CHAPTER 1

A BITTERSWEET MEMORY

It was a cold night. The sound of the cars passing by, the voices of the pedestrians chatting with each other, and other sounds coming from unknown sources can be heard outside a dark room in  an apartment. Loud sobs can be heard from that room. The moon served as the only source of light from that moment. There was a girl curled up like a ball crying her heart out. She has been in that position for hours now. This was not the first time that the girl has done this. She has been crying every night since that day.

Flashback

A girl received a text from her lover asking her if they could meet at a park near her place. Upon reading the message, the girl went crazy and she responded to her lover saying that she’ll be there in an hour.

She took a bath for half an hour and she went straight to her closet to find something that would be comfortable and would make her stand out among the rest. It took her 45 minutes to choose her clothes and do some beauty rituals before proceeding to the park. Luckily for her, her lover was still there, patiently waiing for her even though she was late for half an hour.

Her lover welcomed her with a smile plastered in his face while stretching his arms waiting for his lover to come for his embrace. Both of them were smiling as they cherish their moment in each other’s embrace.
