His House
Class(Your POV)
"Miss, ___-shi, miss." I woke up to a light shaking. My vision became clear again and two maids came into view.
"Oh, it's already an hour, isn't it." I yawned as I got up.
"Yeh." I nodded and thanked them. I walked into the bathroom to refresh. I went into my closet to pick a new outfit. It was hard since there were 4 wings.
After realizing that it was just L.Joe, I threw on comfy skinny jeans, a graphic hang-off-the-shoulder tee and gold heels to match. I sighed in content and walked out of the house.
"Ready!" I told my driver as soon as I got in the car. He nodded and drove off to L.Joe's house.
I took out my IPad from my purse and started tapping away. I hadn't looked up from the screen once but I wish I had.
"Uhm miss, we're here." Mr. Oh sounded a bit nervous as he turned to me.
"Oh, than-." I stopped midsentence when I looked up. I gasped so loud I thought I took in all the air in the car, "W-w-where are we?" I nervously looked around and panicked.
"This is the address you gave me, miss." He held up the note L.Joe gave me.
"No! That's impossible! This isn't where L.Joe lives!" The more I thought about it, the more I realized that I actually didn't know where he lived.
"He does have a rebellious attitude." I thought aloud as I looked at the house in front of me, "I-I'm going to go check." With shaky hands, I opened the car door and stepped out.
As soon as I did, I wanted to go back in. I broke out into a coughing fit and tears threatened to fall. The air stunk so bad of smoke and drugs. It was like there was no oxygen in this part of town.
"Ms. Baek! Are you alright?!" Mr. Oh came out and was about to give a hanky to me but I waved him away and walked to the house. I took out my own hanky and covered my nose.
*Please, oh please, oh please, oh please, don't let this be where L.Joe lives.* I squeezed my eyes shut and knocked on the door with a shaky fist.
*Tok, tok, tok.* There was no response. Then I remembered that L.Joe said he'd take a nap.
*Silly ___, he can't hear you.* I knocked a bit harder this time.
*Knock, knock, knock!* After a few minutes, you heard shuffling footsteps.
"Aish, who is it?" I looked up with wide eyes and screamed in my mind. *Thank God!*
I ran back towards my car and gave my driver an 'okay' sign. I shuffled back towards L.Joe.
"Can I please go in?" I pleaded, "I don't think I can survive in this air much longer." I coughed some more.
"Aish, were you out there long?" L.Joe opened the door wider for me to walk through. I darted in and fell on the floor coughing, "Yeah." I answered.
"Well you should've stayed a bit longer, you could've gotten used to it." He was standing in front of me now with hands in his pockets.
"Can't I get some water at least?" I struggled to stand up.
"It's in the fridge. Help yourself." He plopped down on his couch. I glared at him then I realized something.
"Oh my gosh, the air!" I looked around, "Yeah?" L.Joe raised a brow.
"I can breathe!" I looked stupid looking at air in awe.
"Well I'm human too so I try to keep at least my personal space bearable." L.Joe said in a 'duh' tone.
"Oh." My shoulders slumped a little and I pouted then sat down next to him, "I don't know where the refrigerator is. Can you go get me water?
"No." He kept a straight face.
"Yah!"
