After the first game, Yoongi, Namjoon and Taehyung arrived. Taehyung brought his puppy with him, because he said there was no one who would be left at home for the puppy. They brought their gifts for Chanyeol who grinned at the sight of the puppy. He went to talk to the puppy and asked it what gift it had for him. The puppy his face and Chanyeol handed the dog back to Taehyung. Jimin saw the dog and went to pat it.

Jimin: Oh, here's baby Taetae. Hello baby...come to nanny Jiminnie.

Taehyung: His name is V! He's already confused when I call him V and you call him Taetae.

Jimin: I don't care. Nanny's gonna take care of Taetae, come here puppy...come to nanny Jiminnie.

Namjoon: He doesn't chase or bark at me so much anymore.

Taehyung: A bummer. I wanted him to always chew your shoes. Hahaha.

Namjoon: Xiao Yi did an amazing job, ya know. I'm friends with Taetae now.

Chanyeol: Say, Yoongi hyung, how's your swimming competition?

Yoongi: Got silver.

Chanyeol: Ahh, daebak! Congratulations hyung!

Yoongi: It's just second place. I wanted first place, but I wasn't that fast for the YSI swimmer.

Lay: Yo, bruh. How's swimteam?

Yoongi: Second place, bruh.

Lay: That's good. Congrats.

Yoongi: Second best, orz.

Lay: We'll get them next time.

Yoongi: That's my plan.

Lay: Cool. Right now, let's get you some food and enjoy the party.

Yoongi: Oh, I'm playing first. I'm gonna win this game. If I can only get second place in swimteam, I'll be first place in paintball.

Chanyeol: Alright. Suit up, hyung. I'll go save you some food.

Taehyung: I wanna join.

Namjoon: Me too. I'll eat later.

Chanyeol: Okay. Next game in ten minutes. I'll just save you food.

Namjoon: Thanks. Happy birthday, Yeol.

Chan: Aww...I'm touched. Thanks, thanks. Heehee.

I went to pat the puppy's head as Jimin carried it. Taehyung had let V wear a red shirt and puppy shorts. I laughed when I noticed he also had the puppywear diapers.

Me: Hahahahah. You're wearing diapers, Taetae?

Jimin: Huh? Where?

Me: There inside his puppy shorts.

Jimin: Why didn't I notice that, Taetae? Huh? Nanny's got an easy job today. Hahaha.

Me: You can sing him to sleep then.

Jimin: I think he wants to eat cake.

Me: Are you sure about that?

Jimin: Yeah. Taehyung gives him cake.

Me: Weird.

Jimin: You said it. But you wanna see? LOL.

Me: Okay?

Jimin: Wait, here hold him. I'll just get him some cake.

And he handed me the puppy while he went to get cake. I carried the puppy in both arms and cradled it like a baby. It behaved really well and didn't even squirm when I tried to squish it. LOL. I always wondered how it felt like being the one who squishes rather than the one being sqished. It felt fulfilling. Hahaha. I could squish a puppy, but not my brothers though. Grrr...

Jimin returned with a small plate of cake. He sat down beside me and took the cake between his thumb and forefinger. He let the puppy sniff it first before he pushed the cake into its mouth. V the icing off the cake first before it went to nibble little pieces off the cake. Jimin was amused while he fed the puppy. He was laughing and cheering the puppy on. I just rolled my eyes, but laughed all the same. Jungkook and Kai passed by, still wearing paintball vests and stopped to laugh at the puppy. Jungkook got more cake and went to feed the puppy too. But all the while, he didn't talk or look at me. He only addressed Jimin and Kai....and the puppy.

I wish I was the puppy.

He was ignoring me again. Earlier, he smiled at me.

Why are you doing this?

He was laughing with Jimin and Kai. But he was ignoring me. Even if he was right in front of me, it felt like I was invisible. I saw Taeyong shift in his seat from the corner of my eye. His brother, Jeno had joined the no rules game which was playing now. Seul Gi was talking to some girl classmates of Chanyeol who was invited to the party.

"Chen! That is cheating!"

"Isn't this the no rules game?"

"Aaaaarrghhhh! Why did I join this game? Time out! I'm going out!"

"No Kris ge, you can't"

"Aaaahhhh! Shut it! I'm out this game!"

"You're not going anywhere, Li Shang!"

"Get your hands off me, Mulan. Get..get...get your...hands off me! Ahhhh!!! Mamaaa!"

"Your mama's in Japan!"

"I hate you!"

"Kris! Tagged!"

"FINE! BYE!"

And the dragon king got out of the arena. He took off the goggles and sniffed. He was mumbling and wiping his face with his arm. He went to put the paintball gun on the floor and took off the protective vest. He saw me with the puppy and when he saw Jungkook with us, he walked over.

Kris: Xiao Yi, go to Seul Gi and talk to her.

Me: Why?

Kris: You're the host, entertain the guests.

Me: She's already talking to some new friends.

Kris: Just go.

Me: No.

Kris: Alright. I'm staying here.

Me: Suit yourself, ge.

"Yoongi! Tagged!"

"I hate you, Namjoon-ah!"

"Sorry, hyung!"

"Ayayayayayyy! I'm a failuuuuure!"

"Better luck next time, hyung!"

"Aishhhh! I'll go for another game later!"

Yoongi went out the arena and went to sit by the buffet table. He pulled his food toward him and ate. Some of the guests looked at him and why he went to sit at the buffet table. But Suho went to sit with him and they both ate and talked. Lay had followed and went to eat at the buffet table, too.

Nobody kill the buzz of the kings of this party. LOL.

I took one of the puppy's paws in my hand and poked Kris' arm with it. He had seated himself on the floor beside me and was looking at the scoreboard. When he felt the furry paw on his arm, he jerked upward and almost screamed in shock. I laughed at him and he had to playfully push me with his elbow.

Me: That's for bossing me around.

Kris: Ouch. You use a dog to get even?

Me: Yes.

Kris: Remind me to squish you later.

Me: No. I won't.

Kris: I'll remember anyway.

"CHANYEOL TAGGED!"

Game over.

Because the birthday boy got tagged. It meant that there was a new set of players next. Chanyeol and the rest inside the arena went out laughing. Chen the most.

Chanyeol: Chen is a pro, you know that? I was not...I was not...Aaaahhh...rrrrggghhhh

Luhan: I told you to be in our team.

Chan: I wanted to win by myself.

Luhan: Sorry, bro.

Chanyeol: He climbed that post! Did you see?

Chen: I'm a pro, you just said it.

Chan: Why did you go all sniper on me?

Chen: Nobody tells the enemy their strategy, ne?

Chan: I'm playing again. I'll still be in the other team.

Luhan: Three teams next game?

Chan: Yeah. Sure.

Of course, there was a third game. This time, all my brothers and the Mins and Kims joined. Even Kyungsoo suited up and got his battle gear ready. He was laughing so much when the vest came falling off the shoulder and he had to ask Luhan to tape it so it won't fall. Kris had found a smaller vest and gave it to him. He took off the loose one and replaced it with the smaller vest. Sehun and Kai went to choose teams with Jungkook and Jimin. Jin and Luhan with Chen and Lay. Suho went with Chanyeol. Kris joined Chen's team because he didn't want to loose. Yoongi and Taehyung also chose Chen's team. Xiumin chose Chanyeol'steam with Namjoon, J, and Tao.

Taeyong got up from his seat and went to enlist in Chanyeol's team. He eyed Jungkook and smirked. They would be in different teams.

Oh, what was going on?

Jungkook geared up and he acted as if he was racking the slide of the gun, ready to shoot. He smirked at Taeyong as well and flipped his bangs and walked over to his teammates.

I held on to V's leash as the puppy tried to follow his master to the arena. Taehyung patted the puppy's head and told him to behave.

"Stay with your eomma, okay? Appa will just go play."

Taeyong heard that and he cleared his throat as he entered the arena, deliberately elbowing Taehyung in the process. Jungkook smiled sarcastically at the boss' son as Taehyung glared at the other guy.

Taehyung: Hey! What did you do that for?

Taeyong: Ooops, sorry. I didn't see you.

Taehyung: Yeah right.

Jeno had excused himself from joining this game as he went to continue eating. He came by to pat V's head after he ate. Papa had excused himself from the party as he was needed somewhere. Mama remained for a little bit as she instructed the party coordinator and the attendants. Seul Gi went to sit beside me and played with the puppy.

Seul Gi: Is he yours?

Me: No, he's Taehyung's.

Seul Gi: Oh, the Min kid?

Me: Yes, their youngest brother.

Seul Gi: You love dogs?

Me: A bit, yes. But papa has not allowed any pets inside the house, so we didn't get one.

Seul Gi: I have a dog.

Me: Did you bring her here in China?

Seul Gi: Yes, in our hotel suite.

Me: You love dogs, too. That's nice.

Seul Gi: I've always loved animals.

Me: Do you like wild animals?

Seul Gi: Huh? Wild? Like?

Me: Like tigers or lions?

Seul Gi: They look cute, but I don't think I'd want one to keep as a pet.

Me: Ahhh... *nods* You like meek and tamed animals.

Seul Gi: Yes, I do.

Like deers?

Me: Seul Gi eonni, can I ask you a question?

Seul Gi: Okay, sure.

Me: Does your appa know who your boyfriend is?

Seul Gi: No, not yet. I haven't introduced him yet.

Me: Oh. But you will introduce him soon?

Seul Gi: Yes, I will. I'm just waiting for the right time.

The time when you and Luhan ge are finally official?

Me: What is it like, having a boyfriend?

Seul Gi: Oh...it's..it's nice. Having someone who'll take care of you.

But you have housemaids and the like to help take care of you. You got your eomma and appa, too.

Me: That's kinda sweet.

Seul Gi: I know right.

Me: Uhm..is your brother...uhm...

Seul Gi: Naturally annoying? Yes, he is. Hahah. But he's silly sometimes, too.

Me: I don't see how.

Seul Gi: He's grown up with our grandma in the UK. And so he's used to the way of living there.

Me: Oh...

Seul Gi: People are more straightforward there than here. And he's been spoiled a lot.

Me: It shows.

Seul Gi: *giggles* You're nice. I hope you too can get along.

Me: *snorts*

Seul Gi: You...just snorted.

Me: Ahhh...yeah... Sorry.

Seul Gi: No, that's alright. Growing up with twelve boys in the family could be influence enough for you to have boyish mannerisms. I envy you, actually.

Me: Having twelve brothers?

Seul Gi: Yeah.

Or because I can get close to Luhan anytime I want?

"Sehun! Tagged!"

"Lulu cheated!"

"Get out of the arena, Shi Xun!"

"He threw a paint balloon at me!"

"No rules game!"

"I'm not going out!"

"Jimin! Tagged!"

"Three tags and I'm out! I'm staying!"

"You two, go out now!"

"NO!"

Seul Gi: I can't go join games like this. I know I'll just end up being tagged first.

Me: I joined earlier and it was fun. Even if I got tagged early in the game.

Seul Gi: Didn't you slip or slide in there?

Me: I did, but it's okay. It's fun being chased and shot with the paint.

Seul Gi: I'd rather play basketball.

Oh, so you like dragons now?

Me: Kris ge is on the basketball team this year. His first and last.

Seul Gi: Why first and last?

Me: Because he's such a silly dragon that he just decided to join at the last year.

Seul Gi: Oh...how about Luhan...and Xiumin?

You mean, just Luhan?

Me: He's been in the soccer team since day one. Him and Xiumin oppa. Lu ge is the team captain.

Seul Gi: That's cool.

Yes, exactly. You ask too much questions about my brothers. Do you or do you not have a boyfriend?

Me: Oh, by the way, did Suho ge already invited you to their pre-gala show next Saturday?

Seul Gi: Yes, he did. I and my brothers will be going.

Me: Great. Chen oppa will be singing solo...he has three performances I think. And Kai will dance and be part of the play. Do you know what character he is playing?

Seul Gi: What?

Me: A soldier.

Seul Gi: Wow. He must be really manly to be picked as a soldier. What about Suho?

Me: He's behind the camera. He's production staff. Assistant director.

"Luhan! Tagged!"

"Tao! Tagged!"

"No paint ballon bombing!"

"Kai! Tagged!"

"Hahaha! That's not me!"

"My bad! Yoongi! Tagged!"

"Aaaaarrghhhh! I quit!"

"No need, hyung. You're tagged."

One by one they got tagged. The only ones left in the game were Chanyeol, Chen, Kris, Taehyung, Jungkook, Taeyong and Kyungsoo. The rest who were tagged lined up outside the arena looking up at the scoreboard. Luhan and Xiumin were laughing at Sehun who was still grumbling about Luhan using a paint balloon. I saw Seul Gi watching Luhan from the corner of my eye.

I think you like Lulu.

Kris got tagged.

Kyungsoo got tagged.

Chen was surprisingly tagged.

There were only four people left inside. Unless Chanyeol got tagged, the game goes on. What were the four people doing inside that they have not been tagged at all?

Jimin went to pat the puppy. He squatted on the floor as he played with the puppy. I was still holding the leash and watching play with V. My mind was swimming in images of Jungkook trying to tag Taeyong or Taehyung. I could also imagine Taeyong strutting like a G.I. Joe and hunting down Jungkook. He probably won't see Taehyung as a rival. Taehyung would be finding ways to tag Jungkook in the easiest way possible and to Taeyong the brutalist way ever. Chanyeol would be forgotten.

That's why the game has not finished.

Nobody minded to tag Chanyeol.

They were busy trying to tag each other.

What for?

Me.

That was not a question. I knew what they were trying to do. Outdo each other. And forgetting it was just a game. And that they needed to tag Chanyeol.

"He wants to win for you."

I was brought back to reality. Jimin had spoken. It was barely audible. I was the only intended recipient of that sentence. Seul Gi was still sitting beside me but her attention was on Luhan who was talking animatedly with Xiumin and Kris and pointing at the scoreboard. Nothing was happening inside. No sound. No one shouting. Suho had wanted to check if the boys were okay inside. Chen had said that there was no need to check. He was the last one to get tagged and he knew that the people inside were taking the game seriously.

Me: Huh?

Jimin: Taehyung and Taeyong are inside, right?

Me: And?

Jimin: Kookie doesn't talk much, but he's a doer. When he wants to accomplish something, he'll just do it, and not talk a lot.

Me: Why would he do that?

Jimin: Win for you?

Me: Yes.

Jimin: That's not hard to guess.

And he smiled and picked up the puppy.

Jimin: Here, let me take care of Taetae now. Nanny Jiminnie is here, puppy-yah.

I was dumbfounded and just nodded at him. I gave him the end of the leash and he sat on the floor playing with the puppy. Kai and Sehun came over and sort of harrassed the puppy buy making it dance like a baby. Chen went to join them.

He was taking the competition seriously. Not the game.

"Chanyeol! Tagged!"

Kris: Whoaaa! At last the game's ended.

Luhan: Who tagged the birthdat boy?

Chanyeol went out the arena wearing a bored look. He still had the flag with him, and he had a yellow mark on his chest.

Luhan: Did you tag yourself?

Chan: Yeah, yeah.

Luhan: Where are the others?

Chan: Coming out now. I don't know why nobody even bothered to chase me or hit me, so I shot myself...right in the kokoro.

He slumped on the floor and raised the paintball gun and the flag.

"Yay! I won! I tagged myself, too orz."

The three who were taking the game seriously went out, following Chanyeol. Taehyung looked bored as well and went to remove his gear. He sat on the floor and watched while Jimin and the others played with his puppy.

Taeyong: So, tomorrow?

Jungkook: Yeah.

Taeyong: 3 PM?

Jungkook: Arasseo.

Taeyong: Ne, see you then.

Jungkook: Sure.

Taeyong: Try harder than what I saw. I'll win, you know.

Jungkook: Keep telling yourself that.

Smirk.

Why are they smirking at each other?

What was 3 PM tomorrow?

What was harder that Jungkook had to try?

What?

What?

I looked at both of them alternately. They looked serious. Taeyong saluted and went to remove his gear and told Jeno to get him a change of clothes in the car, to which the younger obliged. Jungkook removed his gear and disappeared again.

Where is he?

Why is he ignoring me again?

"Relax. He's just in the men's room, changing his clothes."

It was Jimin again. I think his brother was observing me a lot. I rolled my eyes at him and he chuckled. He went to give the puppy to Taehyung and he got up, excused himself saying he was going to change his clothes. He half ran, half walked to the men's room after he grabbed his bag from his chair. Jin was now back and had changed his clothes. Xiumin, Kris, Luhan, Suho and Lay had also gone and returned with a change of clothes. The younger ones didn't bother to do so. They busied themselves with abusing Chen's sniper attacks. Chen just grinned and didn't mind them making fun of his cheating tactic.

He returned from the men's room, already changed his clothes. He went to sit by himself near the door. He took out his phone and started texting. He looked serious. And then he waited. He was tapping his knee with his palm and looked like he was humming to himself. Then he checked his phone. I think a message came in, because he started swiping and tapping again. He was smiling.

Who was texting with?

Wait. Was I jealous?

No. I wasn't.

I turned my head to look at Taeyong who just walked back in from the men's room. He also had a change of clothes and his hair was sort of wet, falling down his face. He was looking down as he tried to fix the hem of his shirt that was inadvertently tucked in his pocket. He looked up and saw me looking at him. He raised an eyebrow at me and stopped.

He wanted a staring contest.

Fine.

I'll give it to you.

"Xiao Yi, uhm...can I talk to you?"

I turned my head to the sound of that voice.

Jungkook.

"Alone."

BTS Dark and Wild showcase done! OMG my feels! I woke up really early to watch it. And after the showcase, Danger MV. SAHSAJFHASKFHASGAKSJGDASKJD I cannot...I just... *silent scream* Did you watch?
