Clenching a tight fist
Say "No!" to L. Joe
Chapter 56: Clenching a tight fist
After the hurtful break up, L. Joe would always skip his meals or sometimes won’t eat anymore. He always stares blankly at his handphone where So Eun was still his wallpaper. Still wearing their couple earring, he clenched a tight fist trying to stop him from crying.
So Eun’s heart was also broken. There would always be a time that she will stop from working and just stared at the ground. She would just stop from staring when a customer arrives and faked a smile that hurts her twin. Seeing So Eun like this hurts them, So Eun was never this down before.
Tomorrow morning, it was yet another class. So Eun fixed her newly styled hair in front of the mirror (like sunny’s hair in the boys ^^) and sighed. She smiled but fades after remember him. She bit her bottom lip and continued to walk down the stairs.
“Eonni, are you sure you can go to school already?” Min Ri asked, really worried about her current situation.
“I’m fine. I have a promise to key oppa that I will do well at school. I can’t miss class.” She patted her twins’ shoulders and changed to her school shoes and went out.
When she walked out of their apartment and she looked up, L. Joe walked to her and pinched her nose. “Aigoo~ why are you so slow? I’ve been waiting for so long!” he chuckled and bent down her level. So Eun swallowed hard and stiffened. She closed her eyes and shook her head. When she slowly opened it, she saw nothing. It was only her imagination.
She swallowed back her tears and started walking to school.
Meanwhile, L. Joe walks to his school too. As he walks, he would always imagine that So Eun was walking with him. Side by side, he could hear sweet voice and imagine her sweet smile. “Arrogant poodle!” he abruptly spun around and saw So Eun waving at her. He widely smiled. *I knew it was a nightmare. We didn’t break up.* He opened his arms widely to catch her hug, but when So Eun ran to him, her image slowly fades. And, she's gone. He swallowed hard and stared at the empty street.
Accidentally So Eun bumped into someone. “Oh. Sorry.” She bowed without looking up and walked passed him.
“Is this how you greet me now?” he asked.
She turned back and looked that it was Chunji. “Oh! It’s you. Sorry, I didn’t see you.” She giggled a fake one.
Chunji frowned and walked to her. “Want to walk with me?” he politely offered.
She forcedly smiled. “Sure.”
“So Eun, don’t smile if you really can’t.” he blurted. So Eun looked up with still a small smile. “You’re hurting me with that.” Her smiled
