Two MoonsAra nearly choked Siyeon at the day of the exams as she pulled her into a tight hug. “You alright? Nothing broken? No bruises?” she asked immediately and Siyeon chuckled. “Yeah, I am completely fine. They were really nice to me,” Siyeon chuckled and Ara let out a sigh. “I was dead worried about you. Really, can you imagine it? Coming back from that damned meeting only to find the dorm abandoned. I thought that something happened to you, and as Kyungsoo came to tell us that you are with them... I thought I had to throw up.”
She let out a sigh while Kato ruffled Siyeon's hair lightly. “I had to endure all this, really, it wasn't amusing at all,” he winked while Ara hissed at him. He ducked away to avoid her punch and wrapped his arm around Ara. “Anyways, Siyeon, are you ready for the exam? Do you think you can pass them?” he asked, worry and uneasiness speaking from his eyes. “I think you will be surprised,” Siyeon winked, before she turned away partly because Mr. Zhang, Mr. Kim, Mr. Choi and Mao walked onto the sports field. Surprisingly, Mr. Zhang's expression seemed to be very stern, his eyes dark, so as if he just had heard bad news.
It was silent, the tension heavy in the air, and even though the most students knew that they easily could past the test, they nervous. No one liked to be tested and the Mageíya weren't an exception to that. “Listen up everyone!” Mr. Zhang called out but he didn't have to yell because everyone was already attentive enough. “We will test your skills today. You have to show us a shield, an attack, and then you will have to show us a small fight between a person of your choice, after that we will tell you if you have passed or not.”
From the corner of her eye, Siyeon saw that Chanyeol winked at her and she smiled back. “Good luck,” he mouthed silently and Siyeon mouthed a, “Thank you, you too” back but so that the others could see it as well.
One after another, the students lined up while Mao raised his hand and small targets out of air appeared out of the nowhere. “This here is Mao. He will be our assistant. Try your best everyone!” Mr. Choi tried to sound enthusiastic but it didn't lighten up the mood at all. “When you show us your attack, you have to hit one of those targets... or all of them.”
A list appeared in Mr. Zhang's hand and he started to call out names. Each student demonstrated a shield and an attack, for them, an easy task since they had learned to do something like that since they were children. “Sehun, your turn,” Mr. Yixing called out and Sehun stepped forward. He looked at the targets, which suddenly exploded without gotten hit by any visible attack. Mao raised his hand, a flash coming out of his hand, aiming for Sehun, but the attack never hit him. It hit an invisible shield, which surface flickered for a moment, before it turned invisible again.
