Author’s Point of View

Eunjung woke up the next day with a nasty headache. She saw the door had been left slightly ajar and was tempted to leave the room but didn’t know if Colette and or Keith were here. Eunjung seriously didn’t want to deal with them if they were here. She just laid on the floor instead under the blanket and worked on willing the headache away. It helped a little that she was staying still but lying on the floor with no pillow probably wasn’t helping her either.

“Eunjung, are you awake?” Eunjung glanced over and saw Trent with some pain killers and a water bottle. She could see Dylan behind him and guessed that what he was holding was food.

“Oh good, you are. How’re you feeling?” Eunjung couldn’t help but smile at the wide grin that Trent got when he saw that she was awake. Him and Dylan came into the room and Trent put the pain killers and water bottle down so he could help Eunjung sit up.

“My head really hurts but I think I’m fine.” Eunjung replied. Dylan was holding a container of food that looked homemade and couldn’t help but grin, remembering that Trent told her how he wanted to be a chef.

“Trent told me what you guys talked about yesterday and wanted me to make you something so here. It’s homemade mac n’ cheese.” Dylan handed the container to Eunjung without looking at her and Eunjung took the container from him with a smile.

“Thank you, I’m sure I’ll like it. It looks really good.” Dylan shrugged and seemed like he was acting like he could care less about her opinion.

“Like it, don’t like it, I don’t care but it’s all your going to eat. And you need to eat something if you want to take some painkillers for your head.” Eunjung wanted to laugh at the fact that even though Dylan acted all big and tough, he obviously was a very warm hearted person who took care of others.

When Eunjung had taken a few bites of the mac n’ cheese, Trent allowed her to get two pain killers that she quickly washed down with water. After though, she continued to eat the mac n’ cheese that she had fallen in love with. She ended up finishing what was in the container and the container had been the good sized container.

“I guess you really liked it or you were really hungry.” Dylan was in awe at the fact that a girl Eunjung’s size could finish off the amount that she did with no help and in one sitting.

“Both.” Eunjung sheepishly admitted. Trent took the container from her and placed it off to the side. While Eunjung had been eating, Dylan and Trent had sat down so the three could discuss a plan that could get Eunjung out.

“So, Keith and Colette aren’t here right now. After you had passed out, she had gone on this rant about the plan failing and them being caught and how she was going to kill him. We’re not sure exactly who she’s talking about but that’s going to happen tonight.” Trent explained.

“We need to get you out before though because Keith talked about the three of you fleeing the country afterwards. So we need to think of a plan and soon because we only have an hour before they get back to get you then they’re going to the hospital.” Dylan said, glancing at his watch. Eunjung felt her eyes widen.

“What?! What time is it?!” Eunjung exclaimed.

“It’s nearly 6 in the afternoon. We kept trying to wake you up since 7 in the morning but you wouldn’t budge. We were getting worried.” Trent said, Eunjung feeling her jaw drop.

“Well, I’m awake now. I say we leave before they come back.” Eunjung said. If Colette and Keith wouldn’t be back for another hour, then that gives them plenty of time to get away. It was that simple.

“Well, let’s go now.” Dylan stood up, Trent standing up as well. Trent reached a hand out for Eunjung to take and Eunjung allowed him to help her up. She got a dizzy spell though when she stood and had to gather her bearings before moving.

“Are you okay?” Trent asked, a hand on Eunjung’s shoulder to keep her steady.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I just got up too fast. Let’s go before they come back though.” The three hurried out the room but just as they reached the front door, it opened, revealing Keith and Colette who came back earlier than either of them expected.

“Oh, going somewhere?” Colette was almost like a different person seeing how calm she was right now compared to last night.

“We know everything and I won’t let you get away with this.” Dylan pulled Trent and Eunjung behind him before getting a gun out and aiming it at Colette and Keith.

“And what about the money? Your brother won’t be able to go to college, Dylan.” Trent spoke up this time.

“I don’t want to go if it means hurting Eunjung. We’re leaving and we’re taking her with us.” Trent tried to sound strong but Eunjung could tell he was shaking so she placed a hand on his arm to help calm him.

“That’s adorable, really adorable.” Colette laughed before her expression turned cold.

“Grab her.” Keith pulled out his own gun before shoving Dylan out of the way and shooting at Trent. He grabbed Eunjung just Dyaln yelled out for his brother and fired his own gun, hitting Colette in the arm. Just as Keith was about to shoot at Dylan, Colette spoke up.

“Forget it! We got her, let’s go!” Colette yelled before screaming at Eunjung to shut up. Eunjung had been screaming ever since Dylan was shoved and stopped when Colette slapped her. Keith picked her up like she was a sack of potatoes and ran out behind Colette to a car that was parked outside next to Dylan’s and Trent’s truck. Keith tossed her into the trunk of the car before going behind the wheel, Colette getting into the front passenger seat. They drove off, leaving behind Dylan and Trent.

Dylan quickly got up and went to check on his brother, praying that he was okay. Come to find though, Trent hadn’t been shot and only acted like he did.

“You’re insane!” Dylan laughed a relieved laugh before pulling a grinning Trent up and the two ran out to their trunk, Dylan in the driver’s seat with Trent in the passenger seat. Dylan tossed Eunjung’s phone to Trent, surprising him.

“How did you get her phone?” Trent wondered.

“I’ve had it since we grabbed her but saw no point in saying anything since there’s no bloody signal out here but when we get signal, call whoever is on her phone and let them know what’s going on. Tell them the liscence plate of their car and where they’re going.” Dylan instructed as he drove as fast as he could to catch up with the car.

“Why not the police?” Trent curiously asked.

“Because if it’s the police, then they’ll want to know how we know all this.” Dylan explained but Trent was still confused.

“But how would calling someone on her phone help?” Trent wondered.

“Just do as I say, Trent! I know what I’m doing, okay. Trust me.” Dylan exclaimed just as they saw the car and Trent got signal on Eunjung’s phone. “Her passcode is a square.” Dylan said when he saw Trent get to the lockscreen. Trent did a square design and let out a whoop when he was taken to her homescreen. He grinned at the holiday picture he saw of Eunjung, Yoonsan, and Mushu that Eunjung had set as her wallpaper before going to the her contacts. He called the first person who was first on Eunjung’s list.

Meanwhile back at Rani’s and Angie’s house, it was buzzing with excitement. Alexa had informed them last night after Rani and Angie got back to their house that before Yoonsan left, he had asked her if there was any device that he could possibly clip onto Bridgette incase he didn’t get the intel that they needed. When Yoonsan had grabbed Bridgette to stop her, that was when he clipped a device that she had recently invented. It was like a sticker almost but worked like a microphone and wasn’t noticeable. When all the agents had returned back to their makeshift HQ, Alexa had got to work at getting the microphone connected and was pleased to know that regardless of Bridgette’s distance, it worked well and she had been able to pick up on the plan that she and Keith were working on for the following night. Rani was already at the hospital with a small army of agents and officers to put that part of the plan to work while Angie stayed home and got ready with the other agents so they could meet everyone else at the hospital.

Angie was in the middle of sending a text to Rani to let her know that they were all about to leave to go to the hospital when she began to get a call. The caller id shocked her but she quickly answered.

“Eunjung?!” All the agents turned to look at her with wide eyes. Was Eunjung calling her?

“No, sorry, this isn’t Eunjung but I know where she is!” Angie was surprised to hear a male’s voice but shook off the surprise.

“How do you know where she is? Who is this?” Angie demanded.

“My brother and I, we’re following a car with the liscense plate” He proceeded to call out the liscense plate that Angie repeated to an agent who pulled up the video cameras at every stop light in Washington D.C.

“They’re heading towards the hospital and I think they’re going to kill someone.” The male informed.

“Can you tell me what street you guys are on? I can send officers your way to intercept them.” Angie gestured for an agent to get on the phone with the chief of police.

“Yeah, they’re-“ The male cut off and Angie heard another male curse in the background. “Uh…nevermind. We lost them.” Angie let out a sigh before assuring the male that it was fine.

“Are they still in pursuit for the hospital though?” She asked, the male confirming that they were.

“Good, thank you. May I know who this is?” Angie wondered.

“Uh…no!” And the line went dead, confusing Angie. Angie quickly sent a text to Rani, informing her of everything before turning to the agents and ordering some to come with her to the hospital while some stay behind to keep a lookout on the video cameras from the stop lights and to keep them updated if they see the vehicle with the liscense plate she was given. Angie was soon on her way to the hospital.

A/N I'm pretty sure this story is going to end in two chapters and then an epilogue and that makes me really sad because I've put so much work into this story and these characers. It's hard to believe it's almost over but...all good things must come to an end. Also, Rani has a new story called The Monsters Under Your Bed and it's a Block B story and y'all...I AM LIVING FOR THIS STORY! And it only has three chapters so far XD But I'm living for it. So, it would mean the world to me if you all can go over and check it out and give it the same love you give Rain On Me. Love you all!^^
