The following morning, an alarm screeched out into the dark room – the oldest of the six males stirred, calming the blaring cell phone. He blinked the sleep out of his eyes, groaning slightly as he shifted in the bed to glance at the entirely too bright red number on the clock which read 4:30, he knew for a fact he hadn’t set an alarm, so he picked up his cell phone again, reading the manager’s text to him, which read:

Get them up Younghun. We will be leaving at 6:00 in the morning whether you all are ready or not.

The male sighed angrily, he nudged Minhyun with his foot rather harshly, “Yah, lazy , get up.”

Minhyun shifted in the bed, glaring at the older male due to the older purposely hitting his bruise as well as the pleasant words to wake to.

“Get up,” muttered Younghun as he sat down on the edge of the bed again, rubbing his eyes once more before unlocking his phone. Knowing that Minhyun was going to insult him or say something unpleasant in return he added, “Quietly, or you’ll wake WooRa up before you get to see them.”

Minhyun shot up out of bed, only to nearly fall flat on his face as he smacked into Younghun’s shoulder and lost balance near the edge of the bed. He let out a light groan, sensing that his fall was going to hurt since his leg and back muscles were already protesting from the bruising they had receive the previous day. However, the impact never came and he felt a hand on his shoulder, preventing him from falling.

“Careful there, I know you’re eager to see them, but you don’t need to trample me,” stated Younghun, his attention turning back towards his phone once he was sure the younger had regained his balance.

“What is going on?” groaned an exhausted Xue, staring at the two 93liners through the room that was dimly lit by the television screen. Minhyun pointed towards the middle bed and a expression of understanding seemed to fall over the magnae’s face.

Shin sat up as well, staring at Minhyun in shock before looking towards the leader, who was now standing by the bedside table again, his one hand on the light switch and his other on his phone – where his attention was currently since he had received yet another text message from their manager.

“How did you get him up so quickly?” questioned Shin, acting like it was an amazing feat – which it was, Minhyun obviously enjoyed his sleep.

“WooRa,” responded both Jhun and Minhyun.

“You guys are nearly as bad as the fans,” stated Shin, he then realized that the two weren’t actually bickering for once, “Also, is there something that I’ve missed here?”

“That is insulting,” muttered Minhyun.

“Not the second part but the first,” stated Younghun, finishing Minhyun’s throughally creeping out the other two members who were awake.

“I think there is something we missed hyung,” whispered Xue, peering at the older two males who were across the room suspiciously.

“What are you talking about?” muttered Min and Jhun, peering at the two.

“That,” stated Shin.

“What?” repeated the two yet again in unison.

“That,” repeated Xue, “Seriously, stop it you two – it’s creepy! You two are purposely doing it aren’t you?”

“We’re not doing anything on purpose,” stated Younghun.

“Sure,” responded Xue, Minhyun rolled his eyes.

“The thing creeping me out right now is the fact you two aren’t on each other’s backs, disagreeing about every little thing the other says,” stated Shin, “It really creeps me out when you two get along with each other.”

“Why?” questioned Younghun, finally setting his phone down and flipping on the lamp.

Shin then continued on, “Because, it’s so quiet.”

“Isn’t it better than us fighting?” questioned Younghun.

Shin shook his head, “It is not.”

Younghun chuckled, before looking towards Minhyun – who was staring at the duo lying in the bed before him. Younghun followed his gaze and smirked at the picture he saw. Sora had his head resting on one of Woo Jung’s arms – using it as a pillow; their faces were in a close proximity of each other, and Woo Jung’s other arm was wrapped around the other 94er liner’s waist.

“Should we wake them up?” questioned Younghun, looking at his phone, “We need to start getting ready – we leave in an hour…”

“Nah,” muttered Minhyun, “Let the two have to rush to get ready together.”

“You’re determined to get them together, aren’t you?” questioned Shin.

Min nodded and Jhun moved towards the bathroom, rolling his eyes, speaking as he did so, “I don’t really care, it’s just that I’m getting tired of their longing looks.”

“In other words you want them together,” stated Shin.

“Don’t we all want them to get together?” questioned Jhun, looking Shin in the eye.

The younger nodded.

At about five thirty the due had finally woken up due to the others making enough noise – meaning that Minhyun and Younghun had finally started to bicker after getting along for a little over an hour. Upon their awakening, the two were scared out of their wits due to the fact that they had to get ready within thirty minutes or else Hyun Soo would come up and drag them down to the van – no matter how they looked. Those who had bruises on their faces made an effort to cover them up with makeup, all thankful that they weren’t swelling too much.

A half-an hour later, the boys were drug out to the beach where they got their makeup done by their stylists along with their hair, they then went to the public restroom that was actually closed to the public to change into the clothes the stylists had set aside for them. They all had on blue skinny jeans – to some of the members discomfort, however, they all had different shades of blue pants – that is all but two members, Woojung and Minhyun had on black pants since it seemed to match their shirts better. While they all had on similar pants on, they also all had the same shirt on, just different colors: Jhun was dressed in red, Shin in orange, Min in a royal purple, Sora in yellow, Woo Jung in a royal blue, and Xue in an emerald green.

As they stepped out of the bathrooms – which had temporarily been transformed into their changing station, Minhyun looked towards Hyun Soo, “Are we the power rangers now, or something?”

Hyun Soo laughed at the rather grumpy male before shaking his head as the stylists rolled up the males’ sleeves up towards their elbows – the stylists also ed a couple of buttons on Younghun and Shin’s shirts and made sure some of them had theirs tucked in fully.

“You all aren’t the power rangers, the reason for you all having different colors on is for the sole purpose many people are having issues learning your names since you all had the same hair color last time around, hence the reason we made you all change your hair colors around this time around along with dressing you all in different colors – which will be the main color you will be having for this music video shoot.”

The males all nodded.

As soon as they were ready the shoot kicked off with them starting with their dance. The longer the shoot carried on, the more fan and people gathered around, the boys of Spectrum had only become aware of the camera filming them for Arirang during the lunch break, during which they had to not only eat, but participate in a group interview but also solo interviews.

The individual interviews were completed successfully and they soon moved onto the group interview after a lunch break, which allowed them to get them out of the heat of the sun.

“Hana, deul, set…” muttered Younghun.

“Annyeonghaseyo, Spectrum imnida!” stated the six in perfect unison as practiced.

The interviewer then asked them all to do self-introductions. It started out with the leader, who was stationed in the back row, standing behind Minhyun’s chair.

“Annyeong-hasimnikka, Spectrum’s leader Jhun-imnida,” state Jhun, bowing slightly out of respect – after his short and to the point introduction, he handed the microphone to Shin who stood to his left.

“Annyeonghaseyo, Shin-imnida, I’m in charge of dancing and rapping in Spectrum,” stated Shin, adding information as directed by the interviewer before handing it to Sora, who was smiling the most broadly and naturally out of the six.

“Annyeong, Sora-imnida, I’m in charge of singing in Spectrum, I’m also in charge of visuals,” stated Sora, winking playfully towards the camera, before handing the microphone to Xue, who sat before him.

“Annyeonghaseyo, Spectrum’s magnae Xue-imnida,” stated Xue, smiling shyly towards the camera, “I’m in charge of vocals in Spectrum alongside Sora-hyungnim.”

With that the microphone was passed to Woojung, who nodded his head as a greeting as he gave a short self-introduction, “Annyeonghaseyo, Woo Jung-imnida, I’m in charge of rapping in Spectrum.”

Finally the microphone was given to Min who bowed slightly in his chair as the manager advised him to do, “Annyeonghaseyo, Min-imnida, I’m in charge of dancing in Spectrum.”

With that the interview got underway.

“Where are we today?” questioned the interviewer.

“We are currently in Jeju to film our comeback music video,” stated Sora, who had been given the opportunity to answer the question, “We filmed our teaser and other scenes for our music video – as well as our music video teaser yesterday. Today we’re filming our dance and later tonight the hyungs – and Woo Jung-ah – will be filming their solo shots. Xue and I already finished up with ours.”

“What is the concept of the song and music video for ‘From U’?” questioned the interviewer.

Younghun took the interview into his hands, “The song is about a couple who got together years ago and about how they are constantly at each other’s sides supporting each other – it’s pretty much the male saying that how thankful he is for the girl. It is also about him trying to figure out why exactly she fell for him. At one point in time he thinks, that he really didn’t deserve her, but at the same time doesn’t want them to break up ever.”

“I heard that there is something special about the music video – what exactly is that?” questioned the interviewer.

“I cannot say, however, seeing as how we debuted in June and we’re quickly approaching our fourth month together, it should be pretty obvious,” stated Younghun.

“It’s something for your hundredth day?” stated the interviewer, the boys nodded, “Why do something for your hundredth day, why not just wait for your first year anniversary to come around?”

“Even though we’re not as popular as the other groups out there, we’re still successful, considering that there were many groups in the past that hadn’t even made it past their hundredth day,” stated Younghun, handling the question with ease and getting a thumbs up from Hyun Soo, “Your hundredth day is an anniversary much like the others and due to that, we want to show our thanks to all the fans we have – even if it is just a small number of them.”

The interviewer hummed in understanding, moving on with the next questions, which were handled by Shin, Woo Jung, Min, and Xue – all of the members were given opportunities to speak.

Soon, the interview came to its end and the interviewer asked for final words from Younghun, “Please support ‘From U’ when it comes out and please support us by also buying our full length album that is about to come out Summer Spectrum. Thank you all for supporting us this long, please continue to support us and we’ll see you for our hundredth day.”

With that being said, the interview wrapped up and the boys returned to their music video shoot until late at the night – where they all filmed their solo shots in separate places along the same beach – both Xue and Sora had been dismissed early and taken to their hotel to rest while the others worked hard through the night.

The next morning, the boys filmed their final shots for the teaser before thanking the crew for their hard work on the filming of their music video that had finally wrapped up after nearly forty-eight hours of filming. The boys then had the rest of the day to as they wished – with the supervision of the managers. All six males decided to play at the beach since the weather was nice. Thus, they spent their time happily, once again oblivious to the fact that they were being filmed by Arirang.
