Epilogue

Rain On Me

This is so long, holy crap, I'm so sorry!

8 years later

Eunjung and Yoonsan trekked through the airport, looking for signs of Mina or Moonkyu or Aera. They weren’t too sure who was picking them up.

Daddy, up.” Their three year old son, Hyeonsu, whined for what seemed like the hundredth time since they got off the plane.

“I can’t carry you right now, Hyeon. I have to carry Myeongeun and help eomma with the suitcases.” Yoonsan gestured to the baby carrier that held their sleeping seven month old daughter. Hyeonsu pouted and looked to Eunjung for help who was pushing the suitcase cart that had her suitcase, Hyeonsu’s and Myeongeun’s shared suitcase—that was bigger than her’s and Yoonsan’s—along with Mushu’s cage and their cat’s, Olaf, cage, plus Hyeonsu’s car seat. Eunjung gave her son an apologetic look.

I’m sorry, baby boy, but I can’t carry you either. Don’t you want to show everyone how much of a big boy you’ve become?” Eunjung tried to reason with her baby boy.

No. Up.” Hyeonsu demanded but he continued to walk between his parents anyways.

“Hyeonsu.” Yoonsan used his ‘appa’ voice, causing Hyeonsu to stop his pouting.

“Ayye, I thought big boys didn’t pout.” Eunjung and Yoonsan couldn’t help their sighs of relief when they heard Moonkyu’s voice. Hyeonsu quickly ran to his uncle, Moonkyu bending down so he could scoop up his precious nephew into a big hug.

“Hi, samchon!” Hyeonsu happily greeted. He recognized his uncle from all the Skype calls he frenquetly made. Moonkyu responded to his nephew’s greeting with a tight hug before going to greet Eunjung and Yoonsan, Hyeonsu still in his arms.

“Hi, oppa.” Eunjung greeted with a tired smile. Going on a plane with a toddler and baby was draining.

“Hey, hyung.” Yoonsan greeted with a smile just as tired. Moonkyu couldn’t help but chuckle.

“Don’t you two look cheerful.” Moonkyu laughed as he took the suitcase from Yoonsan to help lessen their load.

“A 12 hour flight with a toddler and baby isn’t easy, hyung.” Yoonsan stated as they made their way out of the airport and to the van that Moonkyu borrowed just for today.

“Don’t worry, I’m sure you all will pass out once you get to the house.” Moonkyu chuckled, shifting Hyeonsu to the other side. Said boy had seemed to made himself comfortable and was beginning to doze off. Eunjung and Yoonsan couldn’t help but feel bad. They knew their son was tired and if they could’ve carried him, they would’ve but they were still proud of the trooper that he was.

“Thank Shisus that Myeongeun inherited my sleeping patterns.” Eunjung giggled, looking down at her daughter who had fallen asleep just as they landed. Once she was out, she was out but since having kids, Eunjung has become a bit of a light sleeper. Mainly when she heard crying, that’s what got her up quickly but Myeongeun, nothing can take her away from her sleep.

They got to the van and Yoonsan quickly got Myeongeun’s carrier buckled in so he could help Moonkyu with the suitcases and the pets while Eunjung took Hyeonsu from Moonkyu. Eunjung got Hyeonsu’s car seat from the cart and went to the van. It took her some time but she managed to get the car seat buckled in and get Hyeonsu buckled in to the car seat. She made herself comfy between her two sleeping children and before she knew it, she was knocked out. By the time she woke up, Moonkyu had gotten them to his apartment complex. They were only going to be staying with him for a day before moving in to their new home.

“Jagi, let’s get everything inside then you can go back to sleep, okay.” Yoonsan said with a gentle tone as he woke Eunjung up. She only nodded before turning to unbuckle Hyeonsu and getting out of Yoonsan’s way so he could handle the baby carrier. Moonkyu let Mushu out of his cage so he could follow them up to the apartment while he carried Olaf in his cage since it was easier to carry than Mushu’s.

Eunjung ended up staying in the apartment with the kids and the pets while Yoonsan and Moonkyu got the three suitcases. When the two came back, they found that Eunjung had laid the kids on the guest bed, a pillow on Hyeonsu’s left to keep him from rolling off the bed and Myeongeun between him and Eunjung. The three were all asleep and Mushu and Olaf were asleep on the floor next to the bed.

“Yah, go to sleep, San. You guys will probably sleep until tomorrow so just leave the bags as is.” Moonkyu said, clapping Yoonsan on the back before walking out of the room. Yoonsan wasted no time in moving the pillow from next to Hyeonsu and lying in it’s place.

Moonkyu had been right about them sleeping till the next day. Eunjung was the first to wake up, a bit on the early side, so she decided to use that time to freshen up in peace without having to worry about her kids. When she was done, she found Myeongeun had just woken up.

“Hello, my sweet girl. Did you have a nice sleep? Let’s change your diaper and get you a nice bath.” Eunjung grinned as she picked up her daughter who was now talking in her baby language. Eunjung would respond as if she understood fully what she was saying as she carried her daughter to the bathroom, Mushu and Olaf following close behind. Eunjung had gotten a clean diaper and a change of clothes for Myeongeun from the suitcase and had brought the items with her to into the bathroom. She gave her a nice bath and gave her a clean diaper, getting her dressed after putting baby lotion on her.

“Mmm, my sweet girl smells all nice and clean, just like mommy.” Eunjung praised. She had felt so refreshed after showering and getting dressed for the day so she could only imagine how her daughter felt.

The two—plus Mushu and Olaf—made their way to the kitchen. Eunjung was going to surprise her brother with breakfast as a thank you for letting them stay and picking them up at the airport but she found Moonkyu at the door, paying a food delivery man. When Moonkyu turned around, food bags in hand, he nearly jumped from shock at seeing Eunjung.

“Aish, you scared me. I thought you would be asleep still.” Moonkyu sighed.

“Well I was going to make breakfast but I see you got that covered. Don’t tell me you were going to fool us into thinking you had prepared all this?” Eunjung tsked, knowing smirk on her face.

“If you knew, why ask?” Moonkyu stuck his tongue out at his little sister. Eunjung laughed as she followed Moonkyu, planning to help him set the table.

Moonkyu and Eunjung got to work, setting the table and the dishes. Eunjung also didn’t hold back from lecturing her brother on how he needed to eat better and shouldn’t eat out so much. He knew how to cook, but the dishes were limited so he didn’t cook so much. Eunjung always asked how he would find a girl if he can’t cook and Moonkyu always shot back with the fact that he could hire a cook.

“Are you excited to see everyone? It’s been a while.” Moonkyu asked, the two sitting at the table with Myeongeun in Eunjung’s lap. Eunjung had an arm around Myeongeun while she helped Myeongeun hold her bottle up with the same hand and she also managed to eat while doing so. As a mother, it helped to be able to multi-task.

“It feels like it’s been forever but it literally has only been 8 months since everyone came to Washington D.C. for the baby shower. Ugh, Skype was not enough.” Eunjung pouted.

“And it was enough for me? I’m hurt.” Moonkyu pouted this time.

“Stop being overdramatic, you know what I mean.” Eunjung giggled.

“Don’t worry. If you don’t see them this week, then next week is the rehersal and then the wedding. You’ll see everyone then for sure.” Moonkyu grinned.

After breakfast, and after Yoonsan and Hyeonsu finally woke up and got ready, Moonkyu took them to their new home. Mina and Aera were there to greet them and Hyeonsu was excited to see his grandma’s again. Because Mina nor Aera worked, they were able to visit them often so Hyeonsu didn’t need Skype to remember them. Moonkyu on the other hand has been busy with owning his own dance studio and also choreographing for many different groups and singers, both from South Korea and international, so he wasn’t able to visit as often. He had even missed the baby shower that they had for when Eunjung was pregnant with Myeongeun.

“Halmonies!” Hyeonsu greeted both with an equal amount of enthusiasm, alternating between hugs.

“Hello, darling! My, you’ve gotten so big!” Aera praised, Hyeonsu’s head with adoration.

“Yes you have! Soon, you’ll be taller than your appa!” Mina grinned.

“Hi mother, hi Mina.” Eunjung smiled at both ladies, hugging Aera before hugging Mina. Yoonsan put the baby carrier down before giving his mom and mother-in-law a hug.

“Hello you two. It’s been a while.” Aera noted while Mina played peek-a-boo with Myeongeun.

“It has. Almost three months. How have you been, mother?” Three years ago, when Eunjung was pregnant with Hyeonsu, Mina had forced Aera to come with her to Washington D.C. so that Aera and Eunjung could make amends. They had gone five years without speaking, Eunjung mainly didn’t know how to approach her mother in the first place, so it was very awkward at first but they eventually got to talking and since then, they’ve been working on bettering their relationship.

“I’ve been fine. Just doing this and that. What about you two? Are you excited about moving back?” Aera asked.

“We are. Especially now that no one else lives in D.C. anymore so we’re happy about being close to family again.” Yoonsan answered this time. He was the one who was the most apprehensive about Aera and is still a bit more apprehensive than Eunjung but if his wife and kids are fine, then he’s okay.

“I’m sure you two want to see the house and get settled in. We’ve been working on this non-stop but some mishaps made it so it wasn’t ready in time. I hope you all were comfortable yesterday but we didn’t want you two to have to lift a finger aside from unpacking your suitcases.” Aera informed them as she got the house keys from her pocket.

“We were fine, mother. We appreciate everything that you and Mina have been doing for us.” Eunjung smiled a grateful smile.

“Of course, what are mothers for. Mina, let’s help them get their things inside.” Mina stood up from her crouching position. “Care to do the honours, Eunjung?” Aera smiled, handing the keys to Eunjung. There were two keys, both being able to open the front door but so Eunjung could have one and Yoonsan could have another.

“Together, babe?” Eunjung smiled at her husband. Yoonsan smiled, holding her hand and they inserted the key, turning it so it unlocked the door. They opened the door and Eunjung couldn’t help but smile at the interior.

Unlike their very first house, this one was much smaller. It was a five bedroom, two story house. And instead of it looking like it was pulled straight from a high end magazine, it looked more like it came from Home and Garden. Eunjung had a lot of input in the design while both her and Yoonsan gave input on the size of the house. Because they spent 8 years on their own in D.C., Yoonsan and Eunjung agreed that having maids and a cook at their new home would feel very uncomfortable and living in a house the size of their first one, wasn’t ideal either. They had grown used to the apartment and Eunjung dreamed of getting a house like the ones they saw in the suburbs of D.C.

“It’s amazing! You two did a fantastic job! We can’t thank you enough!” Eunjung hugged Aera and Mina, the two returning the hug.

“Anything for you two! We’ll leave you all to settle in unless you need any help.” Mina offered.

“No, mom, you two have done more than enough. We owe you two big time.” Yoonsan said.

“Nonsense. We’re happy to do this and more. If anything isn’t to your liking, just let us know. Come, Mina, we’ll have plenty of time to catch up but I’m sure they all would like to get situated. Hyeonsu, come give halmonis a hug.” Hyeonsu tore away from his own tour of the house to go and hug Aera and Mina bye. Moonkyu left as well, saying that he had to go help Junhyuk with some things.

Yoonsan and Eunjung spent the whole week getting situated. They hadn’t been able to see any of their friends during the entire week because of how busy they were. Yoonsan was getting used to working at his new architecture job while Eunjung worked on getting Hyeonsu and Myeongeun on a routine. It wasn’t until the day of the rehersal dinner that Eunjung and Yoonsan got to see their friends again and Hyeonsu and Myeongeun got to meet the rest of their fairly large family.

“AH! EUNJUNG! SAN!” Sooyoung was the first to greet them with a tight hug. “It’s been so long! I’ve missed you two so much! Why haven’t you stopped by at my restaurant? Aish, I should punish you both. You went all the way to Arizona to visit a restaurant but when you get to Korea, you don’t bother to visit mine?” Sooyoung reprimanded. After Eunjung and Yoonsan left to D.C., Sooyoung got to work on opening her own restaurant. It took her a couple years but with the help of Mina, she was now the proud owner and head chef of her own restaurant with Nayoung by her side to help with the business aspects of the restaurant. Her restaurant was very popular and well-known in Seoul and was always busy.

“Sorry noona, we’ve been busy since we got back.” Yoonsan apologized, Eunjung following with her apology as well.

“I guess it’s okay but you have to come by soon, okay?” Yoonsan and Eunjung agreed to do just that. Sooyoung finally took notice of shy Hyeonsu who was clutching to Eunjung’s skirt of her dress. Myeongeun sat comfortably in Yoonsan’s arms and was too busy staring in awe of the restaurant to notice Sooyoung.

“Omo, you must be Hyeonsu, right? You’ve gotten so big!” Sooyoung grinned, crouching so she was more at eye-level for Hyeonsu. Hyeonsu shyly nodded, hiding a bit behind Eunjung.

“Hyeonsu, say hi. This is auntie Sooyoung. She sends all the yummy cookies.” Yoonsan informed while Eunjung kept a comforting hand on top of Hyeonsu’s head.

“You did cookies?” Hyeonsu asked. Sooyoung laughed as she nodded her head.

“I do! Are they good? Do you like them?” Sooyoung wondered. Hyeonsu nodded his head, a bit more enthusiastic. “Really? Then I’ll have to make more then! C’mon, everyone is excited to see you!” Sooyoung stood up and Hyeonsu approached her, holding his hand out.

“Hold my hand, please.” Hyeonsu cutely said. Sooyoung grinned and gladly took his hand. Sooyoung lead the way to the section of the restaurant that was reserved for the rehersal dinner.

“Eonni, why didn’t they have it at your place?” Eunjung asked.

“We’re remodeling the restaurant right now. If we weren’t, I would’ve made them do the dinner at my restaurant.” Sooyoung informed. “Everyone, look who’s here!” Sooyoung announced their arrival loudly. Eunjung and Yoonsan were instantly swarmed by their friends.

“It’s about ing time you two moved back. Like, seriously.” Rani exclaimed, being the first to hug them.

“Think of it as our wedding present to you.” Yoonsan said with a smirk, only to be hit by Rani. “Ow! Hyung, control your soon-to-be wife!” Yoonsan whined. If he had been holding Myeongeun, he would’ve been safe but as soon as Hyeonsu was comfortable with Sooyoung, she demanded to be carried by Eunjung.

“Sorry San, but if she hadn’t hit you, I would’ve. I expect an actual present.” Junhyuk grinned, going to stand next to Rani and wrapping an arm around his soon-to-be wife.

“Our presence in the present is your present.” Eunjung grinned cheekily, feeling cocky because she was holding Myeongeun and was safe from being hit.

“Eunjung, you’re lucky. Just wait, Eunjung, just wait.” Rani said, Eunjung merely grinning and hugging Myeongeun close.

Eunjung and Yoonsan continued to say hi to their friends who were there already. Jina came over with Mary and she was full on smiling, having grown comfortable with them after 8 years of being friends, she was more expressive with her emotions. Jina and Mary gave them a hug then cooed at Myeongeun.

“She’s so adorable! And Hyeonsu is so handsome, you guys make good looking kids.” Jina praised. Mary agreeing as she the top of Myeongeun’s head.

Rani, who hovered by them, made her way closer. “Jina, why don’t you hold Myeongeun? I know how much you love babies.” Rani said with a smile, confusing Jina.

“Oh, well, yeah, I guess. But, Eunjung, didn’t you say that Myeongeun is a bit picky about who holds her?” Jina asked, content with having Myeongeun hold onto her finger. Mary on the other hand, who had watched Rani’s and Junhyuk’s exchange with Yoonsan and Eunjung, smirked. She’s actually become known to have a prankster side.

“Let me try and hold her, Eunjungie! Please?” Mary made puppy eyes while Jina looked at her confused. “Yah, Mary, if she starts to cry, it’ll be your fault.” Jina scolded.

“It’s okay, Jina. We’ll see if it works. Maybe then you’ll be able to hold her.” Eunjung said, not knowing that Mary was actually working with Rani.

“Will you be okay to go with auntie Mary, my sweet girl?” Eunjung cooed, slowly moving Myeongeun away from her and towards a waiting Mary. She went into Mary’s arms with no problem and instantly, Eunjung had a sharp pain on her back from where she got her bra snapped.

“Ow! Rani!” Eunjung turned and saw Rani cackling. “Told you.” Rani smirked.

“Aish, you’re lucky I love you. Yah, give me back my baby. You were in on this, weren’t you?” Yoonsan had been long gone, going to catch up with Sungwoon and Moonkyu.

Junhyuk intervened and began to act like a good host, instructing everyone to sit down because dinner was going to be served soon. Eunjung stuck her tongue out at Rani and Mary, holding Myeongeun close and pouting like a child. You wouldn’t think she was a mother of two children and wife with how childish she acted sometimes, but she was. Hyeonsu allowed Sooyoung to sit him in her lap, close to where Yoonsan and Eunjung would be sitting. Nayoung sat next to her, waving at Hyeonsu and greeting Jina and Mary who sat on either side of them.

“I just got a text from Edward saying that him, Angie, and Taehyun are on their way.” Joan informed as her, Sunny, and Megan sat by Eunjung.

“Maid of honour is running late.” Nayoung sang.

“Thank god. She’s been stressing out because of this wedding…and it’s not even hers! Her stress causes me to stress so her not being here yet, is a break for me. Might not be a break for her because she’s stressing about being late, but it’s a break for me and that’s fine.” Rani said.

“Poor Angie.” Eunjung said.

“What ‘poor Angie’?! Poor me!” Rani exclaimed.

“Hey, I’m human too.” Everyone turned and saw Angie walking in, holding the hand of a little boy who looked to be around 5 while Taehyun held his other hand and Edward walked slightly behind them, talking to Hojeong who was walking with them.

“Yes, an annoying human.” Rani said, standing up with Junhyuk so they could greet them.

Hi auntie! Hi uncle!” The little boy took his hands away from Angie and Taehyun so he could run over to the two and give them a hug. Rani ruffled his hair while Junhyuk scooped the boy up into his arms.

“Kaleb! You’ve gotten so big since the last time I’ve seen you! What is your eomma feeding you?” Junhyuk asked, causing the boy to laugh.

“Uncle, you saw me yesterday.” He said.

Kaleb, don’t forget to say hi to everyone else.” Angie told the boy who was put down by Junhyuk and he went and did as he was instructed. He greeted everyone with a hug, even San and Eunjung since he’s seen them often when Angie would Skype them.

Mommy, I’m hungry.” Kaleb said to Angie as soon as she came over to greet Eunjung and San.

The food should come out shortly, corazón. Go sit with tío, okay.” Angie assured him before hugging Eunjung and San. “It’s been so long! I’m glad you two finally moved back. Kaleb has been going on about playing with his cousin.” Angie said.

“I know! I feel like Hyeonsu and Kaleb will be the best of friends.” Eunjung grinned. The two chatted for a bit more until the food came out and Angie went to her seat.

“So, Angie, how is tonight going to work?” Rani asked. Angie looked away from where she was helping Kaleb cut his food, causing Taehyun to reach over and take the utensils from her so he could finish.

“Uh…what do you mean?” Angie wondered.

“Bachelorette party.” Rani said. Angie was quiet before a look of realization came across her face.

Oh shi…shoot. Oh shoot.” Angie stopped herself from cursing when she saw her son looking expectantly at her. “Right, I forgot that was today. Okay, uh, well, there’s a club a few blocks from here. Y’all can go there and I’ll meet up with you. Reservations have been made so just tell the bouncer your name, Rani, and y’all will be lead to a vip room. Eunjung, you can come if you want but I understand if you don’t with your babies and all.” Angie said.

“Nuh-uh, Eunjung, you’re coming. And Angie, why don’t we all go together?” Rani questioned.

“Rani, we have kids.” Angie deadpanned.

“Angie, go with them. I can take Kaleb home with me and you can pick him up in the morning.” Taehyun offered, prompting Kaleb to cheer at the idea of having a sleep over with Taehyun.

“There you go, Ang. Eunjung?” Rani said, turning to said girl.

“Go have fun, jagi. The babies will be fine with me.” Yoonsan assured his wife.

“Uh, okay.” Eunjung smiled, still feeling unsure but it’s been years since she’s seen hung out just her and her friends.

Dinner went by with all of them talking and catching up with Eunjung and Yoonsan. Once dinner was over and dessert was brought out, they group began to get ready to split up.

“My love, becareful, okay.” Junhyuk told Rani, giving her a sweet kiss.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be careful.” Rani assured him.

“The guys aren’t doing anything?” Eunjung wondered.

“Uh…you guys want to hang out afterwards?” Junhyuk turned to his five friends since Edward was going with the girls because, in Angie’s words, she was too small to be wrestling drunk girls into a cab to get them home and would need help.

“I’ll probably be able to only stay for a couple hours unless you guys want to come over.” Yoonsan offered before turning to Eunjung. “Is it okay if they come over?” He asked, causing Eunjung to laugh while she assured him that it was fine. After they all finished eating, they went their separate ways.

“I’ll see you later, baby boy. Be good, okay.” Eunjung hugged her son before giving her daughter a kiss then turning to her husband. “Bye, babe. Don’t let Hyeonsu stay up so late, okay.” Yoonsan assured Eunjung that he has everything under control.

Mi corazón, listen to tío, okay. I probably won’t see you until tomorrow morning but I’ll call you before you go to bed, okay.” Angie assured her son.

Okay, mommy. You be safe, okay. Don’t talk to strangers.” Kaleb said, prompting Angie to laugh.

I won’t, mijo. I love you.” Angie gave her son a kiss before standing up to her full height and turning her attention to Taehyun who grinned. “Don’t worry, I know. No candy, nothing scary, and no staying up late. Angie, I got this. Kaleb and I will be fine.” Angie sighed at Taehyun’s words.

“Okay, okay. Thank you for this. I’ll see you tomorrow.” Angie told him before going to join the girls and Edward.

“I don’t get a kiss?” Taehyun playfully called out to her, prompting Angie to roll her eyes but she give him blew him an exaggerated kiss which he gave back. They laughed before Angie walked back towards him to give him a hug and as Rani likes to call it, a fake-out kiss on the cheek. Angie said it was because she was Mexican that she gave her friends those fake-out cheek kisses. "Thanks for watching him."

"Of course. Text me when you leave the club and when you get home, okay." Angie assured Taehyun that she would before joining the group of girls plus Edward.

They took two taxis to the club and when they arrived, Angie lead the group to the front of the line and stopped in front of the bouncer.

“Bachelorette party for Rani.” Angie smiled when the bouncer called for a worker to come and lead them inside and to the area reserved for them. They were lead up a flight of stairs to a secluded area with a balcony that allowed them to see the entire club, the dance floor packed with dancing people, the DJ on the stage, and the bar. Angie had arranged for a sash and tiara to be there, the sash saying Bride-to-be and the tiara was big and fancy, but made of plastic.

Yes! Let’s get drunk, es!” Rani cheered when a bartender came and brought shot glasses and two glasses of wine. They all cheered, downing the shots while Angie and Eunjung took a sip of wine.

You guys are no fun! Take a shot!” Megan said but Angie and Eunjung shook their heads.

We’re fine with the wine. Everything else is for you guys.” Angie said as Edward got a water bottle, good with one shot.

“Kids made them boring but at least the kids are cute.” Mary pouted.

Everyone else continued to drink and have fun. Angie and Eunjung would join them though when everyone wanted to go and dance but they also had to fight off guys that wanted to dance with Rani. Rani didn’t notice too much, thankfully. She was happy with the alcohol and the dancing and everytime they all took a shot, she would scream “I’m getting married, es!” Prompting everyone that was within hearing range, to cheer as they downed their shot. Angie and Eunjung would cheer, but not take a shot and instead a sip of wine from their glass.

Angie, thank you for this. Even though you’ve been annoying, but the alcohol makes up for it so I love you again.” Rani giggled. Angie smiled and patted her head.

No problem, Rani.” Angie told her.

“Eunjungie! I’m so happy you and are back with your babies! You two deserve nothing but happiness.” Rani said, pulling Eunjung into a suffocating hug.

Okaaay, Rani. I think it’s time we call it a night.” Edward said, getting Eunjung out of Rani’s arms while Angie worked on hearding the rest of their group together.

But nooo.” Rani whined, but not fighting Eunjung and Edward as they worked together to get her down the stairs and out the club where two taxis waited. Eunjung, Edward, and Angie worked on getting all the girls to cooperate and as the taxis dropped them off, they had to work on getting each girl into their apartment and making sure they were fine. They dropped Rani off last, Junhyuk was outside waiting for them so he could help.

“Say bye bye, my love.” Junhyuk told his soon to be wife as she clung to him. She giggled and waved to the three.

“Bye bye, my love.” Junhyuk chuckled and bid the three goodbye before taking her inside.

“Now it’s just the wedding and then they are off to their honeymoon and I can relax.” Angie sighed as they got into the only taxi left so they could get dropped off at their respective homes.

“Has it been hard, Angie?” Eunjung wondered.

“I made it hard, I admit. But they both mean a lot to me and I just want their special day to be perfect, you know.” Angie said.

“After everything’s done, Ang, take Kaleb and go on a small vacation.” Edward told her.

“We probably will.” Angie sighed. Edward was dropped off first and he hugged the two girls, telling Eunjung that she and him need to hang out before he went into his apartment. After, Angie was dropped off and she hugged Eunjung bye, both agreeing that they needed to have a playdate soon for their sons.

Eunjung thanked the taxi driver for dropping her off, giving him a little extra cash and wishing him a goodnight. She noticed that the all the lights except for a lamp in the living room that she could see from one of the windows. When she got inside, she saw Yoonsan sleeping on the couch and she couldn’t help but smile. She gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek, lightly shaking him so he’d wake up.

“Babe, let’s go to bed.” Eunjung said softly when Yoonsan finally woke up. He rubbed his eyes and nodded, getting up and following Eunjung to their bedroom. Eunjung sent Yoonsan off while she went to go and check on Hyeonsu and Myeongeun before she went and got ready for bed herself.

A few days later and everyone was gathered at a beautiful ballroom for Rani’s and Junhyuk’s wedding. Eunjung and Yoonsan sat near the front with their friends, Hyeonsu and Myeongeun in their laps. Moonkyu stood behind the podium since he was going to officiate their wedding. It started right on time, Junhyuk and Rani walking down the aisle together. Eunjung couldn’t help but tear up a bit at how beautiful Rani looked and how handsom Junhyuk looked. Surprisingly, the ceremony went by fast and Eunjung and Yoonsan were thankful because with a toddler and baby, they could only stay still for so long so they didn’t have to worry about their kids fussing.

Sera—who was hired to be their wedding planner—ushered everyone into an adjoining ballroom that was set up for the reception. Everyone found a table to claim as their own for their groups and they all waited for Junhyuk and Rani to come in. It was a while and everyone was about to cheer when they saw Junhyuk and Rani come in, but they noticed that Junhyuk was speaking angrily on his phone while Rani looked annoyed. She went around the room, talking to different guests and then she got to the table that sat Eunjung & Yoonsan along with their friends.

“Hey guys, sorry. The DJ is running late and by the sound of it, it seems like he won’t show up. Sera is trying to find a replacement and Junhyuk is on the phone with the company. Food should be out soon, the bar is open, go help yourselves.” Rani informed them. The girls quickly stood up to hug Rani and assure her that everything will be fine. Rani thanked them before going to the table that was for her and Junhyuk.

“Are you kidding me?” Angie muttered, rubbing her temples.

“Maybe someone here can hook up their phone and be the DJ?” Sungwoon wondered, prompting their table to nod their heads. But who? Yoonsan stood up, placing Hyeonsu—who was seated in his lap—on his chair and hurried over to where Rani was.

“What songs do you need? How long will it take to download them? Are there speakers or do I need to go and get my own equiptment? How long can you wait for me to get everything set up?” Yoonsan said, all in one breath and he couldn’t help but shake a little. He was worried about getting hit.

“San, what do you have in your hand?” Rani asked. Yoonsan looked at his hand that was holding his beer.

“A drink.” Yoonsan told her. “And what do I not have?” Rani questioned.

“Uh…a dri-hold on!” Yoonsan sprinted to the bar, ordered two of the strongest thing they had, and ran back. He placed the drinks in front of Rani and got ready to duck for cover when she reached out to grab a drink. She downed it in one shot and took a deep breath.

“Okay, well, we don’t need a song for the walk in anymore. Speakers are hear, just connect your phone. Just play songs for people to dance to and for the first dance, All About Us by He is We featuring Owl City.” Rani told him. Yoonsan assured her that he will get everything under control. In no time, Yoonsan got the speakers hooked up with the help of Taehyun while Moonkyu worked on downloading the song that Rani wanted for hers and Junhyuk’s first dance. Hojeong found a microphone that Yoonsan could use to announce the first dance but Yoonsan pushed that job on to Moonkyu since he had officiated the wedding.

“Everyone, give it up for the lovely couple, Junhyuk and Rani while they have their first dance.” Moonkyu said, prompting everyone to cheer while Junhyuk and Rani made their way to the center of the dancefloor. Yoonsan pressed play and soon All About Us was playing and the two swayed, lost in their own world. Junhyuk would occasionally lean down and give Rani a kiss on the lips as they danced.

“Ugh, it’s about time they tied the knot.” Edward said, wiping at his eyes.

“I know.” Angie and everyone else at their table agreed. Angie stood behind her chair, holding on to Kaleb who stood on the chair to see better and she made sure her son didn’t fall while she swayed to the song.

When the song ended, Yoonsan put a playlist that he made on the quicks and had it on shuffle, inviting all the guests to go out and dance. The night went on and everything seemed to be going fine until Hyeonsu and Kaleb went running to Eunjung and Angie who were sitting at the table.

“Mommy, the cake!” Kaleb exclaimed.

“Corazón, I said the cake wouldn’t come till later.” Angie told her son.

“No, I know but the cake, it’s falling apart!” Angie and Eunjung shared a look of shock.

“What?! How?!” Kaleb and Hyeonsu grabbed her hands and pulled her up and over to the table that the cake was on.

“Look at the back, auntie!” Hyeonsu instructed. Angie walked around and saw pieces of cake on the floor and more cake falling off.

“Okay! Kids, let’s go and find Rani and let her know!” Angie picked up Hyeonsu and took Kaleb’s hand and they quickly went to find Rani and Junhyuk. Thankfully, they were talking to Rani’s parents and weren’t on the crowded dance floor.

“I’m sorry to interrupt but Rani, oppa, the cake is falling apart and if we don’t cut it soon, there will be no cake left.” Angie told them.

“Crap, okay, go and find the microphone and make an announcement. I’ll go and find a knife and let the waiters know to get ready to pass out cake.” Junhyuk said, hurrying away with Rani while the two hurried away to do what they needed. Angie went to go and find the microphone.

“Hello everyone, if you could all please take your seats. We’ll be cutting the cake soon. Thank you.” Angie announced, once she lowered the music.

Rani and Junhyuk managed to salvage enough cake for everyone to have one slice and they got someone to clean up the mess that was made.

“Mommy, did we do good?” Kaleb asked as he ate his cake. Hyeonsu looked expectantly at Angie as well.

“Yes, you both did very good.” Angie assured them.

“Then can we get another slice?” Kaleb asked. “So that’s what you two wanted.” Taehyun chuckled.

“I don’t think there’s enough for another slice, hun. But maybe tomorrow, we can go and get ice cream. How does that sound?” Eunjung offered. Kaleb and Hyeonsu cheered, happy for the frozen treat.

The rest of the wedding, thankfully went off without anymore problems and soon, it was done and everyone was going home.

“Thanks you guys, for everything. We’ll bring back souvenirs!” Junhyuk told them as they all hugged the couple, wishing them congratulations.

“Don’t worry about it, hyung.” Hojeong said.

“Yeah, don’t worry about it.” Yoonsan backed him.

“We’ll see you all in a couple weeks. No one call.” Rani said as Junhyuk ushered her into the awaiting limo that would take them home then to the airport for their honeymoon.

“That was nice of you to work as a DJ.” Eunjung told Yoonsan as the two walked out to their car, each holding one of their sleeping kids.

“She would’ve found a way to blame me and then hit me for it. I had to do something.” Yoonsan said as he put Myeongeun on her carrier and Eunjung put Hyeonsu in his carseat.

“Well, thankfully, the night went fine except for two things.” Eunjung said, getting in the passenger seat as Yoonsan got in the driver’s seat.

“I know. Hey, so what do you think is going on with Angie and Taehyun hyung?” Yoonsan asked as he started the car.

“I honestly have no idea! Angie was saying telling me that she didn’t want to get in a relationship and just focus on Kaleb but Taehyun oppa is basically like a father to Kaleb anyways if you ask me. But did you hear, there’s a teacher at the school that Angie works at and Hojeong oppa has a crush on her.” Eunjung told her husband.

“Really?! He didn’t tell me anything.” Yoonsan couldn’t help but pout.

“Angie only knows because she sees it. She told me he hasn’t really told anyone about this girl.” Eunjung shrugged her shoulders.

They continued the rest of the drive with conversations about what their friends have been up to since they’ve been gone and when they got home, they worked on changing their kids out of their clothes and into pajamas. Eunjung wished her kids didn’t grow up, but knew that it was inevitable. So much has changed since they returned to South Korea and Eunjung couldn’t help but feel a bit excited about what the future has in store for her and her family.

“It’s so weird.” Yoonsan muttered as he and Eunjung lied in bed.

“What is?” Eunjung asked, looking up at her husband.

“I don’t know, everything. It feels like just yesterday, I was arriving in South Korea from France and we had no knowledge about each other. Now, we’re married, we have two kids, we’re living in a regular house and not a mansion. Two of our best friends just got married and everyone else is becoming successful in what they do. Like, it’s crazy how fast everything seems to be going but slow at the same time.” Yoonsan said, looking down at his wife who used his chest as a pillow.

“No, I get you. But, isn’t it exciting? Our lives intertwine with all these people, yet, our everyday lives are so different. Our dreams, our desires, it all varies from person to person.” Eunjung grinned. Yoonsan nodded his head before speaking up.

“What the hell were in those drinks?!” Eunjung and Yoonsan laughed before kissing each other good night and going to sleep.

“Why we here?” Hyeonsu asked as he held his uncle Moonkyu’s hand and they followed his parents into a building.

“We’re going to visit someone very special.” Eunjung smiled, but the tears were evident. Yoonsan put an arm around his wife to offer comfort.

“Hyeonsu, when we get inside, we have you be quiet, okay.” Yoonsan instructed his son. Hyeonsu nodded and put his finger to his lips, prompting Yoonsan to do the same. Moonkyu took the lead once they went inside and Hyeonsu stared in awe at all the glass casings with different pictures inside and a vase with a lid. He wanted to stop and look at them all but his uncle had long legs so he had to hurry to keep up.

“Noona, guess who’s here.” Moonkyu said, stopping in front of a glass case. It was too high up for Hyeonsu to see anything so he tugged on Moonkyu’s sleeve so he could be picked up.

“Noona, look at how grown up our Eunjungie is. She’s married and has kids of her own. Meet your nephew, they named him after you.” Hyeonsu looked around, trying to find who his uncle was talking to but all he saw was his parents.

“Samchon?” Hyeonsu whispered. Moonkyu looked at his nephew and saw the questioning look in his eyes. He let out a watery chuckle before explaining.

“Hyeonsu, your auntie is in there. She has the same name as you.” Moonkyu said.

“Why she there?” Hyeonsu asked.

“Because, baby boy, that’s where she rests.” Eunjung tried to explain, but how can you explain death to a toddler?

“She sleeping?” Hyeonsu asked.

“Yeah, she’s sleeping. Everyone in here is sleeping. That’s why we can’t be loud.” Yoonsan said.

“But, she can hear you when you talk and she would love to hear you.” Moonkyu said.

“Hi auntie. I Hyeonsu and that’s Myeongeun. She’s baby.” Hyeonsu spoke to the glass case that had pictures of Hyeonsu from when she was alive and some personal items.

“Eonni, do you still remember me? I’m sorry I couldn’t remember you and I’m sorry that I didn’t visit you when I finally did. I hope you’re not mad. I love you, and I miss you but I know you’re watching over me and my family.” Eunjung got choked up, and tried her best to keep her tears from falling before she spoke some more.

“I went to college, eonni. And mother and I, we’re getting better. I’m sorry it took so long for us to work on our relationship, but I hope you help us when you can. I love you, eonni, so much. Thank you for everything.” Eunjung finally let herself cry and Hyeonsu reached out for his mom.

“No cry, eomma. Auntie don’t want you sad.” Hyeonsu hugged his mom.

“I know, baby boy. I know. I just miss her, a lot.” Eunjung said.

“She’s always with you, jagi. She’s never left.” Yoonsan assured her. Moonkyu took Myeongeun from him so he could hug his wife.

“We’ll be back to see you again, noona.” Moonkyu said. Him, Yoonsan, and Eunjung bowed to the case and before they left, Eunjung kissed her hand and put it on the glass.

“Hey, I love you, so much. Don’t ever forget that.” Yoonsan told his wife when they got in the car.

Later on, Eunjung and Yoonsan sat with the rest of Hotshot and Rani and Angie.

“Wait, so Moonkyu oppa told you that toys get angry when they’re put in the closet?” Angie wondered.

“Noona got mad at me, especially when Eunjung demanded that they get rid of her dolls.” Moonkyu sheepishly chuckled, causing everyone else to laugh.

“Yah! I had nightmares for weeks! I still hate dolls.” Eunjung pouted, but you could tell she wanted to smile. Kaleb looked up at Angie from where he sat on the floor with Hyeonsu as they played with cars.

Mommy, is that true? Do toys really get angry when they’re put in the closet?” Kaleb wondered.

No/Yes” Angie gave Rani a look but Rani merely laughed. “Don’t scare my son, you’ve scared me enough.” Angie scrunched up her nose.

“I wish we had met your sister, Eunjungie, hyung. She sounds great.” Hojeong said, prompting San, Sungwoon, Taehyun, Angie, and Rani to nod their heads in agreement.

“She really was. You all would’ve loved her.” Moonkyu said with a sad smile, Eunjung’s smile resembling his. Junhyuk didn’t say anything, but his smile was sad like theirs. Rani noticed and grabbed her husband’s hand.

“She wouldn’t want you guys to be sad about her. She’s gone, but not forgotten. You three carry her legacy, make it a positive one.” Rani told them.

“Since when did you become a Hallmark card?” Yoonsan joked, laughing when Rani threw something at him which he dodged with ease. It had helped lighten the mood though.

Chapter 1: Bruh.... it’s been so many years.... I can’t believe it.... can’t believe this is the first place that I heard of hotshot and that this was my first introduction to the kids and my tall baby (who happens to be the one on my phone case right now lol) it’s crazy to me! Just wow! I’m excited to reread it (again) lol

Chapter 68: Aw, I'm glad it didn't go down the predictable path but both Taehyun and Angie still had happy endings. These guys are definitely friend goals and I want a friend like Taehyun. But dang, you included Shin Dongwoo! CNU! His story was sad too. Glad that he found Angie though!
This was a great bonus chapter! Thanks for writing this one! <3
And I'm curious but what's with the thought of changing character names? You already finished writing the story, my friend. XD Are you somehow going to revise the story or is it just changing the names?

Chapter 68: BEST SIDE COUPLE EVAAAAA!!! I always read stories that side couple has a thing and in the end got together or even didnt but when they mardy some other person they still have feelings for each other. BUT THIS! I love this so much!!! You can see that they LITERALLY have no feelings for each other. See! Who says a girl and a guy cant be best friends. Right? Angie is so cute with her new family~ and I love their relationship more than the other couples in the story. (Oops xD) THAKS FOR THE SPECIAL CHAPTER!! My heart can be at ease after the previous chapter xD

OH OH OH!!!!!! I WANT TO ASK!!!!! When did Angie had a kid? Is it with the guy she got a date with while doing the chase or smth? If I remember correctly when she told Rani about being friends with Taehyun... and what? Is Taehyun and Angie FINALLY getting together even though they didn't 8 years ago? I was SO confuse when I read about their part cause Kaleb is SO CLOSE to Taehyun but he's not the dad. And why are Kaleb and Hyeonsu cousins? They are not EXACTLY blood related right? Okay thats all I wanna ask^^ HAVE A GREAT DAY HIPPIE!! HEHEHEHE

I AM DONE WITH THIS STORY!!!! (If you know me I came here after reading What You See is What You Get xP) I'm sorry for reading before subscribing but dayum!!! (This is gonna be a long comment. Please bare(?) with me xD)

WOW! JUST WOW!!! This is the first time I am SO into a story that I don't even know the characters!!! What I meant is that this is the first time I'm actually reading an idol who I don't recognise! I'm sorry but I'm not of a BIG Hotshot fan. Know them a bit here and there. The whole time I read this story, the only people who I can picture is Timo, Sungwoon and Taehyun. And time to time Hyojung. I CANT PICTURE YOON SAN IN MY HEAD!!!! ㅠㅠ But funnily that didn't stop me from reading this. (I tend to not read stories if I can't imagine their faces xD) This story is so great! I actually miss reading this type of makjang story. And I know what's the typical makjang in fanfics but it still kept me glued to my phone wanting to read the next chapter and the next. And I can't believe I actually finish this in 2 days!! I can't stop repeating myself on how great this story is! You write great stories. I love you xD Like seriously... the characters made are good!! I was jealous at how smart and strong and positive Eunjung is. I was angry at how lame her parents are. I was annoyed at how Timo cared but not cared for her. I was sad that she had the KINDESS elder sister anyone could have but gone. All in all, this story gave me a roller coaster ride of emotions. Not only did I love this story but I think I'm gonna check up on Hotshot as well. I'll see if I ever fall in love with them. And if I did. I wonder if I'll read this story again xD Just to copy and paste San's face while reading this. HAHAHAHAHA XD I'm glad I read this. I wasn't going to read it cause, like I said, I don't really like to read story that I can't picture on my head. But this is just too great and I love it. Thank you so much for having such a wonderful story. Your story should have more recognition. Show to people that this story is GREAT!!! (And have a bonus of people falling for Hotshot members. Hahahah) All in all again, I wanna thank you for having such a great story that I feel in love with. I can't wait for WYSIWYG to update!! XP See you there!! Heheheheh

Chapter 65: I finally finished! //throws confetti
When did Angie have a kid?! And omg, Junhyuk and Rani! Congratulations! San and Eunjung though - they have two adorable children. These children are so innocent. TT-TT
How did the cake just tumble? Did someone touch it? Lol. And Mushu has a feline friend~ Aww~
Moonkyu though... such an awesome uncle. Now he and Sungwoon need love interests since Hojeong seems to have his eyes set on someone and Taehyun is taking his time with Angie. (Just get married, you two).
I'm glad that you ended with them having children. IT WAS ADORABLE.

Chapter 64: When did San become so bold with his words and actions? My gosh, lol. What happened to the bashful San? And that ring looks gorgeous! I'm not into huge pearls personally but the color and design still look great~
Aw, Dylan is finally getting his dream job! What'll happen to Trent? This is random but I kinda want some Mac and cheese too.
Let's get reunited with Mushu! AWAKEN!
//sorry, I love that line from Mulan, aha.

Chapter 63: Another sweet and fluffy chapter! YES. Shame on you Taehyun for betting on San like that. Tsk tsk. Who did he even bet with?
For a second, I thought that eBay subs was real until I realized that I actually saw that video so it's definitely fake. Lol.
Mushuuuu~ And wow, Mina throwing out an expensive ring like that. She's cool.

Chapter 62: Aww, Trent and Dylan! </3
Angie being all tough like 'your truck door fell on my foot but no worries, lol.' My gosh. She probably broke a bone or two considering the impact. :c
AND YES. Colette is now out of the streets (and so is Keith)! AFTER 60 CHAPTERS. //does a happy dance.
Hopefully the next chapter would be more uplifting. I'm still upset with what happened to San and Eunjung. Grr.

I'm going to start reading this again (slowly but surely) so that I can finally finish and catch up with Serpentine. One chapter at a time though. ><

Chapter 66: Love this story...I enjoyed every word of it!
