 Minseok's POV

„ Urm.....what?“ Minseok could see the glint of amusement in her eyes when she raised her eyebrows, her face carefully adjusted in an expression of absolute indifference at the shock on Mister Cha's face when he started patting his chest to get rid of the ashes that fell on it. Minseok leaned further into his chair and drank a sip of his coffee, completely relaxed, like they were not in a completely uncomfortable situation, like the demon wasn't going to make a patté out of the man in front of them.

„ I said, I am the only one who will be setting the conditions here, Mister Cha. I wasn't aware you had trouble hearing.“  He raised a little in his chair, his face red as a tomato again, the vein on his temple pulsating from anger.

„ I won't have some overprivileged rich brat order me around!“ She chuckled slightly, shrugging her shoulders before speaking sweetly to him.

„ You act like I am giving you a choice, Mister Cha.“ She intentionally paused giving time to Minseok to intervene. Showtime.

„ What my colleague is trying to say in a very crude manner is that we need to reach an agreement today, for both our sakes. Now....Yeon Hee can be kinda difficult sometimes so hopefully you and I will be more on the same page.“ The man scoffed and leaned further in his chair.

„ Agreement with some toddlers who didn't even finish highschool? Give me a break.“ I sincerely doubt we are the only one who didn't finish highschool in this office, but OK..... Also, dude, seriously you are just making things worse for yourself.

„ You want a break? Fine. I'll give you one. The deal is off. Minseok, if you would...“ She bowed her head a little and went for the door with Minseok slowly rising from the seat when the man laughed.

„ Bluffing, young lady? You need this. You need this amusement park and by defintion you need me to manage it.“ She turned around at the door and shook her head slightly while smiling at him.

„ Ah...but you see, that's where you're wrong Mister Cha. I need an amusement park. Yours is barely the only one. In the interest of full disclosure, let me tell you that we have simultaneously been negotiating with the Sunshine land and you. I think you know them right? I actually think they are you biggest competitors. And they have such a beautiful spot near the river. I am more inclined to make the event there but....“

„ But I assured her that you could be reasonable enough to compromise with us and have it here. After all, we are all here to benefit from this.“ Oh, she was totally bluffing. But knowing her, she could have just as easily make it happen if she didn't swore to crush mister Cha's balls and sprinkle it all over his office. He gave her a fake warning look and bowed his head slightly at Mister Cha, clearly enjoying his role as a mediator.

„ As you can see, my colleague and partner...“ He almost heard her teeth clench at that one.

„ Can sometimes be very...feisty when she doesn't get her way. If you show her you are ready to compromise.....“ The man raised his palm and looked at them both, narrowing his eyes as he spoke up.

„ Sunshine land? Why would you be negotiating with us both at the same time?“

„ To avoid being limited by these, in lack of a better word, completely unacceptable conditions you have been setting.“ She said, not missing a beat.

„ Unacceptable, ha! My demands are perfectly reasonable.“ She smugly curved her lips before delivering her snarky response.

„ Then you don't know enough about business, Mister Cha.“ Oh, he just got pissed off. Nice.

„ And you do?“ She walked over to the small window and opened it, a screeching sound overwhelming the room for a moment, like the window wasn't opened in years. Which it probably wasn't. She leaned next to it and pointed her finger at her ear.

„ You hear that? Silence. It is in the middle of the work week and I understand you get most traffic on the weekends, but there is not a living soul in your amusement park right now. Except us, who are unfortunate enough to be dealing with this....negotiations. There is no child laughter, the machines are barely working. And correct me if I am wrong this situation is being continuous for what.....two years now?“

„ Three.“ Minseok said, drinking his tea while watching her work her way into his number one weak spot. Bad business. It's definitely not the first time he is seeing the demon in action, but boy there was something poetically terrifying and glorious in seeing her expressions and the way her next words lingered on her tongue, insuring that when she speaks them they would have the most impact. She smiled at Mister Cha whose face was frozen in a stunned expression.

„ You see, Mister Cha, your amusement park is not doing so good lately. Your year income is becoming smaller every year, and it's barely enough to keep up the place and to break even.“ That's the thing he discovered that day and told her. He could have pointed out which rides were costing them the most money, who they were indebted too. He pinpointed the exact moment when the amusement park went downhill.

„ That lawsuit two years ago really had an impact on you as well. What was the trouble.....safety issues?“

„ It was uncalled for, we would have stopped anybody from using the rollercoaster before something bad happened!“ He jumped up, this time almost yelling. She raised her eyebrow.

„ Would you really?“ She turned around, spreading her arms.

„ The point is, you and your amusement park are at a verge of a bankruptcy. Your employees are severely underpaid and to tell you the truth I am not sure about the conditions of most of your rides.“

„ That is slander!“

„ That is common sense, Mister Cha. Like I said you will need to persuade me really hard to do business with you, because I am more than ready to walk out of this door and walk straight into Sunshine land. I just want to make it clear as possible.“ She grabbed the top of the chair next to him and glared at the clearly very shocked and very pissed in his pants manager.

„ So, are we going to use our common sense, or do I need to leave for you to understand I am not bluffing?“ God, she was totally bluffing. She was playing the bastard like a fiddle, just like she tried to do to him that afternoon. But unlike the poor fool in front of him, he knew what was going on. That she tried to bait him. That she succeeded in it. But how could he say no to it? She came to look for him just to tell him she changed her mind, perfectly aware she was making him come to her to ask her what the hell was going on, aware that he was dying from curiosity of what the great all powerful demon could possibly want from the person she despised most on this Earth. Yeah, he came for her, wanting to know, just like she predicted, just like she wanted. And then she tried to tell him she didn't need him anymore because she found that Japanese kid to do it. Please. Like he totally wasn't aware of everyone who was stupid enough to be hanging around her, especially not that shrimpy kid with glasses who came looking for her at lunch or waited for her in front of the classroom, always with his tablet in one arm and raising his glasses with the other. Or the way he switched to fast Japanese everytime when he talked to her about something related with the debate club, thinking that it was so important it needed to be in an other language so people wouldn't find out. That had nothing to do with Minseok's decision to stop skipping Japanese in school. So obviously when he didn't see the annoying kid recently he heard he was sick with some flu. And her saying that he could do it instead of Minseok just made him realize how important this was to her. To come to him, to try to play him. It was certainly something unexpected and....ok, he was wickedly satisfied with that. And when they planned this after school he could really see that she took this burden on herself to protect that stuttering girl. It's was....surprising how far she would go for people she cared about. People who got access into her heart....He looked up at her from the corner of her eye and saw that smirk creeping on the end of her lips. So she has one. Surprising. For the poor guy in front of him, that would seem a myth.

„ What do they teach you at that school?!“ He said, sitting in his chair so abruptly that it whined in pain.

„ We do have an excellent art program.“ Minseok said and he almost felt her eyes rolling. What? You said to ease up the tension. I am just doing my job. The man scoffed and lit up another cigarette while looking at them both.

„ Are everybody in this school like you two?“

„ No, unfortunately, you got the absolute worst from the school.“ He said and he heard her clear voice again.

„ And you got me too.“ Oh, nice. He set himself for that one, definitely.

„ So, what you came here for here, Miss....?“

„ Moon.“

„ Miss Moon, is I presume that you want more of your school exhibition places.“

„ Mister Cha, if I wanted only that, I wouldn't even get up from my couch. What I want is...“

„ Revaluation of all of your conditions.“ Minseok added, finishing his coffee and putting it on the table. He almost heard her sigh before she masked it with complete indifference again and strolled off towards the window, leaving him to negotiate with the man after she scared the pants from him. Just like they planned.

„ I see. You weren't kidding when you said that you hoped you and I would be on the same page.“ He said, his look resting on the demon for a second who was looking out of the window, her arms crossed but Minseok was sure she listened to everything he was saying.

„ You should have taken my advice.“ He nodded, taking a drag on his cigarette and expelling the smoke slowly.

„ I want 25 percent of the ticket sales, combined with some profit from your school's sale.“

„ Just because you have to pay alimony for two ex wives doesn't mean I will grant you the money for that from the charity. You get 15 percent and none of our sales profit.“ Minseok heard her calculated voice from behind him, seeing the sudden widening of Mister Cha's eyes.

„ I told you I did my homework on you, Mister Cha. Did you finally pay that parking ticket from December?“ Wow. Just the right amount of creepy. Nice. Minseok rubbed his chin, looking pensive for a moment.

„ You said two ex wives?“ I  wonder why. The guy is a delight.

„ How about 18 percent and nothing of the sales? I think it's fair enough for both of you. Middle ground.“ The look she gave him was hilarious and he could practically hear her voice yell at him in his head. This non conversation-conversation was fun thing to do.

I told you not to improvise on me!

The guy has two ex wives! Give him a break. I am a peacekeeper here, right? He needs to believe I am looking out for him. She rolled her eyes at him and returned to look through the window, clearly not amused but she didn't disagree. The fat man nodded, considering it.

„ Fine. 18 percent. Something else?“ He heard her scoff silently from behind but she didn't intervene, letting Minseok lead the coversation.

„ More exhibition places. You giving us 10 is not enough.“

„ I don't need my park being overrun by your science projects. People will need to move freely.“ Minseok spoke with a convincing tone, spreading his lips into a polite smile.

„ And they will, I assure, we will talk about their placement right here soon so they don't get into anybody's way, all right?“

„ As soon as you get back from Gangwon, Mister Cha, we will be here, expecting you. 20 exhibition places.“ He heard her from behind, increasing the bid. I will ask for too much, you find me 16 places and I will be satisfied. He heard her voice in the playroom and remembered the way she glanced through the documents she printed out. The mere complex can't handle many exhibition places so I will have to be limited. But not by him. That douche won't set up anymore conditions for me.

„ That's too much! I can maybe give you 13 and no more.“ Yeon Hee raised her eyebrow before casually shrugging her shoulders.

„ Do I need to give your wives a number of a very good lawyer so they can get even more alimony?“

„ 15.“ He said through his clenched teeth.

„ 16 and let's call it a day.“ Minseok said, glancing between them. She rolled her eyes this time in an obvious manner so the manager could see she was disagreeeing,

„ Mister Cha?“ He looked at him, his face puffy again as he violently tossed the bud of his cigarette into the ashtray.

„ Fine. But I will have a say in their placement here!“

„ You will have some say, Mister Cha. We'll make sure of that.“ Minseok said calmly.Yep, just as much as she lets you have it.

„ And that leaves us with the media coverage. I understand this serves to project the park in a good light but what you are asking for seems a little too much, don't you think?“ He looked at him and then tilted his head behind him pointing at the demon in case he didn't understand. Dude. Just don't.

„ We will make sure you are presented more than enough in the media and everybody will be talking about your admirable humanitarian nature, I promise.“ He continued, still looking at him. The man shook his head in distaste before clenching his teeth.

„ You damn kids are going to cost me everything.“

„ But luckily, no more of your time today. Do we have an agreement Mister Cha?“ She asked, moving away from the window and looking straight at him.

„ Yes.“ She clapped a little and smiled.

„ Very well. I will have our lawyer write a contract for you to sign. I'll make sure you get it soon. It was very interesting meeting you Mister Cha.“

„ Wait, wait, a lawyer, a contract?“ He asked in panic, rising from his chair. Minseok nodded, getting up.

„ We don't leave anything to chance Mister Cha.“

„ Is that going to be a problem?“ She asked, digging into her bag and taking out a card. She put it on his desk and smiled widely.

„ If you have any questions, don't be shy to call me and I will make sure to explain everything to you. I think there will be no need for you to call my associate again. No, I know there will be no need to call her again. Are we on the same page here?“ The innocent kind girl is off limits from now on, dude. You are stuck with the Fury.

„ Can't I call you instead?“ He asked in panic, looking at Minseok. Oh, you poor bastard.

„ Yeah, I think that would be better. Write my number down.“ He told him his number and suppressed a  smug smile looking at her nochalant face, impatience only obvious in her brown eyes.

„ Very well, Mister Cha, I am grateful for your time today and I do hope there will be no need for this kind of tense meetings in the future.“ And a silent threat in the end. Classic. She bowed again, this time barely supressing a smirk and left, with Minseok bowing at Mister Cha and following her outside, nodding at the short woman who served them coffee. He found Yeon Hee in front of the door, looking at the sky with her arms crossed.

„ It's going to rain.“ She said, her voice now relaxed. She then turned to him and pointed her finger in accusation.

„ 18 percent?! He is lucky I even considered 15!“

„ Two ex wives, demon. Can't a guy catch a break?“ She scoffed and started walking and what do you know, soon enough small droplets of rain started to fall on them as they made their way through the park with Yeon Hee hissing her next words silently.

„ I wonder who would marry him once, much less twice.“ Minseok shrugged his shoulders in response.

„ It must be the cigarette smell which is so enchanting for the ladies.“ She sighed again while they were passing a dramatic looking bungalow, painted with tarot cards and large latters which said The third eye. Minseok narrowed his eyes for a quick second, his footsteps slowing down in front of it. What was that? A fortune teller? He heard her voice a couple of meters ahead and he rushed to catch her before she slipped away.

„ God, I wanted to drink that coffee so badly.“ She mumbled in her chin, continuing to walk.

„ I think you can do aegyo in a coffee shop too.“  He nonchalantly responded, enjoying the exasperated hiss she gave him as they passed through the gate.

„ Fine. I get it. You were slightly useful today. I'll do the freaking aegyo.“ He smirked, knowing full well it irritated her more than anything when he did it.

„ Oh, I know you will.“

***********************************

 Yeon Hee's  POV

„ I need to find a place to park. You mind going in first?“  Yeon Hee stepped off the motorcycle like it was the most normal thing to do and looked at him while pursing her lips. The rain started getting stronger on their way to the coffee shop so he stopped in front of it, wanting her to go in first. Her eyes lingered on the thick drops of rain falling on his hair, making it seem darker. He raised his eyebrow at her silence before she finally managed to snap out of her thoughts.

„ You trust me that I won't escape?“ He smirked at her like she was being childish.

„ Order me tea. Unlike you....I already had my coffee.“ He drove off, not putting his helmet back on, leaving silent curses after him. Douche. Bag. She sighed and released her high bun which was causing her a slight headache and let her hair down going into the adorable looking store to be greeted by an older woman and by the looks of it her daughter.

„ Good day, customer. How can I help you?“ Said the younger one, smiling. Yeon Hee blew away a strand of her hair and smiled a little in return even though she was dying on the inside. Aegyo. In public.Oh, God, kill me now. Wait a minute....

„ Can I get a more private booth, please?“ The younger one pouted her lips in surprise and nodded, bowing slightly.

„ Follow me, please.“ She took her on the side, pointing at a small both which was more or less hidden from the rest of the shop.

„ Is this alright?“ Well, I won't be seen making a fool of myself in front of the whole store. Just one jac
