It’s only a few days until the wedding and I’m beginning to feel anxious. But, it’s a good anxious, mainly excitement. I don’t know if it’s because I’m so close to being able to go to college or because once the wedding happens, Yoonsan and I can start sharing the master bedroom. I mean, uh…it’s because of college! Anyways, everything has basically been taken care of and it’s just a matter of counting down the days. My mother has me on a strict diet though so I can fit into my dress. I was pretty upset about that though since there’s only so much she’s letting me eat. I thought I could sneak things but she has eyes everywhere apparently since when I stole a fry from Yoonsan once and she called me the next day, scolding me. I was so scared that I didn’t even think about sneaking food anymore.

“Eunjung, you sure you’re up to go out tonight? I’m sure everyone will understand.” Yoonsan sat on the edge of me bed, my hair. That’s another thing, my headaches have gotten really bad and more frequent. Sometimes, a long memory comes, but it’s mainly been just short things, like voices or quick glimpses of someone’s face. It’s the pain though that stays consistent. I’ve come close to passing out a few times and if it weren’t for Yoonsan being around during those times to catch me, I would’ve hit my head on something and given myself an even worse headache.

“I’ll be fine, I just need to rest.” I assured him, reaching up brush a few strands of hair from his forehead. He grabbed my hand, bringing it to his lips to place a kiss on it. I smiled at that little action.

“Are you positive?” Yoonsan didn’t look like he was willing to let me go out tonight but thankfully, the headache came really early in the day and we don’t have to leave the house till around 6 so I have enough time to get back to my normal self.

“I’m positive.” I giggled. Yoonsan still seemed unsure.

“Okay, but if you’re not feeling well at all, tell me and we can cancel. I’m serious, Eunjung.” Yoonsan gave me a stern look. I smiled, rolling my eyes.

“Okay, okay. I promise to tell let you know the minute I’m not feeling okay.” I held out a pinky to him and he immediately linked his with mine, stamping our thumbs together.

“Get some rest, okay. I don’t want to see you up until you have to start getting ready but even then, you need to have maids helping you.” Yoonsan said.

“You’re worrying too much, babe. It’s just a headache. I’ve gotten them before.” I couldn’t help but laugh at Yoonsan’s cheeks turning red when I called him ‘babe’. It’s not the first time since we’ve become an actual couple that I’ve called him that, but it’s still funny to see him blush when I do.

“But what if it’s not just a headache. What if it’s something else?” Yoonsan worried. I smiled, shaking my head.

“The doctor said headaches will be coming because of that accident from when I was younger. I just need to deal with them until I get my memories back.” I shrugged my shoulders. “What else could it be though?” I asked him. He got a little sheepish at this.

“Well, remember, those time that we’ve been…you know….I didn’t use anything and I mean…” I figured out where he was coming from and I couldn’t help but laugh, sitting up so I could hug him.

“If it was that, I’m sure I’d be getting other things besides these headaches.” I told him, my hands holding his head as I gave him a quick peck on the lips. He smiled a small smile before giving me a longer kiss, with me being pushed back so that he hovered over me.

“I thought you wanted me to rest.” I said with a small smirk when he pulled away after a rather heated kiss. He flicked my forehead before lying down next to me and I quickly rolled over so that my head was on his chest and wrapping my arms around his waist.

“Jagiya, I need to go and do some work.” Yoonsan said, but wrapping his arms around me anyways. I snuggled closer to him, getting a whiff of his cologne.

“Just cuddle with me for a bit then you can go do work.” I pouted, looking up at him. Yoonsan sighed, rolling his eyes but I could see him trying to fight his smile.

“Just for a little bit.” I cheered, closing my eyes when I felt him playing with my hair. I ended up falling asleep after a while.

A maid woke me up after what felt like hours. She told me that Sooyoung eonni wanted me to eat something before I began getting ready. I mean, Yoonsan and I were going to dinner in a few hours but I hadn’t eaten since breakfast and it was already going on 4 so it’s been a while since I ate. The maid helped me out of bed and I saw that Yoonsan wasn’t next to me anymore. He must’ve left to go and do that work he was talking about.

“So, how was your nap? Feeling better?” Sooyoung eonni asked me as she placed a plate with a sandwich on it and some cucumbers on the side in front of me. I smiled, nodding my head.

“Much better, eonni. Those naps after the headache usually help.” I took a bite of the sandwich.

“You sure it was a regular headache? Nothing else, right?” Sooyoung eonni asked as she cleaned the kitchen. I chuckled, shaking my head.

“I’m sure. I even got one of those memories with it. It’s been almost a month since the first time for Yoonsan and I and nothing has happened. I doubt that’s even possible right now.” I told Sooyoung eonni. She laughed this time, shaking her head.

“I can’t believe you two didn’t even wait for the honeymoon.” She joked.

“Eonni, we’re technically married so it’s okay.” I laughed with her. “And I don’t think we would’ve even gotten an actual honeymoon.”

After I finished eating, I went back to my room so I could start getting ready. I showered and after showering, I had a maid help me dry my hair and then curl it. Once my hair was done, the same maid from my hair got the outfit that I had picked out and helped me get dressed. Then it was my makeup that I did by myself, a black and grey smoky eye since my bridesmaids, Rani, and Edward want to take me clubbing. And I finished it with a lipstick. I put on some gold hoop earrings, made sure to have my Mickey ring on and then got a pair of heels. Just as I got my heel on, was when Yoonsan came to get me so we could leave.

“Wow…gold looks good on you.” Yoonsan finally got out after standing there, gaping at me.

“Yah, you’ve seen me in less and you forget how to speak when I’m in a dress?” I joked, grabbing my clutch and making sure I had what I needed. My dress was a gold sequined mini bodycon dress and was backless with short sleeves and the shoulders exposed. I wore white, pointed high heels with an ankle strap. I did one quick check on my makeup in the mirror before turning back to Yoonsan.

“You ready?” He offered his arm to me and I took it. We left, saying by to Sooyoung eonni on the way. We had invited her and Nayoung eonni but they had a double date. They were coming to the rehearsal dinner tomorrow night though.

I texted everyone in a group chat, letting them know we were on our way to the restaurant. The plan for tonight was we all go to dinner together then after, I go clubbing and Yoonsan goes and does what ever the oppas had planned for his ‘bachelor party’. I was more excited for the dinner than anything else, to be honest.

When we got to the restaurant, Yoonsan and I were the first ones there so we busied ourselves taking selcas. Mainly, me taking selcas and trying to get Yoonsan to pose with me but you mainly just saw him in the back, trying to not get in the picture. I ended up practically sitting in his lap and forcing him in the picture. I ended up taking a video on Snapchat that consisted of me begging Yoonsan to pose with me while he tried to hide his face in my hair or shoulder.

“Aish, you two are so cute! This wedding is going to be the icing on this already yummy cake!” That’s a weird analogy but I smiled at Mary anyways. I think a glass of wine is enough for her.

We all sat around the table, chatting over dinner and sharing stories.

“Rani, how did you meet Edward?” Joan asked. Rani got along with all of us and I wish I had known she would be in town in time for my wedding so she could a bridesmaid as well.

“I traveled to California a lot during college and sometimes would take a class at UCLA if I was in Cali for a while. We both hated this one girl when we were in a group together and bonded over talking crap about her.” Rani laughed. Edward groaned.

“Ugh! I effing hated that girl, I swear. She was such a little girl, it wasn’t even funny and hardly worked. If I had failed that class because of her, I was going to lose my .”

“Yeah, it was bad. But that also what got us to be the best of friends.” Rani said, Edward nodding his head.

“And how did you and Eunjung meet?” Hojeong oppa asked.

“Edward and I were having a sleepover when she Skyped him once. We exchanged kakaos and kept talking through there.” I explained.

“And she had some good gossip, it was always fun. Angie was always looking forward to our talks because she liked hearing about everything going on.” Rani rolled her eyes, but fond smile on her face.

“What about you and Junhyuk? How did you meet?” Megan asked. I smiled at how Junhyuk oppa and Rani smiled at each other, Junhyuk oppa grabbing her hand.

“I went to the states on vacation almost a year ago.” Junhyuk oppa said.

“I saw him struggling to communicate with someone in English so I showed up, wowed him with my skills and then continued to wow him with my awesomeness.”

“Aren’t you humble.” I heard Yoonsna mutter next to me, causing me to giggle. “I heard that, .” Rani glared at him. “Anyways,” she smiled again, turning back to face everyone. “I showed him around, some good tourist attractions and places that not a lot of tourists knew about and we just hit it off.” Rani shrugged her shoulders.

“We exchanged numbers before I left and stayed in touch. After a while, I figured that I felt more than just friendship for her and when I told her, she said the same. This is the first time we’ve seen each other in person as a couple.” Everyone awed at their shared kiss.

“You guys are really cute.” Sunny grinned, taking a bite of her food.

“It’s only cute because it’s consensual right now. This boy is a koala, I swear.” Rani gestured towards Junhyuk oppa.

“What?! I’m not a koala!” Rani guffawed at this.

“Sweetie, at the apartment, you are practically clung to me.” Rani patted Junhyuk’s hand.

“You too?! Eunjung does the same thing to me! I basically carry her around the house most of the time because she has her arms and legs wrapped around me.” Yoonsan exclaimed. I stared at him in shock.

“But I’m a cute koala.” I pouted.

“It’s only cute sometimes, but when we have to haul your asses around, it’s not that fun.” Rani said.

“I’m going to get you back, Yoonsan, just watch.” I said only loud enough for him to hear. He looked at me, a bit scared.

“Huh?” He gulped when I just smirked, looking away to hear what Jina was telling me.

Just as we were finishing dinner, we got a not so pleasant surprise.

“San! Eunjung! It’s been so long!” I turned my head so fast I almost got whiplash. Colette.

“Oh my…you have got to be ing kidding me.” I heard Edward bemoan, loud enough for all of us to hear.  

“Edward! Be polite!” I whispered.

“No, it’s okay. Let them, Eunjung.” Yoonsan told me before turning to Eunjung. “What do you want, Colette? Was me ignoring your calls, texts, and e-mails not enough?” I saw Colette’s eye twitch and her smile twitch as well before she composed herself.

“I just wanted to come and say hi! Your rehearsal dinner is tomorrow, right?” Colette wondered.

“Is she stupid or something? Does she not get that no one here likes her?” I heard Rani loudly ask, only to be shushed by Junhyuk oppa but it sounded like he was trying to hold back his laughter.

“Oh, I don’t believe we’ve meet. Hello, I’m Colette Bellrose. And you are?” Rani stared at Colette’s outstretched hand before getting a napkin and pushing her hand away.

“Not wanting you to know my name.” Rani looked away, starting a conversation with Edward and outright ignoring her.

“Colette, leave, now.” Yoonsan said in a firm tone.

“What does Eunjung have to say about this? She doesn’t seem so tough now. What’s wrong? Cat’s got your tongue?” Colette sneered.

“N-no, I just don’t feel like wasting my time with talking to you.” I cursed at myself and how I stuttered.

“Really? Someone’s gotten tough. Now that you and San are together, you think you can say what you want to me?” Colette crossed her arms.

“No.” I looked down.

“This girl, really. Eunjung, tell it to her straight! Get her the out of here. She’s a nobody compared to you.” Rani said. I was surprised she knew what was going on. She understood French?

“So you have your little friends here and think-“

“Enough, Colette! You need to stop harassing Yoonsan and I! We’re getting married, we’re happy. I’m truly, deeply sorry that this happened to you but if you really cared for Yoonsan, you’d let him be happy.” I stood up, trying to come off as threatening but I knew that wouldn’t happen.

“Not exactly what I meant by ‘tell it to her straight’. Kinda hoping you’d throw some shade or something but you do you, girl.” I heard Rani say.

“You need to leave, Colette. Now. If you don’t leave by choice, I will have you thrown out. Yoonsan and I have more power over the management than you do and they won’t hesitate to do as we say.”

“Ooo, she pulled the rich girl card.” I could hear Sunny go ‘oh snap’ right after what Rani said.

“You’re going to regret this, the both of you. I tried playing nice so don’t come crying to me.” And before Yoonsan or I could speak up, Rani did.

“Bruh…come at me…you won’t.” And then the rest of the table busted out into laughter. They seemed to be trying to hold it in since Rani started making side comments.

“My love, stop, you’re killing us.” Junhyuk oppa got out between laughs.

“Colette, just leave.” Poor Yoonsan, he sounded tired. She scoffed before walking away. After she left, we paid the bill and then left the restaurant as well, getting ready to go in separate cars. I stopped Yoonsan from getting into Junhyuk oppa’s car.

“Yoonsan, I’m worried.” I clung to his hands. Yoonsan pulled on hand free so he could wrap an arm around me and pull me close in a hug. I felt so scared right now. Could she do anything? I was scared for Yoonsan and I and our safety. I’ve never felt threatened like this before.

“Don’t be, jagiya. She can’t do anything, okay. We’re fine, I promise.” I looked up at him, fighting back my tears. He leaned down to give me a kiss.

“We’ll be okay, I promise.”
