Double Update. Read chapter 28 if you haven't yet!^^ 

“Can someone help me? I need some help!” I laughed as I walked towards the dressing room that I heard Megan’s voice come from. I let her know that I was entering so she could unlock the door. I helped her zip the dress she was trying on.

“Ugh, thank you! I couldn’t reach it.” Megan grumbled.

“You’re welcome.” I smiled at how nice the dress looked on her.

“This dress is gorgeous! I love the color and the style. To be honest, I expected the dress to be ugly.” Megan lowered her voice to somewhat of a whisper towards the end. I giggled, shaking my head.

“No. My mother tried but I knew none of you would like it.” It’s true. My mother tried looking for the ugliest lavender dress she could find but I quickly put a stop to that.

“Thank the lord. You know what’s up.” I laughed, nodding my head.

“I’m going to go and try on another dress. Mrs. Yoon found me another one.” Megan laughed, probably at the face I made. I had tried on so many dress and still hadn’t found the one that made my heart flutter and soar. Even though I didn’t want this wedding in the first place, I at least wanted to find the perfect dress.

“Good luck. I’ll be out there in a bit.” I left the dressing room, closing the door behind me before going to my dressing room.

Mrs. Yoon happily greeted me with open arms, leading me into the dressing room where her and a worker assigned to us helped me into the dress. They didn’t let me look at my reflection as soon as the dress was on.

“Oh, this dress is just gorgeous. Let’s go show it to everyone else. I think you will love this one. It’s not what we were originally looking for but I saw it and had to get it for you.” Mrs. Yoon excitedly chattered. I smiled at her. The dress looking gorgeous on the hanger, but so did all the other dresses. But how it looked when it was on me, was what mattered.

We got to the showroom, my bridesmaids, my mother, and Sera all there. Sera and my mother were discussing something, probably about the wedding while my bridesmaids took selcas together. They all stopped what they were doing though when I walked in.

“Eunjung, you look…” Sunny trailed off as she followed me with her head as I walked onto the platform.

“Amazing.” Jina said. Everyone else spoke at once, agreeing.

“You’re all saying that so we can leave and get food.” I laughed.

“No, seriously, look at yourself.” Joan said, gesturing with her head that I should turn around and look at my reflection from the mirrors.

As soon as I did, I gasped. The dress, as beautiful as it was on the hanger, looked even more beautiful on me. I wasn’t trying to sound conceited but, it was the truth. Not only did I make the dress look beautiful, but the dress also made me look and feel beautiful and that was something I hadn’t felt for a while.

“This is the one.” I whispered. I turned to them, a wide smile on my face.

“This is the dress.” Mrs. Yoon clapped her hands, hurrying onto the platform to give me a hug.

“I knew you’d love it! I’m so glad.” She gushed, holding me at arms length.

“We have to get a picture. Eddie is going to be so mad that he had to go and help the guys.” Megan laughed, aiming her phone at me. Mrs. Yoon stepped away so I could pose for pictures. I laughed as I struck a pose. After a few solo shots, I gestured for the girls to come onto the platform with me. Sera took over the job of photographer for us.

“We’re going to be the hottest bridal party anyone has ever seen.” Mary giggled, the rest of the girls agreeing.

“Now that we know what dress she’ll take, let’s get you all out of these dresses and get something to eat. I don’t know about but I am starving.” Sera clapped her hands.

“You kidding me? Jina’s stomach has been growling since we walked in here.” Joan laughed, wrapping her arms around Jina in a side hug. Jina blushed but nodded her head anyways, not denying the stomach growling.

Author’s point of view

Edward sat on the couch as the groom and groomsmen walked out from the dressing rooms and onto the platform.

“I still don’t understand why I’m here.” Edward said as he watched them examine themselves in the mirrors.

“Because we need an expert’s opinion.” Junhyuk pouted at Edward through the reflection, laughing when he saw Edward blush, adverting his eyes to his phone.

“Oh my ing god, I can’t with him.” Edward muttered, thankful for the text that he received.

Edward couldn’t help but laugh when he saw the pictures he was sent, glad to see how happy Eunjung looked in both the solo shots and group photos.

“Well boys, you have some competition.” Edward chortled, holding his phone out to them. Taehyun took the phone, being the closest. He grinned as he looked through the photos, passing the phone to Sungwoon when he was done.

“Waaaah! Eunjungie looks so pretty!” Sungwoon exclaimed, showing the phone to Hojeong who was basically breathing down his neck—mainly to annoy Sungwoon since he could see the phone just fine—to look at the pictures.

“Hyungs, San, come see this! They all look so pretty!” Hojeong beckoned for the three mentioned to come closer. Junhyuk immediately went over, smiling even before he saw the pictures. But Moonkyu and Yoonsan both hesitated. It has been a week since the incident at the jewelry store and since Yoonsan apologized but both boys have been distant from Eunjung. Moonkyu because he felt weird about how he treated Eunjung. Sure, he’s helped her every now and then, but never like how he did then. But then again, when she would get seriously injured, he had been either younger or wasn’t around or pushed the job off to someone else who was more qualified to take care of her so he didn’t worry. This time though, no one else had been around that was qualified that he knew of so he just jumped into action. It had surprised him as well and since then, he didn’t know how to act around her. He wanted to keep up the cold, distant act like usual, but he found it hard to do so.

For Yoonsan, he didn’t want to be distant, but he was scared of saying or doing the wrong thing. He wanted to get closer but every time he did, Eunjung would push him away. Not physically, but her answers were short, she hardly looked at him, and if she could keep from being in the same room, she would. He wasn’t sure what to do and he wasn’t going to lie but it actually hurt him. Yoonsan didn’t even want to hang out with Colette anymore. Whenever she called or texted him, he’d either ignore it or lie and say he was busy. He just wanted to be with Eunjung, spend time with her, but she wanted the exact opposite. He guessed it was karma for how he’s been acting.

“Timo, San, come and look!” Junhyuk gushed, happy to see Eunjung happy. He knows how hard it’s been on her this past month and she always looked so down even when she was smiling so to see her looking truly happy made him feel good. It felt like he was keeping his promise.

When they were all done, tuxedos picked out with the help of Edward, and changed back into their regular clothes, Edward didn’t help with that, they planned to go and eat.

“Edward hyung, are you going to come and eat with us?” Hojeong bounced around Edward as the seven of them walked out the store.

“I guess.” Edward sighed, sounding like he didn’t want to but the smile playing on his lips showed that he was joking.

At lunch, they all joked and laughed but Moonkyu and Yoonsan were more on the quiet side. They would speak when spoken to but didn’t say much other than that. After lunch, they went their separate ways. Hojeong, Taehyun, and Sungwon went in one car, Junhyuk taking Moonkyu with him in his car while Yoonsan offered to drive Edward to his apartment instead of him taking public transportation. Yoonsan hadn’t seen Edward since last week when Edward came over and has been scared of seeing him again. Yoonsan knows what he did wrong and he wants to know how to fix it. He wanted him and Eunjung to return back to normal, to how they were before Colette and everything that happened.

“So, how is everything with you and Eunjung?” Edward spoke first, scrolling through his instagram feed.

“Uh, it’s goo-“ Edward cut him off.

“It’s , isn’t it?” Edward looked up from his phone, looking over at Yoonsan.

“If you knew, why ask?” Yoonsan grumbled. Edward couldn’t help but laugh.

“And here I was, about to help you but if you’re going to get an attitude…” Edward sang, bringing his attention back to his phone.

“Wait, you were going to help me? I thought you didn’t like me at the moment.”

“Oh, don’t get me wrong, I really don’t like you. But I hate Colette even more and I swear to God, if you try to defend her right now I will cause you to crash this car.” Edward paused, waiting for Yoonsan to say something, smiling very smug like when he didn’t.

“That’s what I thought. Now, my hatred for Colette burns more than my dislike for you and how much you’ve hurt Eunjung so, I’m going to help you.” Edward smirked. Yoonsan was a little scared by the smirk.

“First of all, how are you with Colette now?” Edward asked.

“Uh, I haven’t really talked to her in a week. I’m trying to distance myself. I’ve realized that she’s not…great to have around.” Yoonsan jumped at Edward’s loud, mocking laugh.

“You barely realized that?! Ha! That’s funny! That’s really funny. So, what did it? Her constantly glaring at Eunjung? Keeping you from going to the hospital when Eunjung needed you? What about her demanding that you two cancel the wedding? Or you know what, my favorite, her causing Eunjung to trip and bust her face against a glass case? What was it, Yoonsan?” Edward’s tone was feigned curiosity.

“How do you know she had anything to do with Eunjung’s fall?” Yoonsan wondered.

Edward scoffed. “Please. Eunjung can be klutzy but she’s not that bad to crash her face against the corner.”

“Are you going to help me or not?” Yoonsan questioned. A part of him wanted to believe that Colette was innocent. He’s known her for 8 years and liked to think that she would never do this. But, a bigger part of him, was nagging at him to side with Eunjung. That Colette wasn’t who he thought she was.

“Of course! Well, I’m not going to exactly. I actually got an outside hand for this. Let me call her.” Edward opened his KakaoTalk app, calling a friend of his from the states and putting it on speaker.

“What do you want? I was Skyping my man.” Came a female voice from the other end.

“Hey, I got him here with me, say hi.”

“What’s up, .” Yoonsan wasn’t really fluent in English, but he did know that.

“Uh…hi?” Edward laughed at Yoonsan’s awkwardness. “Hyung, how is she going to help me? Who is she?”

“Just listen to what she has to say. Alright dude, help the poor man.” The girl on the phone snorted, following by ‘poor man my .’

“For starters, show Eunjung that you have her back. That half assed, whatever that you did when she had gone to the hospital, was exactly that. Half assed. So, what you need to do, is get that other girl, Col-I don’t give a what her name is, out of the picture, for good. Eunjung needs to be assured that you only have eyes for her. That you will be faithful to her. That she is your priority. And you can’t just tell her, actions speak louder than words.” Yoonsan had been surprised at how good the girl’s Korean was since she sounded like a foreigner. He wondered if she lived in South Korea.

“Uh, and how do I do that?” Yoonsan asked.

“Who am I, Google? We can only tell you so much, the rest is up to you. Now, I have my man I need to get back to. The time difference makes it hard for us to talk. What was it that you called him, Edward? Mr. Handsome?”

“He’s such a ing flirt, I swear.” The girl laughed.

“I know, he told me. So, , you going to do what I said?” Yoonsan nodded his head but remembered that she couldn’t see him.

“I will, I swear. Thank you, uh, what’s your name?” The girl laughed again.

“We’ll meet soon. You can know my name then.” And with that, she bid both Yoonsan and Edward ‘goodbye’ before hanging up. Yoonsan pulled up to Edward’s apartment. He thanked Edward for the help before driving away. When he got home, he was glad to see that Eunjung wasn’t home yet. Yoonsan got his phone out, making a call.

“Colette, we need to talk.”
