=Kyuhyun's POV=

I took a hot shower as soon as Changmin hung up the phone, it was only 2 in the afternoon, still a long time to go until Yumi gets off work.

So, she gets off at 9pm, then? What am I gonna do?

Am I gonna wait for her? bring her to the bus stop? walk her to her house?

Hmm. Whatever, I'll think of what to do when I get there.

I decided to play Starcraft first while waiting for her.

Time flew by fast whenever I was playing.

I checked the time on my laptop, and it was already 8 in the evening.

Shoot. Have to go.

I quickly wore my cap and my black hoodie, people probably won't recognize me at this state anymore.

I hurried out of my room and drank a glass of water.

"Oh, Kyuhyunnie, you're going out?" Eunhyuk hyung asked.

I gulped down the water and nodded at him.

"Mmm." I mumbled.

"To where? Mind if I come with y-"

"NO!" 

I immediately ran to the door, put my shoes on and dashed outside.

"Don't worry hyung, I'll be back in a bit!" I shouted before closing the door.

*sigh* That was close.

I arrived a little bit early, it was only 8:45pm. 

Hmm. Looks like they're not yet cleaning up. Guess I'll wait here first.

I sat down on one of the benches outside of the restaurant and waited for the employees to get out.

Crap. I didn't know it would be this cold tonight, should've worn warmer clothes instead.

I went to the vending machine near the place and got myself a cup of warm coffee.

Good thing there was something like this here.

I went back to the bench and patiently waited for Yumi-ssi. I held the cup of coffee with both my hands and tried to shake my feet to make myself feel warmer.

After about ten minutes, some of the employees went out of the restaurant.

Oh, thank God. My fingers are frozen already.

I threw my cup of coffee away and stood up to wait for Yumi-ssi.

After a few minutes more, she finally went out.

She shivered a little as the cold wind blew on her face. She blew on her hands and put them on her pocket.

After that, she started to walk towards the bus stop.

Should I just come up to her? but that would be kinda awkward right now. Guess I'll just follow her secretly.

I stayed behind her and followed her wherever she would go. I didn't know if she noticed my presence or not, but she wasn't looking back anyway, so I guess not.

We arrived at the bus stop, but the bus wasn't there yet.

She proceeded to the grocery in front of the bus stop to buy something.

I was actually thinking of going inside the grocery too, but my feet were too cold to walk already, and the blood inside me felt like it was boiling of too much coldness.

I decided to sit in the bench behind the bus stop, and wait for the bus to arrive.

God, it's as cold as the North Pole in here. 

"Where t-the hell i-is that f-freaking bus?!" I gritted under my teeth, my jaw was shivering at this point.

Finally, the bus arrived.

I immediately stepped inside and went to the seat which was closest to the rear exit. 

I guess if Yumi-ssi doesn't see me, I could at least say goodbye to her when she gets off.

I rubbed my hands together and blew some air on them to keep them warm, as I looked out for Yumi-ssi to get in the bus.

Yumi-ssi ran to the bus just in time, the doors closed behind her.

Phew. That was close.

I watched her as she made her way to the seats, and noticed that she was going in my direction.

Yes! the seat beside me is empty.

After a few moments, she put her bag down and sat beside me.

I couldn't look straight to her for some reason, 

Probably cause her skin looked more glowing in the night. I mean, seriously.

She's incredibly beautiful.

I was thinking of ways to talk to her, or to face her, at least.

I finally opened my mouth and whispered,

"Good evening, Yumi-ssi."

she turned to my side, and for some reason, fear and horror filled her face the moment she saw me.

Her eyes grew big and opened to let out a very loud scream, but I covered just in time before anyone got suspicious of us.

"ASFCAGJGXAHWDNJL!!" 

She shouted under my grasp.

"Yumi-ssi! Please calm down! People might recognize me." I hissed.

"GDHBC SLAAKSNK OKK!!"

Why the hell is she acting this way? Perhaps, she did not recognize me?

I tilted my face up and looked into her eyes.

Her eyebrows furrowed together the moment she saw my face.

"It's Kyuhyun, Yumi-ssi!"

After staring at me for a few seconds, she finally calmed down and sighed out of relief.

I let go of and gave out a sigh of relief as well.

She breath heavily and sat back on her seat, looking like she just ran a few miles or something. She looked really nervous a while ago.

Finally, she turned to face me again.

"K-kyuhyun-ssi, why didn't you just approach me a while ago? I thought you were trying to me or something." she whispered while making a face.

I couldn't help but chuckle at her adorable reaction.

"W-what? It's not funny you know! You kept following me since I left the restaurant and I actually thought you were a stalker or something." she pouted.

So she did notice me. 

Aish, Kyuhyun you fool. I mentally face palmed myself.

"Well, I didn't know how to approach you, so I decided to follow you instead." I casually shrugged.

She sighed.

"Whatever, at least it wasn't one of those stalkers anymore."

"Stalkers?" 

"It may not seem like it, but I actually have a lot of stalkers you know. I don't even know why. I'm not pretty or anything."

Oh sure you are. Guess I wasn't the only one put under her spell.

I couldn't help myself from looking at her face.

Her eyes were glistening under the lights, making it a tint of light brown at the moment,  her skin was very fair and glowing, especially from this distance, her lips were pink and pure, almost calling me out to kiss it, her eyelashes were long and naturally curled, just simply perfection.

Everything about her was loveable.

Everything about her was perfect.

She turned to look at me, and it was too late to look away now.

I decided to keep my eye contact to her.

I felt my face flush at the moment which felt like forever.

She was the first one to clear .

"W-why, Kyuhyun-ssi? Is there something on my face?" she innocently blinked and touched her face softly with her delicate fingers.

God knows how much I want to cup her face and kiss her pure lips right now.

But, I can't. I can't do something like that to her.

"Nothing. I just..you're really beautiful." 

the words escaped my mouth before I could even stop them.

Her eyes looked like they were about to pop out of its sockets, and her face started to flush different shades of red.

"I-I-I mean, have you considered of being a celebrity? You know, auditioning for the entertainment companies here? I bet you would pass SM." I said as I looked out the window of the bus.

"O-oh. I haven't thought about it. And I still want to finish college so, I guess I'm not planning to try that field." 

"Oh, okay."

A few awkward, finger-cringing seconds passed by, and I finally spoke again.

"So, since when did you become an ELF?"

Her eyes immediately lit up upon hearing the question and there she started to tell me her story as an ELF.

Before I knew it, we were talking to each other casually for the whole bus ride.

"And you know my some of my friends actually saw the light stick thrown at you and they were all like, 'No way! You were the one who hurt our Kyu oppa!??'"

"Really? Hahaha!"

The bus soon halted and the rear exit opened.

"Come on, Kyuhyun-ssi!" she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the bus.

The touch of her delicate hand lingered on me even if it was just for two seconds. I couldn't help but feel giddy inside, I actually felt my heart do a few cartwheels and jumping jacks at the thought of her touch.

She then continued telling me her fangirl stories, and how she was so in love with Siwon hyung. Well that part, I actually didn't want to listen, but I decided to since her voice felt like lullaby to my ears.

"We're here!" she stopped in front of a small apartment. 

"Oh, so this is your house?"

she nodded.

"Oh okay, I guess I'll have to go now. Just text me if you can, or if you need anything. I just texted you my number. Goodnight, take care." I bowed and waved goodbye.

"Arasso, goodnight! take care too, Kyuhyun-ssi!" she waved and went inside the gate.

I started to walk away, and I actually didn't feel the cold breeze anymore, as this time, only warmth filled my whole body, especially my heart.

I was smiling and grinning like crazy in the bus, when my phone suddenly vibrated.

I opened the text message, and slowly read it:

"Kyuhyun-ssi! I can't believe I actually forgot to thank you for bringing me home! Thank you, Kyuhyun-ssi! ^^ Take care, okay? Goodnight!"

There's no need to thank me, Yumi-ssi. I should be the one to thank you.

Thank you for letting me bring you home.

Thank you for telling me your stories.

Thank you for being so friendly and loveable.

Thank you for being my fate.

Goodnight Yumi-ssi, sleep well, okay?

I smiled as my heartbeat pound on my eardrums, spreading wildfire in my chest, warming my shivering body.
