New Neighbours
A Wall In betweenThe day just passed by and I kept staring out of the window all day.
Dear God I asked for something interesting and not a slave driver!
After the day finished I walked out of the classroom closing the door behind me.
"Yaah Hyunsoo ah wait up we take the same bus remember?". It was Sun Hi.
I stopped walking and waited for her. We slowly walked to the bus stop and got onto the bus. We were lucky enough to get seats. We sat down and there was an awkward silence between us.
"That new guy is buff right? You got to show him around right how is he like?" she started off. Oh great don't tell me she is part of his fan club.
"He's really stubborn and arrogant and stuck up and-". She interupted me.
"I asked you if he was good looking or not. So is he?"
"I guess he is a little" I mumbled, looking out of the window. She smiled at me teasingly.
"But it still doesn't change the fact that he is arrogant stubborn and stuck up", I protested.
"Hey hey Missy you are pretty bossy and stubborn aswell sometimes", she said.
Me? Bossy? Am I really stubborn and bossy? No way! It can't be.
"Hey I need to get off see you tomorrow", Sun Hi got off the bus and waved. I waved back and then just sat there thinking. Am I really like that?
My stop soon followed and I got off. I walked home and opened the door. I found a note on the table.
'Dad has gone on a trip abroad. Go grocery shopping I'll be back from work around 5, Mum.'
I decided to take my bike and go to the store. I set off. It was pretty warm for winter but since I was cycling I could still feel a cool breeze. Cycling is probably the best method to get around here. Then I spotted someone with my school uniform from afar. I haven't seen that person before. When we got closer I saw it was him. Myungsoo. I think he hasn't seen me yet so I decided to take a 'u turn' and go the other way. I was just about to do that when he spotted me. I can't go the other way now he'll make school hell for me! I decided to cross the road instead and cycled past him. I stared and him. He glared back. It's as if we are strangers who have just met for the first time. It felt like one of those awkward meeting scenes they do in dramas with all those dramatic sound effects. I decided to look away and kept pedalling and reached the store. I picked up the items on the shppping list and went back home but now that I think of it why was he around that area in the first place?
I kept pedalling. I reached home in no time while enjoying the sun that comes out once every fullmoon. I'm not joking its been such a long time since it was this warm. I opened the door, put the groceries on the kitchen table and headed up stairs. I decided to have a shower to forget about today.
Wash away the things you saw and heard, Hyunsoo. Wash away all the bad things people have said to you today. Forget about them and just be yourself. I began to sing 'happy days' to get back into my good mood. Wonder what time it is...
I heared the front door open. I froze.
"Hyunsoo, I'm home.", it was mum. I got out of the shower and began to dry my hair. Now that i look at it more closely it has become quite long. I wonder if I should cut it again. To be honest I have always prefered straight hair more than wavy hair but now I just dont want to touch my straightener again.
When my hair was dry enough, I started doing maths homework.
"Hyunsoo, where are you?", Mum called.
"Upstairs, doing homework, Mum", I shouted back. The house went back to being calm and quite. I continued to do my homework but stopped when heard sounds from the kitchen. It's probably just mum cooking.
All of a sudden, a loud tune came on.
The doorbell? Unexpected visitors? I Wonder who...
Hi again. I decided to update again and no not because I dont have a life. Lol no because ZeroPrincesses will be having exams shortly *wish us good luck*. I've already written a lot and most of the draft is on my phone so all I have to do is edit and and correct any mistakes and split the big chunk into chapters. So horaay I will update a lot but bad news is that I cant find the note book with all my chapters in it. Thank god i planned on my phone so i can just simply copy and paste. *horaay for copy and paste*
