“Good Morning, I am Jessica Jung.” The VP introduced herself. Sooyoung could see that the woman was not even smiling. Usually when people introduce themselves, they would smile; at least that’s how she is.  “I will be leading the project and if there are any matters arising, please direct it to Tiffany, my assistant or to myself.” She said seriously.

“We will be creating another server or platform for the customers to channel their concerns with regards to their banking accounts. I know the amount of calls coming in from the customers is somehow unbearable for the staff to handle. Therefore, with this new platform, the customer service representatives would be even more organize.” She added.

“I need committed people in this project; someone who is loyal to the company, and would never think the company as a hole.” Jessica said.

Sooyoung felt like something had stabbed her from the back. Her was sweating and her heart was beating so fast only god knows. Everyone was stunned the moment the VP said that.

“I thought I needed 5 representatives for this project, but I think having 4 is more than enough.” She added. “So you, Choi Sooyoung right?” She pointed at the nervous sweating Sooyoung.

“I won’t be needing you here.” She said with a serious face. Sooyoung was speechless she didn’t know what to do. “If you want to quit, go ahead. There are thousands of people out there who are willing to work here.” She said as she crossed her arms.

“Report back to your manager.” Jessica instructed. Everyone in the room was looking at her. She had never been that embarrassed her whole life. She felt like she needed to justify the woman what she was rambling earlier, but she knew the woman won’t buy it. So, she stood up from the chair and left the room.

“Ms Jessica, we needed her.. We can’t do this with just 4 people.” Tiffany, her assistant spoke to her. “Find me a new one then.” Jessica replied strictly. “I don’t need people like that in my company.” She continued. Everyone in the room started to feel nervous; they didn’t expect the woman to be that tough.

“I have determined your working schedule for this one whole month. You are allowed to do the assigned task from your home. But whenever you are required to come to the office, you are compulsory to do so.” Jessica looked at the remaining 4 people.

Then Tiffany handed each of them a piece of paper; containing their working schedule as well as their respective tasks. All work had been divided accordingly to 5 staff. But since the VP had kicked Sooyoung out of the project, Tiffany might need to look for a replacement asap.

Sooyoung carried her heavy feet down back to level 3. “How could you be so stupiddd!!!” She hit her own head. “You are seriously the stupidest person in this world!!!” She said to herself. Then she placed her work ID to the ID sensor and went inside the contact center department also known as the hole.

“Eh Sooyoung?” Yuri was surprised to see her. “Yul, it’s my last day today.” Sooyoung revealed. “What? No! How come! I thought you joined a project??” Yuri couldn’t believe what she just heard. “Well, the VP didn’t want me in the project.” Sooyoung explained.

“Why would she don’t you?? You’re like the best contact center agent for 5 years in a row!” Yuri was wondering why. “Did you say anything to her??” Yuri quickly asked. She knew how l

“Hmm.. of course no!!” Sooyoung quickly nodded her head.

“Seriously Sooyoung? What did your lousy mouth do now??” She asked.

“What with this nonsense Kwon Yuri??” Sooyoung was trying to defend herself. Although deep down she knew it was pointless.

“CHOI SOOYOUNG!!!” Sooyoung suddenly heard her name was being screamed out from behind. “Oh god, I’m dead.”  Sooyoung mumbled to Yuri.

“I’m going to pretend that I didn’t hear her.” Sooyoung said to Yuri. “Quick, talk to me!” She exclaimed to Yuri.

“CHOI SOOYOUNG, GET YOUR OVER HERE!!”

“Boss, she’s pretending that she doesn’t hear you.” Yuri turned behind and told Seohyun.

“Yuriiii!!!” Sooyoung hit her friend’s arm. “Go away, I need to be back on line.” Yuri smiled as she wore her headset. Again, she carried her heavy feet towards her boss.

“CHOI SOOYOUNG, I JUST GOT A CALL FROM THE VP’S ASSISTANT SAYING THAT YOU CALLED THE COMPANY A HOLE??” Seohyun seemed beyond furious. She had never seen her boss that furious before.

“I didn’t say it like thattttt..” Sooyoung whined. “I said I hate answering calls and I called this department a hole. I di
