Just another day
A Wall In between
At that moment, the bell went off. I should get that thing removed some time...
"I'll go", Sun Hi said making her way to the door.
"Oh Myungsoo come in", we heard her said. We all leaned towards the door to see who it was. It was Myungsoo taking his shoes off. He walked in with his usual cold, expressionless face and sat on the single seat sofa. He ruffled through his hair once and sorted out his front fringe.
"What?", he asked me with an inimidating look.
"Someone seems moody", I whispered causing everyone to giggle.
"What? Did you say something?", he asked and rubbed one of his eyes.
"Dont tell me you just woke up", I said.
"Not my fault. Monsoon woke me up before but I fell asleep again as soon as he left", he said. He was still half asleep.
"Lazy..", I muttered.
"Well because I carried you fat pig around for the whole day!" he said.
"Weakling..", I muttered once more.
"Say that once more and I'll throw you out of the window upstairs", he warned.
"Look now you're fully awake", I smiled. He snared at me and looked away. I giggled. I may hate him but sometimes I just couldnt resist messing with him! How cute. Reminds me of times when I do that to Hoo Sook. Lets try that.
"Yaah Hoo Sook!", I shouted.
"Yes Unnie?", she answered.
"Dont you know that you are supposed to serve your elders with drinks and snacks?", I asked furiously making her jump.
"Sorry unnie I didnt know. Please dont shout. I wont do it again", she said in fear. How cute. I smiled.
"Unnie you aint mad at me?", she asked quietly.
"Of course not. Just joked to liven up the mood but seems like it didnt work. Come on everyone it was a joke!", I said. Everyone forced a laugh out.
*Ding Dong* It was the door bell again.
"I'll get it this time", Young Mi said. She got up and walked to the door and checked.
"Hold this.". It was Jae Hwa and Mi Jin. They both carried the pizzas in with Young Mi following.
*Ding dong* Young Mi ran back to the door. I think it must be Monsoon. He came in quietly with a big bottle of Coke with Young Mi following.
"Lets dig in", Jae Hwa said. We all opened the boxes and ate the pizza pieces in silence. Everyone was hungry. It was a long day after all. One after one we finished eating and drinking coke. I stared into space while rubbing my stomach.
"Guess you gained another kilo. Find yourself someone else who would carry you", Myungsoo pointed out breaking the silence. I looked down at him.
"No one told you to carry me. You volunteered to carry me. I would have made it here myself even if I would have taken my time", I said. I was too full to even put any expressions into my voice. My voice was plain and expressionless. Myungsoo looked away. Embarrased I guess.
"Am I really that pretty?", I teased. He quickly turned around and glared at me. Is this how you should look while you are embarrased?
"Dont try it!", he exclaimed.
"Stop talking you two! You are disturbing our thoughts", Hoo Sook.
"What are you thinking about?", I asked.
"There really isnt anything to think about it. Your house is boring!",
she said.
"Then why do you always come here?", I asked.
"Your mother doesnt mind us shouting around.", Mi Jin answered.
"I guess thats true", I said. My voice still had a plain tone.
"How did all of you become friends anyways?", Monsoon asked. Myungsoo also looked at us. Guess he was interested too.
"We just became friends. Nothing else", Hyun Jae said. I guess she was right.
"I was going to ask how you two know eachother. But then I realised that you are brothers", Young Mi laughed. We all laughed.
"Its 6pm already. We all have homework shall we get going?", Sun Hi asked.
"Already? Hyunsoo you are lucky!! So are you Myungsoo. Monsoon have you done your homework?", Jae Hwa asked. He nodded his head with a smile.
"Okay lets get going then!", Hyun Jae said. "Will you be fine alone Hyunsoo?". I nodded.
"No she wont. As soon as someone opens the door she begins to cry. We will watch her", Myungsoo said.
"When did I cry?", I asked.
"'Dont hurt me'", he imitated me.
"I dont do that", I exclaimed.
"Okay okay stop fighting for once. Myungsoo and Monsoon can watch you today. Just for one hour.", Hyun Jae said. She is probably the only one I respect out of all of them. I should listen to her. I sighed.
"Fine". I waved everyone good bye. It was already really dark. What do you expect from January. I wish it snows. There is always something so magical about snow. Its so pure and white but falls in the darkest nights. I smiled while staring into space.
"Stop doing that its creeping me out", Myungsoo said while taking a few steps back.
"Myungsoo sshi. Now that I look at you, you are really handsome.", I joked.
"Please dont joke around. Its creepy.", he said.
"But Myungsoo Oppa I'm just openly telling you my feelings. I cant help but feel attracted to you", I said while using some aegyo in my voice.
"Lee Hyunsoo you cant act cute! Stop trying so hard its creepy!", he said. Monsoon stood there laughing. I joined in and Myungsoo followed.
