A slow love song would be playing in my head as my eyes landed on you. The whole world seems to slow down as I watches you walking beautifully with that beautiful smile on your face. 

As I let myself drown in the venom called love, I've opened up my heart and willingly to give you my all. That's how bad I'm falling for you.

And if you ask, only if you ask... I would gladly tell you about how much I feel for you. That I love you with all of my heart and soul. 

Oh sweetheart, you don't know just how much I love you. I love you more than anything. 

"Hey! What got you to daydream at this time?" 

Jimin blinked her eyes and looked at her friend, Yeji who laughed at her blank face.

"You okay, buddy?" Yeji asked again, still laughing slightly.

"Yeah, I'm good." Jimin smiles before sipping her drinks.

However, her eyes found her again. Someone who almost become hers. Someone she's been loving all her life. Someone who's not hers.

"Yo guys. What's up!"

"Hey Ryujin."

Jimin only nodded at Ryujin, who happened to be her cousin.

"Hey hey. Glad that you came." Ryujin said and flopped down beside Jimin.

"Wouldn't miss your party." Yeji grinned before she excused herself to refill her drinks.

"She misses you." Ryujin said without looking at Jimin.

Jimin tore her eyes away to look at Ryujin.

"Who?" She asked.

"My cousin of course."

"Oh."

Ryujin smiles then looked to the front again, eyes setting on her cousin.

"Can I tell you a story, Jimin?"

"Uh, sure."

We used to hangout almost everyday. We used to call each other almost everyday. You were always the first one I would find whenever I wake up from my sleep. I can't go on my days without talking to you. 

But everything has changed when I heard you're going to marry Park Chanyeol, your father's friend's son. And you did. 

I can still recall how painful it was to watch you marry someone else. I can still hear the breaking sound of my whole heart. I can still remember how my world seems to darken ever since. 

I was there, watching you, letting you be with someone else as I tried... With the last strength in me, to hold myself from breaking down right there and then. I tried to be happy for you because I wanted to, I really wanted to. But I felt that it's unfair for me. I'm hurting silently. 

I'm almost losing myself because of the unbearable pain. So I left. I left to save myself from the growing pain. I left you... 

Hoping that one day, I can come back with ease. I can come back without feeling too much pain. I can come back without the need to hold you close to me. I can come back without the need to make you mine. 

"Jimin, what I'm about to tell you could be too much for you to take in." Ryujin said slowly. 

"But still, I can't wait anymore. And I want you to listen carefully to what I'm going to tell you. Okay?" 

Jimin looks confused but just nodded her head nonetheless. Ryujin smiled sadly at her before taking a deep breathe. 

"My cousin... Minjeong... She..." 

And my heart stopped beating for a second. 

For all those years, I tried to keep going with my life, I forgot that you could be hurting too in life. I forgot just how much you used to rely on me. 

I didn't know. I didn't know that you've suffered on your own too. Sacrificing yourself for the sake of your family. 

"Chanyeol's mother last wish was to see him get married to someone kind and loving. Mr park loves his wife too much, him and Chanyeol would do anything for her. So they begged and begged, until Minjeong's father finally agreed. He agreed, knowing his daughter will end up hurting badly."

"2 years. They managed to stay together for the sake of Chanyeol's mother. Until she can't be saved anymore. Took them another year to finally get a divorce after his mother passed away. Chanyeol didn't want to, he falls for Minjeong during the years they were married to each other. But Minjeong pleaded him, to let her go. So he did, after seeing her tears for the first time in their whole time being together."

"You see, my cousin always shows her tough side in front of everyone. She can be all smiles and happy behind her sadness. But no one knows, just how much she would cry behind the closed door. And you know what breaks my heart? When I caught her one night, crying her heart out, calling for your name. That's when I knew, she didn't suffer because of the arranged marriage. But she had suffered for being separated from you, to not be able to be with you, the love of her life."

Ryujin sniffed and wiped her tears. 

"Jimin. I know you just came back after a long time. But I think, 5 years are long enough already for you both to suffer in silence. So I'm asking you a favour now. Please, end your pain. You both, its time to be happy now." Ryujin said and squeezed Jimin's hand. 

"Does she... Hate me? For leaving?" Jimin asked quietly. 

"She could never." 

A sigh escapes from my mouth. The information is too much for me to take in, yes. But one thing that registered clearly in my head was how much you've suffered too without me. 

So I tried to put the past behind me and finally finds you. I'm trying to be brave to finally face you properly. 

Even after these long years apart, seeing you in flesh now still got my head spinning. Just like that, the same love song slowly starts playing in my head. 

Because I can never deny that even after all this time... Deep in my heart, you're still my one love. 

"Minjeong." 

Minjeong stopped talking with her friends, they seemed to understand that Jimin and her both need to talk alone. Aeri and Ningning only gives a small smile before they went away to give them some space. 

"Can we talk?" Jimin asked slowly. 

Minjeong turned around and their eyes met. Minjeong's calm face, that Jimin missed the most. She can see it again now. Minjeong just nodded and Jimin gestured her to follow her to one of empty room in Ryujin's mansion.

"Hi." Jimin starts again.

Minjeong just standing there, unmoved.

"I'm sorry for not contacting you. I-" Jimin paused. She doesn't know what should she say first. To apologise about everything or to ask how she's doing or to confess her heart. But she feels too much.

Jimin can't hold it in anymore. She thought she wouldn't be this desperate for Minjeong again but girl, she's damn wrong. Her heart is still longing for her.

"Minjeong I..." Jimin ended up crying.

Minjeong finally approached her closer, frowning as she tried to hold Jimin's hand.

"Jimin?"

Oh, her delicate voice. Jimin finally broke down in front of her. She pulled Minjeong into her arms as she let her tears free. She tightened her hug on Minjeong, holding her desperately. Afraid to lose the girl for the second time again.

"I'm sorry. God, I'm so sorry Minjeong. I..." Jimin sniffed and cried harder.

"I love you so much. I'm sorry." Jimin cried.

And Minjeong froze in her arms. For her whole life, she's been waiting. She didn't think she could ever get Jimin's love. And now, Jimin has confessed. She thought she lost it all. She thought Jimin won't be back and that she won't be able to let her know about her true feelings and yet, Jimin confessed to her first.

"I love you. I really do. I can't hold my feelings in any longer. I need you to know. I just need you to know." Jimin said while still crying.

Minjeong closed her eyes, burying her face onto Jimin as she hugged her back as tight as she can. She didn't say anything, she doesn't trust her voice at this moment and Jimin knows, she's on the verge of crying already.

"You can cry on me. I'm here now, Minjeong ah. I'll be here and I won't be going anywhere. I got you, baby." Jimin whispered as she finally calm down from her cry.

And that's when Minjeong too, let herself go. She cried while being held securely by Jimin. Jimin makes sure her hug never falter as she comfort Minjeong with sweet words, apologising to her over and over again while she keeps telling her that she loves her. Anything just to make Minjeong feels better, to take away all the pain that she felt.

While outside, Ryujin smiled with tears in her eyes.

"Hope you'll get your happiness this time, cousin."
