"We could use the Soul Collecting Melody."

"The Soul Collecting Melody?" Xiao Yu echoed, "What's that?"
"Xia Tian, you can't use the melody so casually," Gou Gou Meng Zhu spoke up, "It must only be used if it's really necessary and if that person to be revived is important."
"Isn't Yu Yan important?" Da Dong questioned, "She's one of our comrades so of course she is important!"
"But what is the Soul Collecting Melody?" Ella asked, "I've never heard of it before."

"The Soul Collecting Melody is one of the compositions of Devil Reduction Trilogy created by the Ye He Na La Family and when played, has the power to revive the dead," Xia Tian explained, "And I have no objections to playing it for you."
"Really?" Ya Se asked with a brightened face, "Such power exists?"
"It's a good thing that Wu Geng Lin wasn't aware of its existence," Hong Guang said, "If he did, I'm sure the iron dimension would have been ripped apart by him trying to find it."
"So we can revive Yu Yan right now?" Xiao Yu asked hopefully, holding onto her.
Xia Tian nodded.

"But Xia Tian," Xiu began, "It's a really dangerous process! If you lose focus or are tempted by the illusion then your soul could be away!"
"That's right so therefore isn't worth it," Gou Gou Meng Zhu added, "I don't agree to this."
"But I've played the compositions before and now as the Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren, I'm much stronger," Xia Tian retorted, "Believe in me!"

"I think it's a good idea," a new voice spoke in agreement. The group turned to see Jiu Wu standing at a distance with a smile on his face.
"Jiu Wu?" Gou Gou exclaimed, "How can you say that?"
"The three soul melodies belong to the Xia family so Xia Tian has the right to use it whenever he wants," Jiu Wu explains, "And using it to save Jiang Yu Yan can prevent future problems. If Ding Xiao Yu was to follow in Wu Geng Lin's footsteps and try to revive Jiang Yu Yan by creating clones and stealing yi neng, then that would be very problematic. It's a vicious cycle we don't want to repeat," he continued seriously.
"But Ding Xiao Yu won't have such evil intentions," Gou Gou denied.
"Wu Geng Lin used to be a good person like how Xiao Yu is today, but after losing his wife at a similar age, there's no telling with what such pain can cause a person to turn into," Jiu Wu fired back, "And if it's possible, I would like to revive her using the melody too. Not only will my alternate be happy but we can have a S.H.E concert in the iron dimension!" he added excitedly, clasping his hands together dreamily.

Selina and Ella sweat dropped. "Not this again," Selina muttered.
"He would really go to such lengths for us to hold a concert for him, huh?" Ella giggled.

"Jiu Wu! Stop being so childish! I thought you would be more mature but I guess I was wrong!" Gou Gou yelled, beginning to feel irritated by the lack of support he was facing.
Jiu Wu rolled his eyes and shoved a bone into the dog's mouth, "Oh shut it, you old dog," he replied. His actions made everyone gasp. Jiu Wu then shrugged and put a hand on the Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren's shoulder, "I give you permission to use the Soul Collecting Melody but you have to be absolutely sure that you want to risk your life for our Gold Dimension friends," he said and Xia Tian nodded confidently.

"No, let me do it," Xiao Yu announced as he stood up with Yu Yan in his arms. "It's not right to let you risk your life, Xia Tian. You might be the Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren but this isn't your matter. It's mine," Xiao Yu told him, "I don't want you to risk your life because of me. And besides, right now I have more battle points than you so I have a higher chance of success."
"But you're battle points are slowly returning to your original index," Xia Tian argued, "You'll get weaker as you play it and that's not safe."
Xiao Yu exhaled and then looked him in the eye, "I appreciate your concern but I want to do this."

"Wait," Xiu spoke, "There's a risk you must know about before you decide to play it."
"Another risk?" Ya Se asked and Xiu nodded.
"If it succeeds, there is a chance that Jiang Yu Yan will lose her memories," Xiu confessed, causing Xiao Yu's eyes to widen.
"So she won't remember anything between us?" Da Dong inquired and Xia Tian sighed with a nod.
Xiao Yu clenched his fist, "I don't care," he replied, "As long as she lives well then I will be happy."
"And we can always befriend her again," Ya Se pointed out.
Xia Tian smiled at their optimism, "Then Ding Xiao Yu, I will support you while you play," he said and Xiao Yu nodded.

"We should get Jiang Yu Yan to the hospital to stitch up her wounds or it won't work at all," Jiu Wu said and Xiao Yu nodded, "I'd say it's best to take her to the Ancient Tomb Hospital in the iron dimension just to ensure her recovery."

Yu Yan's body rested on a hospital bed, all stitched up and connected to a life support machine. At her bedside stood Xia Tian with his guitar and Xiao Yu with a small piano. As Xiao Yu slowly opened up the Soul Collecting Melody and placed it on the stand, Xia Tian looked at him seriously. "If you need me to take over during the process then just look at me and I'll pick it up straight away," he told him, "You have to be extremely focused; don't let your mind wander, okay?"
Xiao Yu nodded, determined, "Understood," he replied with a small smile.

Ding Xiao Yu looked over at Jiang Yu Yan once more before he took in a deep breath. When he exhaled out all the air, he confidently placed his fingers across the keys on the piano. He then started to play and the room became lit up by his and Xia Tian's golden yi neng.

Wait for me, Yu Yan.

A soft melody played, causing Yu Yan's heart to awaken. Her eyes fluttered open only to find herself laying down in a white space with no ground or walls - she was just floating in a white space.

She blinked in confusion and peered around. "Where am I?" she mumbled, becoming freaked out by the fact that she was floating. Suddenly her ears picked up the melody of a familiar song. "Yi Ge Ren Liu Lang," she muttered naturally and then her eyes widened. 'How do I know what it's called?' she asked herself, 'Why does it feel so familiar?'

Yu Yan then stood up and began walking around but she didn't really know if she was even moving as she was surrounded by just blinding light. Because of this, fear began creeping into her heart but as she became more afraid, that all so familiar song got louder and louder, instantly comforting her. "What's that sound coming from?" she spoke, "What am I doing here?" Her heart began beating faster as she couldn't recall anything: not her name, where she was from or any memories.

"Don't be afraid."

Quickly, she turned around to see a beautiful woman with long brown hair smiling at her.

"Who are you?" Yu Yan stuttered.

The woman's face softened into a deeper and warmer smile, "I am Jiang Yu Er," she replied, "And you are Jiang Yu Yan," she told her with the gentlest voice.
"I don't remember anything at all," Yu Yan admitted before a small and unsure smile broke out onto her face, "But whenever I start to get scared, this song starts to play and I feel at ease," she added.
Yu Er continued to smile at her and then she held out her hand, "Do you want to remember?"
She looked down at the woman's hand. She felt overwhelmed by her warmth and suddenly felt attached to this woman whom she did not know. "Will I remember if I take your hand?" Yu Yan asked.
"You will go back home," Yu Er answered, "Or you can stay here with me."
"Where is home?" Yu Yan inquired, turning around in the white space.
"Where he is," Yu Er said as she stepped forwards, "And he's waiting for you. They all are."
"They?" Yu Yan repeated, suddenly jerking away from her.

"Don't be scared," Yu Er told her, "That song will always be with you wherever you go, he will be there."
"Who is he?"
"Take my hand and you will see. Be brave, my girl," Yu Er encouraged her, slowly stepping closer to her.
Hesitating, Yu Yan bit her lip and stared at her hand, only to see a pretty pink bracelet hanging around her wrist. Seeing it, she felt a surge of new found courage and she gave her hand to Yu Er. As soon as their hands connected, the white light cleared away.



Yu Yan's eyes opened slowly only to have bright lights shining into her orbs. She immediately shut her eyes again before opening them again. When her vision cleared, she slowly sat up to find herself in a hospital room. The first person she saw was a boy who stood at her bedside with a piano. As soon as their eyes met, his sparkled with joy and hers continuously fluttered as she tried to blink back her tears. Her memories were pouring into her heart, drying up the remaining drops of melted ice around her heart and giving birth to a new sun of happiness in her life.

Within seconds, Ding Xiao Yu had his arms wrapped around her. "It worked," he whispered, "You're back," he breathed, "Yu Yan, you're really back. Welcome back," he smiled through his glassy eyes. Yu Yan closed her eyes with a smile and then hugged the boy back, resting her head on his shoulder. "I'm home," she whispered to him, "I home, Little Fish," she repeated, "And I'm here to stay," she added.

Xia Tian couldn't help but smile at the happy sight before him. He was glad everything had worked out and that everything went smoothly - everyone was happy now. Not only was peace restored in both the Iron and Gold dimensions, but now everyone was also happy. He cast a glance over at them again before deciding to leave the room to inform Wang Da Dong and Wang Ya Se who were waiting outside with Jiu Wu Meng Zhu.

Xiao Yu broke their hug and couldn't help but just wear a perpetual smile. But then suddenly his grin turned upside down and his tears began to fall, "I was so scared," he confessed in a quivering voice, "I was so scared of losing you again," he told her as he stared deep into her eyes.
Yu Yan scoffed and used her hand to gently wipe his tears away, "Stop being a baby," she replied, "Who am I? I'm Jiang Yu Yan, you won't be able to lose me even if you tried!" she laughed at him, poking the corner of his lips and pushing them upwards to turn his frown back into a smile. Xiao Yu then smiled genuinely at her and then pinched her cheeks. "Don't make me worry like that again," he ordered her in a serious tone but with a playful expression.
She just rolled her eyes and then nodded.

"Hello, hello~!"

The two turned around to see Da Dong and Ya Se run into the room with bright smiles on their faces. "Yu Yaaaaan~!" Da Dong exclaimed jumping onto her bed and hugging her and pushing Xiao Yu away in the process, "I missed you!" he exclaimed.
"Hey! Egomaniac, she's still injured! Be gentle!" Ya Se scolded before Yu Yan smirked and yelled loudly.
"OOOOWWW!" she exclaimed, "AAAAGH IT HURTS!!" she cried out in exaggeration and clutched her chest in pain.
"Yu Yan!" Da Dong gasped, "I'll get a doctor!" As he ran off, the remaining three just laughed at him.
Ya Se smiled and sat down at her bedside before ruffling her hair. "I'm relieved that you're okay now and that we haven't lost you," he said with a smile.
"Aww, King Arthur was worried about me," Yu Yan teased as she laughed.

"I don't want to rain down on your parade, but..."

Selina walked into the room with Gou Gou Meng Zhu with Da Dong following behind silently.

"But what?" Xiao Yu questioned.
"Jiang Yu Yan is not from our dimension so cannot permanently live in the gold dimension legally or she will disrupt the dimension flow," Selina explained.
Ya Se immediately stood up, annoyed. "That's not fair at all!" he barked, "Xiao Yu and Yu Yan are finally able to be together after nearly 100 chapters and you're trying to break them up again?" he spat in disbelief.
Xiao Yu tensed up and held onto Yu Yan's hand tightly.
"I know how you feel," Selina replied sadly, "But I did not make the world like this. Life is cruel sometimes."
Xiao Yu clenched his teeth.

"I can make an exception, however," Gou Gou Meng Zhu announced with a smile.
"Then what was the point in scaring us?!" Yu Yan hissed, kissing her teeth.
"I can only make this exception because your gold dimension alternate is deceased," Gou Gou explained, "But you will need a guardian to be responsible for you."

"We'll adopt her," a new voice came in.

"Mum?" Da Dong blurted out in shock.
Wang Mama and Wang Papa walked into the hospital wearing smiles, "How can we bear to part from our dear, Yu Yan?" Wang Mama questioned, walking over to Yu Yan and softly her head.
"If you don't mind being our daughter, then we will happily adopt you," Wang Papa added as he turned to Yu Yan.
Instantly, Yu Yan cracked a smile. "I'd love to," she replied before shyly nodding politely, "Thank you."
Before anyone could say anything, Da Dong burst out into a loud cheer.

"YAAAAY!" He flung his arms into the air before hugging her, "Yu Yan, we'll be real brothers now!" he exclaimed, eagerly.
"Stupid golden monkey," Yu Yan muttered over her smile before pushing him away.
Da Dong just laughed and stuck out his tongue at Wang Ya Se, "Hey Narcissist! When Xiao Yu and Yu Yan get married we'll be related, except you!" he laughed.
"Hey!" Ya Se retorted, "Our brotherly bond is thicker than blood!"
"Hey! Who's getting married to that fish?" Yu Yan spat, blushing.
"Ya Se Wang, if you want to all be family, then you could marry Wang Da Dong and then that would solve the problem," Selina suggested.
"No way!" Ya Se burst out, "I want to marry Wu Xiong!"
"You'd me more successful in marrying Da Dong than Wu Xiong because of Yun Han," Xiao Yu commented, jokingly.
"Xiao Yu!" Ya Se cried.

As everyone laughed at the five friends present, Gou Gou cleared his throat, diverting their attention.

"I know that now is a time of celebration and joy but I still have to let you know that Ding Xiao Yu and Jiang Yu Yan separating is inevitable," he informed them.
Everyone's face fell and Selina just sighed, knowing what he was about to say.

"Jiang Yu Yan still has to be punished for her crimes."
