Ten days later, Mrs. Choi discharged from the hospital. Zelo spent time with her often, which somehow made Yongguk anxious. His reason for his anxiousness came valid when one balmy Saturday afternoon, Zelo gathered everyone for an important announcement.

Youngjae sank onto the armchair and crossed his arms. “This better be good, Zelo. I did not just cancel the opera show that Eunhae wanted to see for some useless information.”

“Don’t worry, hyung. I won’t waste your time.” Zelo calmly promised.

Youngjae looked baffled. *It was just a joke, but when did he become so serious?*

Daehyun and you entered the living room. You sat next to Jongup on the floor, while Daehyun sat behind you on the couch.

“Okay so everyone is here, right?” Himchan looked around.

“Everyone is present and called for.” Jongup smiled and nodded.

You peered at him and saw the dark bags under his eyes. *Jongup oppa has been practicing a little too hard for his dance performance. I hope he’s getting enough sleep though. From his dark circles, I could tell that wasn’t possible.*

Himchan reclined back in his seat and lazily waved his hand, “You may proceed Judge Zelo.” Youngjae and Jongup snickered. However, Yongguk was not smiling. His eyes were grave. He knew Zelo had something imperative to share, and it was making him edgy. “What did you want to tell us?” Yongguk asked in his deep voice, trying to remain as calm as possible.

“Yeah, man. What did you gather us all here for?” Youngjae questioned.

Zelo cleared his throat, “I wanted all of you to come today because I had something to say.”

“We know, Zelo. That Pororo we saw yesterday was not yours.” Youngjae joked, making Himchan and Jongup laugh. Yongguk sent them dark looks, and they all shut up. “Come tell us, Junhong. We’re curious now.” Himchan said.

Zelo opened his mouth but froze. He couldn’t say it when all eyes were on him. *Himchan hyung. Although we fought a lot, he was always one of my favorite hyungs. Jongup hyung. He was the hyung I was closest to. Daehyun hyung. He seemed so distant, but he always had the wisest things to say to me. Youngjae hyung. He acts like he doesn’t care when he cares the most. Yeojin noona. She is everything sweet, and there is no other girl like her. I understand why Daehyun hyung is in love with her. And last but not least, Yongguk hyung. He was the one person who I could always rely on. My childhood hero wasn’t someone superficial like Batman or Superman, but it was Yongguk hyung. I could always count on him to rely on. How am I supposed to live without these people in my life?* His eyes already watered at the thought.

“Zelo, are you crying?” Jongup asked.

“What?!” Youngjae and Daehyun sat up. Yongguk’s eyesbrows furrowed, while Himchan went on a rampage.

“What the hell is going on?! Did you assemble us because you’re bullied?! That’s it, right?! Someone is messing with you?! Yongguk, go kick their asses! Nobody messes with Himchan’s dongsaeng!”

Yongguk shot him a look. Himchan closed his mouth and sat back down.

“Zelo, you need to tell us what is going on.” Yongguk patiently spoke.

Zelo didn’t look up.

“Come on, Junhong. You can tell us anything.” Yongguk whispered.

“Hurry up, will you?” Youngjae impatiently snapped.

Zelo blurted, “I’m leaving!” Everyone stared at him in bafflement. None of you had any idea what he was talking about. The possibility of him leaving forever never crossed any of your minds.

“Leaving to where?” Himchan asked.

“I’m leaving…to America.” Zelo shamefully lowered his head.

It took three seconds for his words to sink in.

“WHAT?!”

“CHOI JUNHONG!”

“YOU SERIOUSLY GAVE INTO THAT WITCH!”
