Comfort
Eternal FlameHyunjoong brought Youngsaeng back to the school and dragged him upstairs to their room. Youngsaeng noticed that Hyunjoong was sweating and panting hard as he kept going. He's bleeding too much... He needs to stop moving around or else he's going to keep bleeding. He's going to collapse at this rate.
Hyunjoong brought Youngsaeng into their room and slammed the door hard behind them. He pushed Youngsaeng onto the bed, gasping. "What did he tell you? What did he ask?"
Youngsaeng stopped him. "Hyunjoong, stop moving so much and lie on the bed. I'm going to go get Hyungjun to treat your wounds, arasseo? You're still bleeding."
"No. I want you to tell me."
"I'll tell you later. For now, just go and sit on the bed!" Youngsaeng ordered before running out of the room.
A few seconds later, the younger boy hurried in with Hyungjun but Hyunjoong had already passed out. Hyungjun went to work right away, his hands glowing with a white light around them as he put his hands on top of the deep wounds, making sure to stop the bleeding before moving to the minor ones.
"He's going to live, right?" Youngsaeng questioned worriedly. "He's just unconscious, right?"
Hyungjun nodded. "Yeah, of course he's going to live. He's a vampire. We don't die just from the loss of blood but we become incredibly weak and are more vulnerable to sicknesses, our healing also becomes slower."
"... So it's going to take him longer than usual to heal from these wounds?" Youngsaeng asked.
The boy nodded as the white glow around his hands faded and he sat down with a sigh. "He should wake up soon but I don't think he'll have enough energy to even walk on his own."
"Eh?!" Youngsaeng exclaimed in shock. "No way! How's he going to use the washroom and eat?"
Hyungjun shrugged. "Don't ask me. It's his business."
"Thanks for your help, Hyungjun," the older boy said with a smile. "I'm guessing that must've been tiring."
Hyungjun nodded. "I'm leaving now. I need to sleep. See ya."
Youngsaeng waved and exhaled when the latter had closed the door behind him. He turned to look at the unconscious boy. I feel like it's my fault... If I was just a bit stronger, then I wouldn't have let him fight. Because I was so weak, he had to protect me. If only I had discovered the summoning power earlier...
He went to his desk and opened the drawer, pulling out a knife. He slit his skin on his wrist and hurried over to Hyunjoong, forcing his mouth open and letting the blood drip into the boy's mouth. A few seconds later, the wound closed on its own.
"Hyunjoong...?" Youngsaeng murmured when he saw that the boy was starting to stir. "Wake up..."
The boy slowly opened his eyes and saw Youngsaeng with a slight smile. "Are you okay? How do you feel?"
Hyunjoong tried to sit up but fell back on the back due to the lack of strength. Youngsaeng quickly supported him. "Hyunjoong, drink blood from my neck. It'll give you more strength."
"But I don't want you to pass out again. Last time you did and it scared me..."
"Drinking blood will help your strength come back faster," Youngsaeng said. "I won't pass out, don't worry. I'll tell you when I feel faint, okay?"
Hyunjoong reluctantly bent forward and opened his mouth, his fangs pointier than usual. He the neck skin first, making Youngsaeng moan slightly before gently biting down. Youngsaeng shut his eyes, being careful not to move as Hyunjoong his blood.
A few seconds later, the older boy pulled out from the boy and wiped his mouth. Youngsaeng looked at him with concern. "Was that enough?"
He nodded. "Yeah, I feel stronger already."
Youngsaeng smiled. "Okay. Lie down and go to sleep."
"How about the bite marks?"
"They'll heal on their own. Don't worry."
Hyunjoong nodded and pulled Youngsaeng down onto the bed, hugging him tightly and breathing in his sweet smell. "Stay with me for now... I'm going to ask you about what my father said to you when I wake up, okay?"
"Neh, I don't mind. I can tell you right now, if you want."
Hyunjoong looked at the boy with anticipation.
"He... just said that I reminded him from a girl he loved named Maria because of my silver eyes. And then he said that in order to summon a creature, I had to know its whereabouts and have a relationship with it," Youngsaeng explained.
"How did you answer his questions?"
"I didn't reply... I guess... And then he leaned in..." the younger boy's voice got softer as he spoke.
Hyunjoong hugged the boy tighter. "If anything like that happens again. Make sure to tell me. I'll protect you, arasseo?"
Youngsaeng smiled and closed his eyes. "Neh~"
