'Sunbae'
A Wall In between
I knocked and waited. Myungsoo answered.
"Ohh Hi Myungsoo didn't expect you to open the door", I made something up.
"This is my house", he pointed out.
"Oh yeah I completely forgot! I just came here to say Hi. As a good neighbour you see", I said.
"What do you want?", he asked knowing I was there for a reason.
"Well I was revising and I kinda got stuck on a question so would you pleas-"
"No", he cut through.
"Myungsoo ah whats all that noise?", It was his mother. "Oh good afternoon dear how may I help you?", she asked. I'll definatly use this chance! I changed my tone.
"Good afternoon Ajumma. I was revising with my friends and got stuck on a question so I was wondering if Myungsoo sunbae would help me.", I told her.
"Wouldn't you be his sunbae if you joined the school before him?", she asked me. She was confused.
"Yep that would be the case but since Myungsoo sunbae is older than me I call him sunbae out of respect.", I said giving her a big smile.
"Well of course Myungsoo could teach such a lovely young lady like you", she smiled. I smiled back.
"But is it really alright. I mean sunbae must be really busy revising for his own exams. I would feel really bad if I became a burden", I made myself sound really caring.
"Oh dear you will grow up to be such a fine young lady. Myungsoo doesn't revise at all. He sleeps and watches TV all the time. I would rather have him help you than laze around".
I looked at Myungsoo. He was totally surprised. Victory was mine once again. I went and called my friends and Myungsoo took us to the living room. We all sat around the dining table.
"Meehrong. Victory was mine!", I said sticking my tongue out. He glared back.
We then started attacking him with questions. He started off and went around the table. I didn't want to admit but he made such a good teacher. I'm positive I will pass this exam!
We looked at the time. 9pm??!! We came here at 5. Well it was nice of him to teach us.
"Ajumma we have to go now. Thank you for letting us in and making Myungsoo sunbae help us", I said to her.
"Come back whenever you need help. He will help you again" she smiled.
"Thanks sunbae", we all said to Myungsoo. We walked out of the door and went back.
"Hey Lee Minho's new movie is out shall we watch it tomorrow?", Sun Hi asked.
Lee Minho? IT'S HIS FIRST MOVIE. I started spazzing. He is my favorite actor out there!!!
"We should go tomorrow!", Mi Jin said excited.
"Lee Minho. Lee Minho. Lee Minho", I started singing.
"Don't dare take him. He's mine", said Jae Hwa.
"Geez we already agreed that he is mine", Sun Hi said.
"What are you guys saying he is mine", Young Mi said.
"Mine", Mi Jin pointed out.
"Shut up I saw his first drama waay before you guys. And besides I would Iook way better with him than you guys", I said.
We all started bickering with Hoo Sook and Hyun Jae standing on the side lines.
"You can all have hi-", Hoo Sook started.
"NO" we all shouted before laughing.
We all made dinner ate and went to bed with excitement. Nothing can ruin this moment. He is so handsome...
Good night Lee Minho wherever you are....
The alarm went off. We all woke up had breakfast and dressed our best. We aren't going to see him in person but hey what if he just shows up. We were ready to go out when the door bell rang.
"Hyunsoo ah go get the door", Mum shouted.
I wonder who...
