[10 Years Later]

[A/N: I haven't finished Re-Call so forgive me for making up how Ya Se and Wu Xiong ended up :)]

Where was Wang Ya Se after 10 years? He did not graduate from Ba Le High School so where was he now?

"Ya Se!" Wu Xiong called as greeted her husband who had just returned from work. Wu Xiong and Ya Se were married now and they lived together, happily. The now Master of the Tu Long Bang had returned to Zhong Ji Yi Ban as their form teacher and had just come home.

"Xiao Xiong!" He exclaimed with a grin, putting some shopping bags down on the sofa. He gave her a quick kiss before he put his arm around her, "How's our little baby?" he asked with a smile.
Wu Xiong returned his smile before a bump that had grown. "Our little one has been kicking alot lately," she chuckled, "Maybe she's excited out Yu Yan and Xiao Yu returning."

"Oh, that's right," Ya Se exclaimed, picking up the bags he had put down, "I bought them some gifts," he explained as he presented them to his wife.
Wu Xiong giggled as she sat down. "Ya Se, you've always been the president of the Xiao Yu x Yu Yan fanclub, haven't you?" she commented as she looked at all the gifts he had bought.
"Of course!" he grinned, "Yu Yan is my best friend and she's finally coming home in ten years! It's been such a long time since us three brothers have gotten together so we must treasure it deeply." He then put the gifts back into the bag before continuing, "Yu Yan and Xiao Yu have waited for this day for years, we have to make their reunion a day to remember."
Wu Xiong smiled and nodded in agreement, "It's a shame that everyone can't come. Everyone else in our class has gone their separate ways," she spoke with a hint of sadness in her voice.

"We'll celebrate for them," Ya Se told her as he held her hand. The two then stared at each other with happy smiles. 

Now that we've seen Ya Se and Wu Xiong, where is Wang Da Dong?

Well, Wang Da Dong had stayed with Jiu Wu in the iron dimension instead of returning to the gold dimension with his brothers after the battle against the demons from Mojie during the Moon Viewing Festival. He had decided to take up his offer of becoming a dimensional guard and working with the Tie Ke Imperial Army. However, at one point he was ordered to return to Zhong Ji Yi Ban to investigate the disruption in the KO Charts and the spread of the Hell Vision drugs. As a result, he had gone undercover as a student and returned to Zhong Ji Yi Ban. There, he reunited with Cai Yun Han who became his teacher and he had also met Lei Ting, a girl whom he had fallen in love with and was now dating.

After returning from the Great Battle in the iron dimension, Da Dong got stuck into preparing his sister's party.

"Hey, Wang Da Dong!" Lei Ting spoke up as she helped him and his parents decorate their house, "Why does the cake look like a fish?" she asked as she stared weirdly at the big fish cake.
Da Dong, who was sticking balloons to the walls, turned to her, "It's because my sister is obsessed with fish," he laughed.
Lei Ting looked around the room. The balloons all had cartoon fish on them, the banner that said 'Welcome Home Yu Yan!' was decorated with sparkly fish and all the treats and desserts Wang Mama had made all looked like fish.

She sweat dropped, "You and your sister really are siblings, aren't you?" she said, "You're both weird."

Da Dong laughed again, "Thank you for helping us out today, Lei Ting." He smiled warmly at her.
Lei Ting felt a blush creep up onto her cheeks because of his deep and loving gaze. Quickly, she let go of a balloon she had blown up in front of his face and then watched him struggle around with the flying balloon. She laughed at him and then smiled, "It's no problem. I know how much Yu Yan Jie means to you and your friends." She then turned her back to him and mumbled shyly, "And maybe one day we'll become sisters." 

Da Dong went closer to her, confused, "What did you say just now? I didn't hear," he admitted.
Lei Ting turned around and stuck her tongue out at him, "Nothing," she grinned and then rushed into the kitchen to help Wang Mama.

He chuckled to himself as he watched her leave, One day I will propose to you, Lei Ting, he thought.

Now where was Ding Xiao Yu? Surely he would be with Da Dong helping him decorate their house, right?

"You're freaking out!" Tian Mo Xing (Played by Emma Wu), Xiao Yu's teammate, exclaimed.

When Xiao Yu returned from the battle in Mojie, Jiu Wu had given him an offer to study at the Ancient Tomb Hospital and train to become a military doctor. Jiu Wu had seen a lot of potential in his alternate counterpart and didn't want him to waste it. He had told him that the course would last for ten years and would be suitable for him as it would keep him busy. Xiao Yu had agreed straight away because he wanted to be someone Yu Yan could be proud of when they reunited. He wanted to fill his time with hardwork so that's what he did. As he trained, he had met Tian Mo Xing who became his good friend and teammate when going out onto the front lines.

Xiao Yu stared at himself in the mirror and kept fiddling with his clothes, nervously. "I'm really nervous," he admitted as he touched his hair.
Tian Mo Xing rolled her eyes at her friend, "You've been fussing around in front of the mirror for 15 minutes already. You look fine, Xiao Yu!" she laughed at him.
Xiao Yu sighed and then turned around, touching all his pockets now. He frowned, "Where is it?" he asked her quickly, searching all his pockets frantically, "Did I lose it?"

Tian Mo Xing just folded her arms over her chest and watched her very nervous friend turn into a mess. Inside her mind she was laughing at him. Ding Xiao Yu was still a relatively quiet and calm person who didn't panic as he was doing now so the girl wanted to treasure this rare moment and just enjoy his anxiety.

She watched him run around the room, turning everything upside down and looking in every drawer and hole. "Tian Mo Xing, I can't find it!" he exclaimed, "How could I have lost such a precious item?"
Tian Mo Xing then smiled and brought out a small black box from her pocket and tapped her friend's shoulder with it. Instantly, Xiao Yu turned around and he released a deep and long sigh of relief. "Thank you," he said, taking the box and carefully tucking it into his pocket.
Tian Mo Xing giggled, "Come on, let's get going. We mustn't keep Jiang Yu Yan waiting," she told him as she walked out of the room.
Confidently and firmly, Xiao Yu nodded and followed after her.

We've seen what Ya Se is doing after ten years and also Da Dong and Xiao Yu. Now it's time to see where our main protagonist, Jiang Yu Yan, is after ten years.

"You look amazing!" Ella gushed as she did some touch ups on Yu Yan's now long and wavy hair.
Yu Yan stared at her reflection in the mirror, "...Really? You're not just being nice, right?" she asked and Selina nodded.
"You really do look beautiful," Selina reassured her, "When Xiao Yu sees you, he will be stunned."
"What if he doesn't like me anymore?" she asked, nervously.
"Why wouldn't he?" Ella asked.
"It's been 10 years!" Yu Yan replied before frowning at her reflection.
Selina smiled at her, "I can guarantee that he still loves you. After all, he has been sending letters to you frequently," she replied earning a sigh from Yu Yan.

Yu Yan continued to stare at herself in the mirror. She had grown into a beautiful young woman and she really couldn't believe her eyes. Ten years had passed so quickly and now she was going to return to her beloved Ding Xiao Yu. Just thinking about him made her warm and bubbly on the inside. She couldn't help but smile.

"Aww, our little Yu Yan will leave us now," Ella pouted.
Yu Yan scoffed, "Where am I going that you can't?"
"Into the arms of a lover," Selina replied dreamily.
Yu Yan rolled her eyes and turned around to look at her good friends, "Ella, you're already married to Hong Guang Ge! And Selina, you already have a child! What lover don't the two of you have?" she questioned, earning a laugh from her friends.

Selina smiled and put a hand on Yu Yan's shoulder, "Okay, maybe we just miss the fresh and young love you are still experiencing," she replied.
Yu Yan rolled her eyes, "Atleast you've been able to be with your lovers."
"And you have that chance now!" Ella beamed, "Come on, let's go!"

Yu Yan nodded and the three left the room.

"Welcome back, Yu Yan!" Everyone cheered as they pulled party poppers and showered Yu Yan in confetti the moment she entered the house.

Yu Yan stood at the doorway of her adoptive parents' house and she smiled when she saw all her friends. She saw Da Dong, Ya Se, Wu Xiong, Yun Han, her parents and her friends. Lei Ke Si and Tian Hong Guang were also there to pay Yu Yan a special visit.

Instantly, Yu Yan gasped and she covered as her eyes began to water. She blinked several times and just stared at everyone.

"Aww, she's about to cry," Ya Se chuckled as he walked over to her.
Da Dong went over as well and hugged her tightly with a smile. "Welcome home, Yu Yan," they both said.
Yu Yan smiled as her tears of happiness began to fall. Once she pulled away from him, she looked at all the people there, "I've missed you all," she confessed as she went over to hug her parents.

Wang Mama smiled and her head, "You're so beautiful," she murmured and Yu Yan thanked her for her compliment. She then turned around, "Where's Xiao Yu?" she asked as she tip toed to see if he was at the back.

"He..." Wu Xiong began nervously, "He's not here at the moment."
Yu Yan's face fell, Doesn't he love me anymore?
As if reading her mind, Ya Se put his hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry Yu Yan, he will definitely be here," he reassured her. He smiled at her and Yu Yan could only sigh and return his smile with her own faint one.

After that, Yu Yan talked to everyone and they all caught up with each other. They shared stories from their highschool days as well new news such as Wu Xiong's pregnancy.

"So you're my brother's girlfriend?" Yu Yan asked Lei Ting.
Lei Ting only nodded as she started wondering whether or not she had given Yu Yan a good impression of herself.
Yu Yan then broke into a smile and leaned into her ear, "If that golden monkey does anything to you just let me know, okay?" she whispered and Lei Ting laughed.
"Golden Monkey?" she repeated and Yu Yan nodded before pulling out a stuffed monkey toy with blonde hair.
She called out to her brother, "Dong Ge, catch!" She then threw it to him and Da Dong turned around to catch it.
"Oh wow, Yu Yan!" he exclaimed, "It looks so much like me!"
Both Yu Yan and Lei Ting rolled their eyes and laughed while Da Dong fangirled over the toy.

As everyone continued to talk, Tian Mo Xing quietly slipped into the house alone. Ya Se saw her and he hurried over to her, "Tian Mo Xing," he called out to her before whispering, "Where is Xiao Yu?"
Tian Mo Xing smiled, "He's here and he's been dying to see Yu Yan," she giggled.
"Then why has he not come in yet?" he questioned, puzzled.
"He's got a surprise for her but he's too nervous to come in," she laughed which made Ya Se click his tongue in disapproval.
"How old is that boy? Yu Yan has waited long enough for him!" he exclaimed, crossing his arms over his chest.
The woman before him didn't reply and instead remained smiling.

Suddenly the lights turned off and everyone was surrounded by darkness.

Yu Yan's eyes widened as she stood up quickly.
"What's going on?" Yun Han spoke.
"Ah, let me go look for the light switch," Wang Mama replied as she felt around the wall for the switch. When she found it, she turned the lights back on, revealing a new figure standing at the doorway.

Taken over by shock, Yu Yan gasped and froze in her spot. Ding Xiao Yu stood there with a smile and holding a bouquet of beautiful roses. "Little... F-Fish..." she whispered, being washed over by joy. Yu Yan's lips began quivering and she broke out into tears as she ran up to him and hugged him.
Xiao Yu smiled as he hugged back, "Welcome back, Yu Yan," he said with a smile, handing her the roses.
Yu Yan accepted the flowers and just gazed into the eyes of the man whom she longed to see the most. Her heart was pounding and all she wanted to do was just cry. Xiao Yu smiled as he gently wiped away her tears.

"Yu Yan," he began in a soft voice, "I have to tell you something really important."
Yu Yan bit her lip as she began to feel worried. What if he wants to break up with me? she thought and she swallowed a lump that was already forming in .
"What... is it?" she asked in a stammering voice.
Xiao took in a deep breath as he felt not only Yu Yan staring at him, but everyone in the room. He fumbled around with his pocket nervously, What if I mess up? he wondered as he slowly brought out a small black box.

Immediately, Wu Xiong gasped and grabbed onto Ya Se's arm in excitement.

Xiao Yu got down on one knee and opened up the small box, revealing a beautiful diamond ring. Selina and Ella grabbed onto each other, internally squealing.

"Yu Yan, I don't want us to be apart anymore," Xiao Yu started as he gazed into her orbs, "So will you be willing to stay by my side for the rest of our lives and be my wife?" he asked, hopefully. He held his breath as he waited for her answer.
Yu Yan's cheeks became tinted in pink and she pressed her lips into a tight line, suppressing a big smile. "Who wants to be your wife..." she questioned in a mumble causing everyone's excited faces to fall, including Xiao Yu's. He stared up at her, speechless. She then broke out into a smile, "...except me?" she finished and Da Dong released a sigh of relief. 

Xiao Yu blinked several times, "H-Huh...?" he stuttered quietly.
"Of course I want to be your wife, Little Fish!" she exclaimed as she laughed.
Xiao Yu's lips curled into a smile and he quickly stood up and slid the ring onto her finger. "Thank you," he said as he pulled her into a tight embrace.

"Kiss!" Ya Se exclaimed and he began clapping his hands as he chanted "Kiss!" over and over again. Everyone immediately copied his actions and Xiao Yu and Yu Yan blushed as they broke their embrace. They stared into each others eyes with happiness and joy. Within seconds, Xiao Yu kissed her on the lips and the two shared a deep and long kiss whilst they were showered in cheers.

[A Few Months Later]

Ding Xiao Yu was standing at the altar for real this time. He was dressed in an expensive suit and his hair was styled - he was quite the dashing and handsome young man. Even though this scene had played out thousands of times in his dreams, he was still as nervous as ever.

Ya Se, Xiao Yu's best man, looked over at Lei Ting who was playing a melodious tune on the piano. He smiled before he spoke up and looked at all the people sitting before him.

"Shakespeare said: 'If music be the food of love, play on.'"

Da Dong sniggered before sending Xiao Yu a telepathic message, "Is that all Narcissist is going to say?"
Xiao Yu just smiled to himself to avoid laughing at his Shakespeare obsessed friend.

Lei Ting then changed her melody to introduce Yu Yan who entered with her bridesmaids following behind her. The moment Xiao Yu laid eyes on his soon to be wife, he was blown away by her beauty. Yu Yan was absolutely stunning that day and Xiao Yu would never forget that. He couldn't help but smile from ear to ear when he saw her walking towards him and his brothers only smiled to mask their chuckles.

When Yu Yan reached him, she smiled at him and he returned it.
"You look beautiful," Xiao Yu told her through telepathy.
She smirked, "I know I do, handsome fish," she responded which caused him to chuckle.

The ceremony went on peacefully but too slowly for the couple who were eager to get married. As soon as they exchanged rings, Xiao Yu kissed Yu Yan before he was even told to do so which made his brothers laugh. Everyone there applauded as they watched the two share a loving kiss.

And that was it. That was the end of one chapter in the lives of Ding Xiao Yu and Jiang Yu Yan, and the opening of a brand new one. Now that they were finally together after years of separation, it was time for them to walk down the journey of life together, hand-in-hand, and go on all sorts of adventures together.

It really was a happy ever after for them.
