“He doesn't recognize you...” I say when I notice the huge fright on her face. “It's okay. Don't be afraid.” I gently rub her arms to help her relax a bit.

“I'm scared.” Her voice is a little shaky and her eyes are in the verge of tears. I shake my head and smile.

“Don't be. He's not gonna take you away from me. I won't let him do that. I won't let anybody do that.” I say but you know, I feel scared deep inside, too. I don't know what to do. I want to take Myeon Hee away from this place – away from that disgusting man. I want the two of us to just vanish and go somewhere far away from him – but I can't do that. We can't do that right now so I have to act as cool as possible.

The other four probably notice our actions so they simply come to us and pat my back. “Hyung, something wrong?” Minho asks while looking around. I nod and throw a look on the man's direction and the other four members' eyes follow.

“He's the guy.” I say.

The members take few seconds before they can actually get what I mean. “You mean... that guy?” Jonghyun whispers and I nod, fists tightly closed. “Oh ... how does he get here??”

“Isn't he the new stockholder of SM?” Key says and looks at us. “From what I heard, he's going into politics and will run as a senator for the next election. He bought stocks from the company to use it for his campaign.” He tells us in full details which makes my eyebrows meet and I frown.

“No way that he's going to use as for running. I don't want an obviously dirty man in the government.” I say and shake my head.

We are in the middle of the discussion when LSM together with the digusting man come to us. “Mr. Lee's got to be going...” He says.

“It's fun to be on your engagement party, Lee Jinki-ssi.” He says and aim for a shake hand. I take it – as if I don't know what kind of dirt he puts on those. “I'm hoping to work well with you in the future. SHINee should sing my campaign song...” He chuckles and nods. “I'll get going.”

“Thank you for coming.” I say cooly. “I'll be expecting you around, sir.” He nods and looks at Myeon Hee.

“You are very lucky to have your precious girl.” He says. I look at Myeon Hee and she's bravely looking straight ahead – trying not to get caught by hiding.

“Please take care of my future husband, sir.” She is confident as she says it – not even the hint of the nervousness. I'm proud of her.

“I'm glad I will.” He utters and nods as a sign of goodbye.

As LSM and Lee Bong Shin take few steps away, Myeon Hee sighs and looks at me. “Because you were around...” She smiles t me and so I smile back.

“Now can we have Lee Jinki-ssi on the stage to give his message for Myeon Hee-ssi.” The MC announces. “Lee Jinki-ssi??”

I look at Myeon Hee. She looks at me with question marks so I hold her hand tightly and lead her to the stage with me.

As we go up, I take out a piece of paper on my pocket. It's a letter I wrote for Myeon Hee – something that I want to say.

Myeon Hee - ah,

Remember the first time I met you? It was the most nervewracking moment of my life - the feeling was more than how I felt when I first came on stage to perform. You are very beautiful, but I can't be as comfortable as just looking at you when I know something is wrong. You are like the precious gem I should guard and take care of. Your cottony cheeks - Taemin said so - are the cutest thing I could ever get to see on Earth. I am not fond of saying sweet messages. I just do it when I'm singing - or on those few moment when I have to really say what I feel - just like now - on this letter. Don't worry about what happened in the past. It may hunt you or come after you... but if you feel like being hunted by the memory of your painful past, just hold oppa's hand, look at oppa, and you don't have to say a thing.. for I will - at all times and cost - runaway with you.

Her tears fall from her eyes as I read my message out loud in front of everybody. I see on the corner of my eyes that my mother is crying. She must be very happy that finally – I am able to find someone that can make me really happy – someone that I will love for the rest of my life.

“I love you, Lee Myeon Hee.” I say as I look deeply into her eyes. She bits her lower lip and cry. I hug her and rub her back to calm her down while I smile from ear to ear. I love her so much I can't explain to you how much.

“I don't know how on Earth did I ever deserve this...” She says with a shaking voice. “But I'll cherish you forever, and will only look at you. Thank you... thank you very much.” She replies and cups my face – leaning up nearer to whisper something.

“I want to marry you as fast as I can...” She says full of love. “And I will show you how much I love you by giving you a lot of lovely kids.”

I flinch as I hear those words from her. She stares back at me – something is hiding on the back of her innocent eyes. “Y-you'll give me what??”

“Kids.” She answers. “That will prove how much I love you...” She utters and smiles.

She should stop talking about this stuff... because I get a different interpretation from it.
