A/N Read chapter 50 if you haven't yet

When we got home, Yoonsan offered to help me get dressed so we can finish faster but I knew exactly what he meant and we would never leave. Thanks to Angie, I only had to change out of my sweatpants.

“Babe, I did laundry earlier so there’s clean jeans in the basket in the living room. Don’t get any from the hamper.” I looked back at Yoonsan as I worked on pulling my hair into a bun on the top of my head.

“Uh…right.” Yoonsan dropped the jeans he had in his hands and left the bedroom. I laughed and rolled my eyes.

“Babe, what would you do without me?” I wondered when he came back into the room with clean jeans. The cast made it difficult to do my hair right sometimes…this was one of the times.

“I’d wear dirty clothes.” Yoonsan said as he came to me with the clean jeans on and a t-shirt. I let my arms drop and allowed Yoonsan to do my hair. Since the cast, Yoonsan learned how to do simple up-dos like ponytails and buns. I tried teaching him how to do a braid but it ended up with knots in my hair.

“You wouldn’t eat right, either. Nothing but string cheese.” I flinched when he pulled my hair. “Yah!” I swung my right hand back and smacked his .

When Yoonsan finished, I got my phone so we could take a selca together before leaving. Mushu walked us to the door and watched as we put our shoes on.

“Be good, Mushu.” Yoonsan said as he helped me get one of my boots on.

“Bye sweetie. Guard the apartment, okay.” Mushu did a little spin before going to his bed.

“That dog, I swear.” I heard Yoonsan mutter as he helped me get my coat before getting his own on.

“Yah, you love him and you know it.” I rested my purse on my casted arm while my good hand, clutched to Yoonsan’s jacket as he locked the door before grabbing his hand when he finished. When we got to the door leading to the parking lot, Yoonsan kept me back before opening the door and checking both sides before letting me walk with him. He made sure to keep me close when we walked to our car. It upset me that Colette and Keith have driven us to this. More so that we’ve succumbed to this fear but Yoonsan doesn’t want anything to happen to me but it’s turning more into a paranoia for him.

“Do you know which restaurant it is?” Yoonsan asked once he pulled the car out of the parking spot. I grabbed my phone from my purse and opened the text that Angie had just sent me.

“We the Pizza. Oh yummy. I’ve been craving pizza.” I grinned as I put the name of the restaurant into the GPS. We still got lost from time to time so we just rely on the GPS.

We got to the restaurant first and found a table large enough on the first floor since the place that refilled the sodas was on the first floor and I didn’t feel like going up and down the stairs.

“So I heard that Junhyuk oppa and Rani are trying to get Angie and Kidmon oppa together.”

“Really? Do you think it’ll work? Hyung has been whining about wanting a girlfriend and being single. Hopefully Angie can get him to shut up.” I laughed and nudged him.

“Leave him alone. I think they’ll make a good couple but earlier he saw her when she was still baking her face and had just put her contour on. Hopefully that doesn’t scare him away.” Yoonsan choked on his water at the image. We’ve seen Angie like that before but it never bothered her when we saw since we’re friends but she’s never met Kidmon oppa or Moonkyu oppa so I’m sure she’d want to have a good first impression.

“I think they’ll be fine. Hyung has met crazier girls and had crazier girlfriends. Makeup won’t scare him away.” Yoonsan assured me just as Angie walked in with Moonkyu oppa and Kidmon oppa. The three of them were laughing and looked like they were getting along so I guess earlier’s incident was past them. Angie saw us first and lead the way to the table.

“Are Rani and Junhyuk not here yet?” Angie asked, seamlessly switching to Korean so Moonkyu oppa and Kidmon oppa could follow the conversation. Rani and Angie usually spoke to Yoonsan and I in English to help Yoonsan with his English so I tend to forget that they both knew Korean.

“No, not yet. We got here a few minutes ago.” I couldn’t help but grin when she nudged Kidmon oppa.

“What did I tell you? They wanted the three of us out of the house before them so they can catch up.” Kidmon oppa nodded his head, looking at Moonkyu oppa.

“She called it, hyung.” Moonkyu oppa chuckled and nodded his head.

Conversation carried on, mainly Yoonsan and I telling Moonkyu oppa and Kidmon oppa what we’ve been up to here. Yoonsan excitedly told them about his music and how he was performing with some old friends. I told them about school and ended up telling them exactly how I got the cast because Kidmon oppa wouldn’t drop it.

“Yah! And where were you?” Kidmon oppa rounded on Yoonsan after I finished.

“I had been inside and was going to do laundry but Mushu wouldn’t stop barking. I went to go and see what it was when I saw what was going on. I blame myself too about it, okay.” Yoonsan seemed to have gotten upset and I quickly tried to comfort him knowing that day still bothered him.

“Aye, let’s leave the past in the past, okay. Things happened but in the long run, Eunjung’s healthy and alive and so is Yoonsan.” Angie quickly calmed everyone and I sent her a thankful smile. Kidmon oppa came over to give Yoonsan a hug but it almost caused a wrestling match so I think they’re okay now.

Angie lead the conversation to how everyone was in South Korea and I held Yoonsan’s hand. We were waiting for Rani and Junhyuk to arrive but I think I might order something soon because I’m starving and who knows how long it’ll take for them to “catch up”.

“Eunjung, can we talk?” I looked over at Moonkyu oppa who was staring at the table but would look up at me every now and then.

“Uh, sure, oppa.” I stood up after whispering to Yoonsan that I’d be back and lead Moonkyu oppa outside where it was a bit more quiet than inside.

Moonkyu oppa stared at the ground and reminded me of a kid who was about to get scolded. The last memory I have of Moonkyu oppa acting like this was when he was an actual kid. I didn’t know what he wanted to talk about so I felt like we both looked awkward to everyone passing by since he was looking everywhere but me and I was just staring directly at him.

“Are you cold?” Moonkyu oppa awkwardly asked me as I rubbed my arms. Stupid me forgot my coat.

“A little.” I admitted but before I could say that I was fine, he was taking off his blazer and ing it towards me.

“Here, so you don’t get sick.” He quietly said. I quietly thanked him before taking the blazer and putting it around my shoulders. How did I think him and I were extremely close when we were little? Yeah we were close, but it wasn’t like how I originally thought.

“Is everything okay, oppa?” I wondered. I was honestly surprised he came. I mean, I had been surprised to see the three of them but it still surprised me that Moonkyu oppa also came.

“I just wanted to…apologize for everything that I said to you on noona’s anniversary. I was drunk and didn’t mean it and-“

“If you said it drunk and remember it, then it means you meant it.” I quietly said, not able to look up at him.

“No, Eunjung, really. I’ve forgiven you a long time ago but that day has always been hard for me but I shouldn’t have taken it out on you. You barely remembered and it was difficult for you. I really do love you, Eunjung. You’re my little sister and basically the only family I have left. The accident wasn’t your fault, it never was.” I was taken aback. The brother who’s never shown me that much affection basically told me that he loves me. He called me his sister.

“It’s okay, oppa. You don’t have to explain yourself.” I sniffled, trying to keep from crying.

“I do because Junhyuk will hit me if I don’t and noona won’t be so nice either. Also, I’ve been feeling guilty for years and it’s getting too much to handle. I didn’t protect you when you needed me most and I can’t forgive myself for that. I was just stubborn and stupid and you didn’t deserve that.” It sounded like oppa was crying now so I looked up and saw his eyes were tearing. He sniffled and wiped his eyes but it seemed to have only caused the dam to break because he was sobbing now and we were attracting more attention.

“Aww, oppa.” I moved forward to hug him while he moved forward to allow me to hug him. I wrapped my arms around his waist while he wrapped his arms around my shoulders and buried his face into my shoulder while he cried. “I love you too, oppa and I’m sorry I couldn’t remember eonni until a few months ago.” I sobbed out.

“It’s not your fault, noona would understand.” Moonkyu oppa assured me. We stayed there for some time, both of us sobbing and comforting each other. I know we got stares from passerbys but I didn’t care. I had my brother back.

When we pulled away from our hug, Moonkyu oppa laughed a watery laugh.

“Your makeup is all smeared.” He started wiping at my face when I swatted his hands away.

“Yah! You’ll just make it worse!” I laughed as I tried to keep his hands from my face. We went back inside, still laughing over the mess that my tears made and when we got back to our table, Rani and Junhyuk oppa were finally there.

“Took you two long enough.” Rani commented.

“You can’t say anything. You two barely got here.” Angie came to our defense before she did a double take and stared at my face. “What the hell happened?” Angie gaped.

“We both got emotional.” I said, reaching for my purse to look for the makeup wipes. “Sorry Angie.” I apologized when I found them. She shrugged her shoulders.

“I mean, you guys made up right?” Moonkyu oppa and I nodded our heads, earning bright but relieved smiles from Yoonsan and Junhyuk oppa. Angie grinned as well before continuing. “Then that’s all that matters. Now go wipe the rest off, you look like a raccoon.” She shooed me away and I hurried off to the restroom. When I came back, everyone had settled on one large pizza for us to share and got an order of wings as well. Yoonsan quickly stood up to pull my chair out for me. I sat down and gave him a quick kiss to thank him when he sat down next to me.

“Aigoo, you two are too cute.” Kidmon oppa cooed at us.

“Why do they get called cute but when Rani and I kiss, it’s disgusting?!” Junhyuk oppa exclaimed.

“Because that was an innocent kiss. You two were making out in the middle of a crowded airport.” Moonkyu oppa deadpanned, earning a cloth napking to get thrown in their general direction which prompted Moonkyu to chuck it back just as the waitress brought our wings. The napkin hit the waitress instead of Junhyuk oppa.

“I’m so sorry!” Moonkyu oppa exclaimed while the rest of us tried to keep from laughing out loud. When the waitress left—after assuring oppa that it was fine—Kidmon oppa spoke up.

“Are you going to get her number or no?” That earned him a punch to the arm.
