Yu Yan's eyes fluttered open only to be blinded by a bright white light, causing her eyes to squeeze shut. After a moment, she opened them again. When the bright light faded, Yu Yan saw blurred shapes of different colours moving and she felt light headed by their sudden movements. She was overwhelmed by the bursts of colours and she blinked several times - she couldn't believe that she could now see more than black. When her vision cleared, she could make out the faces of lots of people whom she didn't recognise.

"Yu Yan,"

Yu Yan heard Ya Se's voice and looked to her side to see a boy sitting beside her on his knees. He saw his worried face and she just stared at him. "Ya...Se?" she whispered, reaching out and touching his face, amazed.
"Can you see me?" he asked her as a smile bloomed onto her face.
She nodded, "I can see you," she replied, "I can see again!" she exclaimed, excitedly.

"Crap! I can't feel a pulse!" Lei Ke Si cried out his skin turned pale due to fear. Immediately, Yu Yan's happiness became short lived as her heart froze.

Instantly, she along with Da Dong and Ya Se stood up, feeling anger running through their veins. Tears were already pooling in Yu Yan's eyes and she clenched her fist as she glared at her father. "Ya Se, Da Dong, get ready to beat my father to a pulp," she hissed as she displayed her battle points that exceeded a million.
Ya Se and Da Dong smirked to mask their pain. "Wait for us, Xiao Yu," Da Dong whispered as he held out his pan.

Wu Geng Lin laughed, "That boy had no chance of surviving the moment he confronted me," he explained, "And you won't either!"
The four of them then clashed. "Time to fly," Wu Geng Lin hissed before the three of them crashed into the wall, screaming.
"Help them!" Selina ordered and then everyone powered their yi neng towards the three.

Yu Yan clutched the hole in her chest and collapsed onto one knee. It hurts, she thought.
"Yu Yan!" Da Dong exclaimed, "Narcissist and I will handle this guy! Stay back!"
Reluctantly, she nodded before her father suddenly appeared by her side.

"You will die if you continue to fight against me," he spat before Yu Yan cut him off.
"Then let me!" she cried out, "You've never cared before anyway! I'm going to die anyway - that's what you always say. You don’t even value human life – you only care about Jiang Yu Er!"
"Get away from her!" Ya Se exclaimed, striking him with his sword only to be struck by the older man. Wu Geng Lin picked him up from the floor, holding him by his throat. When Ya Se started to choke and cough, Yu Yan barked angrily, "Let him go!"
"Perform the life force transfer now!" Wu Geng Lin thundered, tightening his grip around Ya Se's neck, "Or say goodbye to another precious friend of yours!"
"Y-Yu...Y-yan.. don't worry...about m-me...!" Ya Se stuttered.

Yu Yan huffed and gritted her teeth. Ignoring all her physical pain, she forced herself to stand up. "You want a life force transfer, Father?" she questioned with eyes hard as stone, "Then I'll do one!" she cried.
"Yu Yan, no!" Da Dong called out but Yu Yan ignored him.
Wu Geng Lin smirked, "I've always known you would turn to my side eventually."
Yu Yan took in a deep breath before using her super speed to run over to... Xiao Yu.
"What are you doing?!" her father exclaimed.

"Xiao Yu? Come on, don't scare us," Lei Ke Si exclaimed as he continued to shake Xiao Yu's lifeless body.
"Lei Ke Si, move aside," Yu Yan said as she fell onto her knees beside them. Her rush of adrenaline had disappeared and now her body was filled with excruciating pain from her wounds. With the remaining strength in her body, she slapped Xiao Yu across the face, unable to hold back her tears. "Didn't you promise to always stay by my side?" she questioned, "Why are you breaking your promise?!" she shrieked as her tears flood her eyes and poured down the sides of her face.

"I know what you’re thinking of doing," her father yelled, "But it won't work! Don't waste all the yi neng I've collected on him!"
He stepped forwards to send an attack towards her but then suddenly there was a blinding flash of light.

Da Dong's eyes widened as he fell onto his knees, "Xia Tian...?" he breathed out in surprise.

Xia Tian blocked Wu Geng Lins attack, successfully holding him back. "You've met your match, Wu Geng Lin," he hissed as all the yi neng produced by Dong Cheng Wei and everyone else surrounded him to push his battle index up.
"Damn you, Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren!" Wu Geng Lin growled, struggling to hold himself against the Ultimate Iron Man.

Yu Yan sighed, I have to save him, she thought before determination filled her eyes. "Even if it won't work, I have to give it a try," she whispered. Taking in a deep breath, she then leaned over his body before performing the martial arts that would transfer her life force to him. The moment she placed her lips against his, she could feel herself slipping away from consciousness.

He thought it was the end of him when he saw the light disappear. He thought it would be all over. But then his eyes widened when the last spec of light began to grow in size. He then saw a hand tearing through the light and reaching out to him, pulling him out of the abyss. It happened all so fast that when he opened his eyes again, he was lying on the ground with his brothers looking down at him in worry.

He blinked several times before realising that his body was glowing with yi neng and that his battle index was surpassing a million. He looked at his glowing hand as though it was a foreign object, "What... happened?" he muttered, looking at the faces of his brothers.
"Xiao Yu... you're back," Da Dong spoke before biting his lip to push back the lump that was forming in his throat.
"Where did I go?" he asked, before sitting up only to see Yu Yan's body on the floor beside him. His eyes widened, "Yu Yan?" he called, gently shaking her shoulder. He then turned to his brothers with fear glistening in his eyes, "What... happened to her...?" he whispered.
"She..." Ya Se spoke up only to pause. He didn't finish his sentence and instead sighed sadly.

"There's no way it worked!" Wu Geng Lin yelled, "There's no way she wasted her life on him!" he barked – now he was so angry that he was on the brink of bursting.

Suddenly his words sunk in Xiao Yu's heart and he understood what happened right away. He quickly grabbed her hand, "Yu Yan!" he cried out to her, "Jiang Yu Yan! Why did you leave me?! Why did you do such a thing?!"
"Because she loves you," Ya Se muttered as he put a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Yu Yan..." Xiao Yu mumbled, "I will definitely get revenge on your father... I will defeat him with my own fists for you and my father!" He then stood up and stormed over to Wu Geng Lin who was fighting against Xia Tian and Dong Cheng Wei.

"Ding Xiao Yu, don't get closer!" Xia Tian exclaimed but Xiao Yu went closer to them with his new battle index. He looked at Xia Tian, "Xia Tian, Dong Cheng Wei, everyone... please lend me your strength!" he said through telepathy.

"Are you out of your mind?!" Selina yelled.
"He's too strong for you!" Ella added.
"Xiao Yu, don't be so reckless!" Hong Guang added.

"I want to be the one to defeat him!" Xiao Yu told them all, "Please believe in me!"

"I believe in you."

Xiao Yu turned around to see Wang Da Dong standing there. Da Dong then put his hand on his shoulder, sending him his yi neng.

"We do too," Ya Se and Lei Ke Si added, copying Da Dong's actions. Slowly, everyone then began pouring their battle points into Xiao Yu, including Xia Tian who had started to play his Iron Limitless guitar to support him. "Thank you everyone," Xiao Yu spoke with a smile before lifting up his right fist that was engulfed in such bright and intense gold yi neng.

Wu Geng Lin's eyes widened as he found himself getting weaker as Xiao Yu gained more and more battle points. "No," he whispered, "This isn't happening!" he growled.
"Oh yes it is," Xiao Yu hissed with a smirk.

"Ding Xiao Yu, let me aid you," a new voice came in.

"Gou Gou Meng Zhu?" Selina exclaimed as the dog jumped onto her shoulder and started pouring his yi neng into the chain. Because of this addition, Xiao Yu's battle points shot up even higher.

He inhaled deeply. "Yu Yan, father... this is for you!" he yelled before slamming his right fist into Wu Geng Lin's chest. Everyone watched in pure amazement as the impact sent the man flying out of the ship and into the far depths of the space between dimensions.

A smile broke out onto Xiao Yu's face but his eyes did not smile with him for it was not a victorious smile. He smiled over the pain he was feeling, physical and emotional. "It's over..." he whispered, before clutching his right arm in agony whilst everyone else cheered in relief.
"He has no chance of surviving out there," Xia Tian spoke up, "We should all leave now."
Xiu and Hong Guang walked over to the coffin in which Jiang Yu Er layed in. "We should also give her a proper burial," Xiu suggested and Hong Guang nodded in agreement.
"And... Yu Yan too..." Ella added slowly.

Xiao Yu hung his head as he walked over to Yu Yan. He sat on his knees and brought her body close to him, hugging her tightly.

Zhong Ji Yi Ban watched and their smiles fell into frowns of sadness. "Atleast... atleast her sacrifice was worth it..." Sha Jie muttered, in an attempt to be optimistic.
Da Dong put his hand on her shoulder, "Now isn't the right time to say anything," he told her in a low voice before walking over to join Xiao Yu.

Ding Xiao Yu cried silently, holding onto her hand.

"Don't cry," Xia Tian spoke as he walked over to him. Xiao Yu looked up to meet the eyes of the Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren.
"There's a way to save her," he continued, causing Xiao Yu's eyes to widen.

"Could you be talking about the-" Xiu asked.
"That's right," Xia Tian nodded, "We could use the...
