Youngsaeng rushed out of the room but had absolutely no idea where Taemin had gone. Instead of thinking, he only followed his tracking instinct, which led him out the door of the Night class building and into the forest near the school grounds.

Having no idea where he was heading, he stopped for a while, panting as he looked around at the dark, murky trees. He didn't recognize anything there. Great... Now I'm lost. I guess I can only depend on my guts now.

He clenched his jaw and began going to where his instincts were leading him, running in one direction and through the thick foliage, trying his best to avoid spider webs and wasp nests in the dark. Finally, he could hear rustling from nearby and a faint sound of somebody weeping. He quickly dug through the bushes and saw Taemin crouching at a tree in front of a cliff, in which led down to the shore of a river. He swallowed nervously and slowly crept out, approaching the crying boy.

"Taemin," he whispered as he was a few feet away and the boy suddenly saw him and jumped back, his hand already inflamed.

"Don't get any closer," he shrieked. "You're a monster! How did you know I was here? Go away and leave me alone!"

"Taemin, I'm sorry," Youngsaeng sighed as he knelt there, leaving some space between the two. "I'm really sorry. I just... thought that it would be better for me to talk to you directly than with the others around. Just say anything right now. There's nobody around to disturb or stop you."

"I hate you!" Taemin immeidately screamed at him without hesitation. "I hate you so much!!! I wish you'd just die! Sulli... She didn't deserve to die!!!!! She was such a kind and strong girl, she cared for me like no one ever did! I loved her and I still do!!!!!! You destroyed it!!!!! You completely ended it!!!!! You should've died instead of her! After all, what use are you in ths world? You're just here to kill us, to kill all the vampires, to kill everyone that disobeyes you!!!!! You don't even deserve to live, unlike her!!!!"

Youngsaeng took a deep breath and continued to listen to what Taemin had to say. Youngsaeng understood that Taemin knew how he, himself, felt. Angry. Frustrated. Alone. Excluded. Sad. Aching. But there was one thing he didn't know. He was scared. Frightened that the fox might kill the everyone else, might kill him and the rest of those he loved.

"You should've died instead... You should've..." Taemin hiccupped, his voice fading into sobs. "I wish you'd just... disappear... Just... jump off a cliff and die..."

Youngsaeng stood up. "Jump off a cliff? You really want me to do that?"

Taemin wiped his tears with his sleeve and nodded. "Of course I do! I want you to just get out of my life!"

Youngsaeng smiled and walked over to the ledge and stood at where even a little amount of weight caused loose stones to fall. Taemin's eyes widened. "You... You're actually going to..."

The latter grinned and looked back at the boy. "Well, you told me to do it, didn't you? So I will."

With that, the boy jumped and fell. Taemin screamed.

"No, Youngsaeng!" he cried, hugging the ground. "Youngsaeng! Come back! I don't want you to die! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it at all! I didn't know, I'm so sorry! Forgive me! Forgive me! I didn't mean it, I really didn't. Youngsaeng! I didn't--"

"You really didn't?" the boy's voice came again.

Taemin opened his eyes and saw Youngsaeng grinning as his arms were on the edge of the cliff, the rest of his body hanging down. Taemin, in relief, threw himself on the boy, sobbing like never before.

"Y-You..." he stammered. "I-I... c-can't believe y-you actually did that!!! I-I was so sc-scared... I-I was scared. Frightened..."

Youngsaeng chuckled and pulled himself up. He stood there, Taemin still crying a few feet away from him. He held out his hand and Taemin looked at him in puzzlement.

"Why don't I introduce myself again? We can start over if you'd like. My name's Youngsaeng, what's yours?"

Taemin didn't know what to say and opened his mouth to speak, his hand slowly reaching out to grab Youngsaeng's but without warning, the ground underneath Youngsaeng broke apart and Taemin froze when he saw that the boy in front of him was suddenly gone.
