BBQ
A Wall In between
"Okay, let's cheer up and have a BBQ. We might as well stay over for the day, I don't think you guys can go home with that face.", I said, trying to liven up the mood.
Silence.
"Come on guys, we can't just be shocked all day. So let's get this hands and legs moving!"
'Ok!' Everyone said at the same time and we cracked up laughing.
So while my friends rang their parents, I went into the kitchen and got lot's of vegatables and quorn (fake meat but contains alot of protein like meat; since most of us are vegetarians).
"Sun Hi! Hoo Sook! Go set up the table outside." I shouted.
"Yes sir", they both replied.
"Jae Hwa! Young Mi! Help me cut these vegetables", I called.
"Coming", I heard.
'And Hyun Jae, put on some music and head outside and help Mi Jin set the grill up", I ordered.
"Aye aye leader nim", she said.
I love ordering people and demanding things. It's so fun! I guess everything is back to normal now that everyones smiles are back. I smiled at that thought.
Music was on, vegetables were out, table was set. All we need to do now is start BBQing! I put the vegetables and the quorn on the grill. I think we put too much! We could save some for mum. Young Mi went inside to get paper plates while the others just ran around in the garden.
I heard the doorbell. So i told Hyun Jae and Jae Hwa to take over. I opened the door.
"Monsoon, what brings you here?", I asked.
He could tell that I was surpised by the tone of my voice.
"Just, you said you ran out of sugar so I went out and bought you some!", he said with a big smile.
"Aww, thats so sweet of you. Come in. You should have some food before you go.", I offered.
"No, it's ok. I eat a lot so you might run out", I laughed.
"No no. We made a lot and we were wondering how we'll finish it. So come on."
"No it's okay! Myungsoo hyung will shout at you again!", he said looking on the floor in regret.
"No he won't dare to do that because I will shout back at him", I smiled.
"Okay then!", he said cheerfully.
We went to the back and I got him a plate full of food.
"Wow you guys are fully supplied."
"Of course, we are. So eat as much as you want", I said while smiling.
I pointed at the table. Telling him to sit down. Before, he did we all heard a familiar voice shouting for Monsoon.
We all looked up to see Myungsoo.
"Monsoon, Monsoon!", he shouted.
"Yah he is right here so stop shouting. He will come after eating some food. You should have some aswell." I said, clearly annoyed by his voice.
"No thanks" he said.
"Your mum would be late, so I'm going to pack you a box full of food. Monsoon, I'll add extra for you. So take it up to your brother, okay?"
"Okay", Monsoon replied. Myungsoo didn't say anything, he just went in and closed the door behind him. Victory was mine, I smiled.
