Heavy eyes, still deprived from sleep due to the persistent thoughts I had about that guy last night till four in the morning. An aching back, probably from twisting and turning, and ending up sleeping at the wrong side. A weak body that couldn't move because something was trapping me in my sleep.

I groaned in utter exasperation as I squirmed on my bed but failed to break loose since even my legs got tangled by something. What in the world is even happening? Is someone trying to kill me in my sleep?

Reluctantly, I let my eyelids open to a crack and saw a blurry view of black in front of me. I carefully moved my hands to touch it and I found myself smiling when I sensed how fluffy what I am running my fingers through is. It was so soft that I just moved closer and placed my lips close to it, let the familiar smell waft through my nose, and let my arms tangle around the thing to hug it close to me. I was smiling like an idiot when I felt warmness spread through my body when I moved closer. I closed my eyes again to sleep, but the warm air that kept blowing through the fabric of my my pajama and touched my skin in a rhythmic pattern made me open my eyes again. It's warm and funny how it tickles. I stifled a giggle as I continued to feel the unusual sensation, but I rather stiffended when I felt the hold around me tighten.

Did something just move next to me?

My eyes fluttered open, and sleep suddenly left me, as I started to figure out what was so close to me. Hair through my fingers, familiar scent, arms around my waist, legs tangled with mine, and that warm air as someone's breath fanning through my pajama. I nervously looked down to what I was holding and I felt my insides twist when I recognized the all too familiar messy black hair invading my sight. I scrunched my nose when I slightly moved my head to take a peek of the person holding me. He was sleeping soundly like an angel with the muscles on his face loose and calm. Somehow, I smiled at the sight of him like that next to me. And the thought of how he got here and when he even invaded my room and laid next to me didn't even matter. All the anger, frustration, confusion and disappointment I felt for him before were long forgotten after seeing him.

I slightly pulled his arm loose around me so I could shift down to his level and observe his sleeping face better. He was too good looking that I could just honestly spend the whole day staring at him, admiring his flawless features—defined jawline, long lashes, hypnotizing eyes, cute nose, plump lips, but his fluffy hair dyed back to black would always be my favorite!

Since when did he even dye his hair back to his natural black? Was I too full of my emotions last night that I didn't notice it? Feeling a bit silly about how stupid I must have looked last night, I just breathed out and closed my eyes as I held the sides of his face and connected my forehead with his.

"I must had been too harsh on you, I'm sorry." I muttered out softly, knowing that he was still asleep and wouldn't be able to hear me.

I remained in my position for long, pursing my lips as I reflected to myself with how bad I acted towards him because I was so full with many emotions. I'm hurt but I probably shouldn't have taken it out on him all at once. Seeing him now, he must have sensed something was wrong with me and now he even slept here so he would be sure that I wouldn't get away. He'll probably fire me with tons of question until he's satisfied and he wouldn't let me go until I finally feel okay again with him.

Delving deeply into my own thoughts, it was too late when I realized how a pair of warm lips had captured mine. I gasped in surprise when I noticed, but relaxed when I felt him my hair fondly while drowning himself to the kiss which drove me rather insane yet again. I responded to the touch of his lips, slightly parting with his at times, but only to be hauled back by his lips again once more every time I try to pull back. He managed to roll us both around without having to break the kiss, with my back flat on the mattress and him above me, his body closing the gap between us as he finally pulls back just to look at me. He smiled widely when he noticed me observing his face without saying anything, and stared at me lovingly for long.

"Good morning, beautiful." He spoke out as he held the side of my face with a hand and touched my lips with his thumb.

I blinked my eyes at him and pulled away from my own reverie as I looked away, feeling quite flustered after hearing him call me 'beautiful' just now. "Who's beautiful?" I nonchalantly asked, trying to convince myself that I can't simply accept him complimenting me like that.

"Well, you. Who else do you think was I calling 'beautiful' when you're the only girl here?" I saw how he rolled his eyes at me when I happened to take a short glance at him that I just scrunched up my nose in annoyance at his mockery.

Not wanting to make him feel like he just won a fight over me, I placed my hands on his chest to push him away, but he won't budge just yet. "Well, I'm sorry but my name is not 'beautiful'. You must have called another girl's name." He scoffed in disbelief when he heard that from me and looked at me incredulously.

"You sure know how to ruin the mood huh." He jeered bitterly as he moved away from me. But I only chortled when I finally couldn't hold the amusement in anymore with the way how he reacted.

"You're no sport." I snorted as I sat up and tapped his nose lightly.

"Well, I did try to tolerate you, but you obviously ruined all my effort to appear sweet and all." He uttered out bitterly as he heaved me one sharp stare before looking away.

Silence wrapped the whole room when not one of us took the chance to speak after that. It was as if a strong force was suddenly holding our mouths close even if our eyes speaks somehow how much we wanted to say anything. He would look at me at times and I would look at him whenever he would be averting his attention away from me. We would meet gazes at times but we would end it as fast as it happened. It was so tense and awkward that I started fiddling with my fingers in anxiousness.

"About what happened yesterday," I held my breath in when he finally broke the awkward silence, "I'm sorry."

"Haera came to our house unexpectedly just to bug me again like before." I heard him say.

But despite hearing his explanation, I was still quite unconvinced that it was all that because he said it without looking me in the eyes. "She just came for that?" I asked with a raised tone, trying to pressure him to say more.

He looked quite uncomfortable when I asked that. His eyebrows scrunched furiously and his lips thinned as he continued to blankly stare at nowhere. At that moment, I was quite sure he was trying to hold something back from me, and though I was itching to know what it is, I decided to remain silently waiting for him to speak.

"She just came for that." He repeated in conclusion, seemingly closing the topic off.

I know he was lying, but I respected his decision to not tell me whatever truth he was trying to hide. If he wants to conceal it away from me, then he must have had a good reason to do so. And if he doesn't want me to know about it, I guess I wouldn't do anything to figure it out not unless he tells it to me himself. Until then, my eyes and ears are closed from the urge to find out what he had not told me.

"I see." I uttered out indifferently.

"Anyway, I heard from mom that you came yesterday for me?" He raised a brow as he questioned me. "But, I never saw you except that time in front of your house. Did you perhaps—"

"My friends happened to call me that time so I went out of your house and decided not to proceed seeing you." I nonchalantly told him as I stood up and grabbed my phone from my study table.

"Who called?" He asked.

"Luhan." I quicky responded without thinking much as I replied to a message Luhan just sent.

"So, you actually went out with him yesterday?" He inquired, raising his voice a little.

I took a short peek at him before going back into typing another reply to Yixing this time. "Not exactly. We just spent the day somewhere with the rest." I nonchalantly answered, omitting the part in which we spent our time crying and laughing in the hospital because Luhan is sick. Telling Jongin those stuff would probably be the least that Luhan would want me to do, so I'm not going to tell him tha
