coming back from work, Eunjung immediately went to the house where Jiyeon was working to pick the latter up. When she came there, she saw Jiyeon coming out from the house.

- I come on time, right?

Jiyeon said nothing but nod her head slightly, she wasn't used to being treated well like this. It was weird feeling for her.

- Get on._ She helped Jiyeon open the car door like a gentleman.

On the way to Eunjung's house, Jiyeon just kept silent. On the other hand, Eunjung tried to break the awkward feeling for them.

- Are you tired?

- No.

- But I'm tired. It's only one day off but so many things I have to deal with.
