A Wall In betweenYo!!!!! I finally reached 70 Subbies!! It's a really big achievement for someone as small as me . So I wanna thank every single one of you all including the silent readers. I hope you all enjoyed Hyunsoo's dream. She is a little strange and I'm even stranger for being able to make up such a strange character. Anyways lets celebrate *Celebrate good times come on*. Thanks for supporting me for so long. I love all your feedbacks etc and I'm hoping to see more. It's the only way to know that you guys are alive. Enough of me lets get back to Hyunsoo and Myungsoo :)
That day, after school I went to the head teacher to get permission to go and view the place we will be staying at. Myungsoo joined me no matter how hard I tried to convince him not to. I eventually gave up and he got permission to come with me as 'acting vice president' as most schools have such a thing. I told Myungsoo not to be late and before heading home, we went and put some credit onto our travel card. I still had a bad stomach from the sandwich Myungsoo gave me so I went straight to bed when I got home after ironing my uniform and sorting out the money and everything. Since we had to go because of a school issue, we had to wear school uniform. I fell asleep after feeding Eros.
I woke up in the morning and followed my normal routine. I sorted my uniform out after putting it on. Making sure top button was done etc. First impressions always count. I checked my bag and went out after feeding Eros. Myungsoo was at my door. He looked normal...
"Yaah sort out your uniform. Do your top button. Tuck your shirt in. Sort out your tie. Remove your ear piercing." I shouted. He got startled.
"You never complained about my uniform", he pointed out.
"Well now I am. Now listen to me and sort out your uniform. If they don't give us the venue and hostel, I'll blame you", I said. He looked at my uniform.
"You should wear your glasses. You'll look more like the class president that way." he suggested. I took my glasses out and put them on.
"Now sort out your uniform", I said.
"But I don't wanna", he argued. He was starting to annoy me.
"Do it before I'll do it for you", I became impatient.
"I don't mind", he smiled. This little... I took a deep breath.
"Fine", I said.
"Really?" he asked in a surprised tone.
"Yes and I'll start by ripping that piercing out", I said. He gulbed.
"I'll do it myself then", he said. He sorted his uniform out and I watched making sure he really did.
"Now hand over that earring", I said. He handed over his earring.
"Not fair. Girls get to wear earrings", he complained.
"We look decent while doing so. You look like those people who'll be unemployed in 10 years", I said.
"You mean like a bad boy? Girls like bad boys. I mean I'm sure you do too", he said.
"Not exactly", I said bluntly.
"Do I look like a vice pres?" he asked.
"You are not the vice president. That doesn't even exist in our school." I said.
"Secreta-", he started.
"You're not my secretary either", I shouted, "You are just an annoying guy who follows me around everywhere".
"Ow that hurt Pres", he said.
"It was meant to", I said bluntly. Monsoon came to the front door following the noise. He looked his brother up and down and broke out in laughter.
"No one could make him dress like this before", he laughed, "Wait I got an idea". He ran inside to get something. He handed a pair of fake specs to Myungsoo, which Myungsoo put on.
"You don't like bad boys. Do like good boys?" he asked smiling. I couldn't keep a straight face and chuckled.
"I'm model student Kim Myungsoo of class 11A and also the acting Vice president", he practiced a greeting.
"Okay enough, you'll make us late with your messing around", I giggled.
"I made the class Pres smile", he cheered.
"Enough. Let's go! Take care on your way to school", I said to Monsoon and we left for the train station. We went to platform 4 and waited for the train.
"Does this train go straight to the place?" he asked. I nodded. I turned around and started laughing after seeing 'Model student Kim Myungsoo'.
"It takes 2 hours to get there", I said after straightening up my face. The sign said '2 minutes
left'.
"I got a sandwich want one?" he asked.
"I'm fine I have my own food and I won't take sandwiches from you after yesterday", I laughed. I suddenly remembered the dream and Myungsoo's question. 'Do you like anyone? Might that be me?'. I thought about it. I shook my head.
"Of course it's not true. Don't think about those things Hyunsoo", I said to myself. Myungsoo gave me a weird look. I said that out loud. I looked around to see a few people looking at me. I smiled innocently. The train arrived and we got on. I sat down and Myungsoo came and sat next to me. People looked at me. Especially a group of girls.
"What are you doing idiot? You're attracting unwanted attention towards me", I whispered to him.
"What do you mean?" he asked while smiling. He obviously knew what I meant.
"Idiot! They'll get the wrong idea", I whispered back.
"Really? So girls do like good guys too", he thought. I face palmed myself. I got up and was about to walk off to another seat. He stopped me by grabbing my wrist.
"You are staying here. I didn't just come to annoy you throughout the journey, I came because I was worried." he said in a very quiet voice. I looked at him and sat down without talking back.
"We are only Class president and vice president", he said.
"You're not the vice president", I pointed out breaking the awkward atmosphere between us. He laughed. Two hours past with us talking like that. We got off at our stop and walked out of the train station. It was only a two minute walk to the hostel. We were supposed to meet the owner at the front door. However when we arrived there was no one there apart from a boy not more than 3 years older than us. He wore a dark blue blazer over a light blue shirt and a blue tie. It was probably his school uniform. He had black hair and deep brown eyes. Just like Myungsoo he had a piercing on his left ear and his uniform wasn't in the best state. Despite all that he wasn't that bad looking. I went up to him.
"Excuse me do you know where the owner of this hostel is?" I asked.
"You are Lee Hyunsoo?" he asked. I nodded. "I'm the grandson of the owner. He couldn't attend today so I was sent instead."
"Nice to meet you", I bowed.
"You look much younger than I imagined", he pointed out. I just smiled. He turned over to Myungsoo.
"And you are the vice president?" he asked.
"No I just came to study sociology!" he said. I face palmed myself while the boy looked confused.
"What's up with you?" I asked.
"You don't like me calling myself Vice president so I'm just a sociology student who came to observe how the class president socialises with people", he said.
"Please don't say anything and keep quiet", I said.
"Aye aye", he agreed.
"I'll show you around." the boy said.
"Thank you um..", I didn't know his name.
"I'm Kim Jaehyun." he smiled. He took us around the hostel. The rooms were alright in size. We went over to the venue which was absolutely stunning. It wasn't big but it looked very posh. The walls were white and the furnitures were also white to match the walls. The chandeliers where golden. We went outside and saw the beach.
"It takes around a minute to get to the beach. It's an amazing view in the summer", he explained to which Myungsoo and I just nodded insync. To be honest I would gave expected the price to be much higher for this place. We went to the main office and started to calculate the total. I predicted it to be much more than it actually costed. I paid and booked the place for 4 days and 3 nights. We both thanked him and left the place. Myungsoo held his hand out.
"My earring", he demanded while untucking his shirt.
"Doing you uniform right won't kill you", I said. He didn't respond but violently undid his top button and loosened his tie.
"Yes yes. You didn't get a bad impression of that dude back there. His uniform was worse than mine. He looked like a total delinquent!" Myungsoo said.
"Well..." I started off while putting the earring on.
"Exactly. You can undo your top button too. I don't want to be seen with a goody-two-shoes", he said in a rude tone. Although the other Myungsoo was embarrassing, I prefered him more than this one. This guy has some strange bipolar. We walked to the train station past an ice cream store. My eyes naturally fixed onto the store.
"Want some?" he asked. Lee Hyunsoo, you have to resist!
"I can tell by your expression. Go in", he said.
"No need", I said in a rude tone.
"Okay I won't shout at you! I'm sorry for taking my anger out on you earlier on", he apologized.
"I still don't want Ice cream!" I said.
"You can be so childish sometimes", he said and pushed me into the ice cream store. "It's my treat so just tell me what you want".
