As winter drew closer, sunset came earlier and now in the sky of Taipei, hung a hue of orange and pink tints. Da Dong and his brothers were heading to Duan Chang Ren's stall as they usually did every day. But unbeknownst to them, today would be different.

"Aiyo, this whole situation with Liang Zhi and Xia Ba is really frustrating," Da Dong huffed with a deep sigh, "I don't know what to do."
"It would've been easy to solve if we had our yi neng," Ya Se replied, "We could have just beaten up the attacker. But we're here, powerless not being able to do anything."
Da Dong groaned, running his hand through his locks, feeling exasperated. "We can't just let this go, we have to show everyone that Zhong Ji Yi Ban's not afraid to retaliate," he said, "I thought we could finally get some peace after we defeated Hei Long but now we have another problem on our hands!"
"Should we take up what Jiang Yu Yan said earlier?" Ya Se wondered, "She did make a good point."
"But what if our lack of action leads to more attacks? What if the attacker thinks we're easy to bully?" Da Dong asked, restlessly.

Ya Se thought for a while, "What if we're not the ones to fight them? It's only the three of us in Zhong Ji Yi Ban who have lost our battle points, we still have a whole class of KO fighters." he began, still in thought.
"Are you suggesting we get someone else in Zhong Ji Yi Ban to fight for us, like Yun Han?" Xiao Yu asked.
"Exactly," Ya Se snapped his fingers, "But we can't be impulsive about this. Our situation is dangerous and we don't know who our attacker is, it could be anyone."
"And the person we're dealing with has the ability to steal yi neng," Xiao Yu pointed out, "So it's dangerous to send out Yun Han or anyone else."
"But Wu Xiong doesn't have yi neng so she has nothing to lose," Da Dong slowly brought up.
Immediately, Ya Se responded with a 'No', "It's too dangerous for her alone, I won't allow her to do such a thing," he continued.
"We should get Duan Chang Ren's opinion," Xiao Yu spoke, "He might know what to do."
Wang Da Dong threw an arm around the necks of his two best friends, "Right, let's leave the worrying to Duan Chang Ren. I'm hungry."

But it wasn't their fate to reach Duan Chang Ren that day.

"Oi, oi, oi, who do we have here?" A group of teenage males came across the three friends as they took a detour through the park. The leader of the group of about 10 stepped forwards, "Wang. Da. Dong." he hummed in a sing song tone with mischief glinting in his eyes, "Long time no see, oh, mighty leader of Zhong Ji Yi Ban."

Wang Da Dong growled and stepped forward as Ya Se whispered to him, "Who are they?"
"Da Dong, try and avoid any interaction. They look like trouble." Xiao Yu informed him quietly.

"Remember me, Wang Da Dong? Remember us?" the male asked taking steps towards him, "Remember when you beat us up with your nose in the air? Remember when you disgraced us? Remember when you tarnished our reputation? Remember when you sent us to hospital for a whole week?"
"Of course I remember such filthy and despicable scum that think it's cool to trash the stall of a hardworking mother and her child. [A/N: he's talking about the incident where he saved zhan and his mother]" Da Dong hissed as the memory brewed anger within him, "Hooligans like you deserve to be fed to the dogs."

"Oh? It's good you remember us, because now-" The leader of the gang slammed his fist into Da Dong's face, "-you won't forget us."
Da Dong stumbled backwards, clutching his now throbbing jaw, "You think you can beat me and get your revenge?" he laughed bitterly, almost amused.
Xiao Yu rushed over to his friend, "Da Dong, let's go. Let's not waste our time on them."
"Do I think I can?" the male repeated cockily, "I know I can. What can a ma gua like you do to us now?" he laughed, "Get them boys!"

The eyes of the trio widened in shock, if they didn't fight back then it would only prove the rumours to be true - they couldn't let that happen. Da Dong thought for a moment as he watched the opposition head towards him, he wondered: how many people could he beat up as a ma gua? He certainly was not weak and helpless as a ma gua, he wasn't always dependent on his yi neng when it came to brawls so he should be able to beat up a few of them at least, right? He then thought back to the incident where he first encountered them - he didn't need to use his battle points to send them running with their tails between their legs, defeating them should be a piece of cake.

"Come on then," Da Dong dared, before bursting out, "PARTY TIME!" he ran head first into the first few of them and began throwing his fists around. Ya Se and Xiao Yu followed his lead. It was 3 against 11; normally they could defeat them all with no trouble alone. But together, Da Dong, Ya Se and Xiao Yu couldn't beat them all up without sustaining bloody injuries. The students of Blue Pickle High [A/N: i just made the school name up idk what school they go to] used yi neng whereas they could only use their bare fists. Their lack of energy and physical strength was seen through their moves and the leader of the gang laughed menacingly as he sent Xiao Yu staggering backwards into Ya Se, "So it's true? You three really have become ma guas!"

Blood trickled down Da Dong chin as he pulled out his dragon tattooed pan, "Come at me with all you've got if you really believe that," he threatened, bluffing.
Ya Se also brought out his sword in stone whereas Xiao Yu held out his left fist, though it did not glow as it usually did. The three of them were battered and bruised, tired but tenacious: even if it caused their bones to break, they would win this fight. For the sake of Zhong Ji Yi Ban's reputation and protection they didn’t care about how beaten they would become. Winning was their goal and they wouldn't stop without achieving it.

"Alright, you asked for it!" the boss exclaimed as he launched himself at the three whilst in mid air, conjuring a huge sphere of yi neng to attack with. Da Dong wasn't going to wait for impact, he was going to counter no matter what - but then suddenly, the boss was sent crashing backwards into his men.

Da Dong looked at his friends in confusion, wondering who had countered. As if reading his mind, Ya Se and Xiao Yu slowly shook their heads before seeing a figure stood with their back to them. She wore a black hoodie and grey jeans and her black hair was tied into two low pigtails. "Jiang Yu Yan," Xiao Yu breathed, surprised but thankful.

"Hey, who the hell are you?!" one of the gangsters exclaimed, "How dare you attack our leader?"
"You must have a death wish!" barked another.
Yu Yan kissed her teeth in her usual bored tone, "I'm sorry but you were blocking the path. Some people are trying to enjoy an evening stroll out in the park, you know." she spoke as she cracked her knuckles, "Excuse me whilst I dispose of some rocks on the pathway, it'll be a shame if someone-" she threw herself at the Blue Pickles, planting swift punches on their bodies, "-trips," she finished, coldly.

"She's just a girl! Get her!" the boss of the Blue Pickles choked out, swaying as he stood up.
"Oh?" Yu Yan smirked and in a matter of seconds the group of gangsters were sprawled on the ground, unconscious except the leader. Da Dong, Ya Se and Xiao Yu watched in utter astonishment as Yu Yan beat them effortlessly despite her low battle points - but she did not even use them. Coughing up blood, the leader of the Blue Pickles fell to the floor before Yu Yan slammed her foot down onto his head violently. The crushing of bones resounded through the air before he passed out in a pool of his own blood. Yu Yan then turned to leave.

"Wait!" Da Dong called out after her, "Why did you help us?" he asked.
Yu Yan turned around, "Me? Helped you? When did that happen?" she asked with a scoff, "I just happened to be walking by and they were blocking my path. There's nothing more to it. I didn't do it for you."
A grin emerged on his face, "Well whatever the reason, thanks a bunch. You saved us from a lot of trouble. You're a real man!" Da Dong gave her a thumbs up - not that she was able to see it anyway.

Ya Se and Xiao Yu sweat dropped at Da Dong's 'Man' comment.

"Thanks for staying true to your words," Xiao Yu smiled.
Yu Yan faced him with a scowl, "I told you, I wasn't helping you. If I helped you in the process then good for you," she spat before leaving.
