Two MoonsOutside, Siyeon took a few deep breaths to calm down but it didn't work. The still working light bulbs of the lamps started to flicker up before they exploded. The noise was so loud that the students and parents who stood in the near rushed over to see if everything was alright.
“Everything's alright. It was just a broken cable,” Luhan shouted from nowhere. He carried two people but somehow managed to point with his hand in the direction of the infirmary.
“The injured and wounded should go to the infirmary as fast as they could. Please let the doctors have a look at your wounds!” he shouted with authority and the most people listened to him and turned around. “Whatever you just did, Siyeon, make sure that it doesn't happen again. The people here are agitated enough and they shouldn't worry about strange happenings.”
He winked at her but then suddenly stopped. “Have you seen my family?”
Luhan truly sounded worried so Siyeon answered his question right away. “I saw Sehun in the infirmary and I am quite sure that your father is somewhere nearby.”
A relieved expression hushed over his face and he nodded. “Thanks. I have to go and bring these two here to the infirmary as well. Then I will look for my family. Siyeon... try to get some rest. You look terrible.”
As it was silent again, Siyeon turned her head to look at a window. It shocked her as she saw how pale she was. “You should listen to him. You look really pale.”
Kinji threw a large shadow on her, blocking all the sunlight which fell on her and now she looked even paler. “I know but I can't. There is way too much going on, so much I need to know but everything seems so far away.”
Whatever Kinji thought, Siyeon couldn't figure it out. He was so different from her memories now but that was to be expected after all he had gone through.
“Go back to the other two. They are worried about you as well but they are prohibited from moving around too much that's why I came to look. I have to go back now. Jooyeon's probably searching for me.”
His last words caused angry pangs to shoot through Siyeon's body but she kept silent and nodded. “Right. The... take care, okay?”
For a moment it looked like Kinji was going to smile but he didn't. Instead, he ruffled her hair with his big hand. “Take care. We will see us again soon.”
He left as well, and Siyeon went back to the room. She didn't feel any better but her heart nearly dropped to her knees as she saw Pýr and Kinji standing up from their beds. “You two! Lay down again! Now!”
They cursed at the same time but they didn't listen. “Guys, you were close to death. I thought you were dying and I am not ready yet for you to stand up and walk around!”
Siyeon nearly sounded hysteric and Rui immediately pulled her into a tight hug. “Shh, Siyeon, calm down already. It's over now. Rui and are I alive, you have managed to talk Kinji and you have assured yourself that he is on your side. Give yourself a rest now.”
He brushed her hair softly and gave her a soft kiss on the forehead. “Rui, I am tired. All I want to do now is to sleep.”
