"You should step away- no- move back like at least a metre away."

Jimin was watching her girlfriend in amusement as she listened to her complaining about her being approached by someone else other than her.

"Hey guys."

Jimin nodded as a signal to acknowledge her best friend while still watching her girlfriend explained what she should do the next time someone tries to flirt with her.

"Where's Ning?"

"Not sure." Jimin mumbled. She can't hide her small smile anymore when her girlfriend puffed her cheeks cutely. Jimin rested her chin on her palm as she continued to just sit while listening to her girlfriend never ending complaints.

"Is she still going on about someone who tries to hit on you?"

"Mhm."

"Damn. She saw it again?"

"Mm."

"But why does it seem like you are enjoying this?"

"I am." Jimin smiled, her eyes were still on her girlfriend.

"And then- wait. Why are you smiling?"

Her girlfriend finally stopped to glare at Jimin.

"Oh. Am I?" Jimin asked with her innocent face.

"Aeri. Please tell your best friend here that I am not joking."

"Yeah. Minjeong isn't joking at all, Jimin."

Jimin chuckled then stands up to reach her girlfriend who was still standing from 15 minutes ago and now crossing her arms.

"Are you really that jealous?" Jimin asked and proceed to uncross Minjeong's arms.

"Of course. You are way too attractive, people just can't leave you alone. You are mine." Minjeong frowned.

Oh. Butterflies. Jimin feels them. In her previous relationship, Jimin's ex never treat her right. She was confident that Jimin wouldn't turn away from her and that she was the best. Jimin remembered that one time when her ex's friend flirted with her and asked to cheat with her, but her ex only laughed it off while saying Jimin have the freedom to play around if she wants to and she doesn't mind. 

Then, Jimin found out the reason why her ex was so chill about it. That one time when Jimin voiced out about her being upset that her ex gave attention to someone else who flirted with her. Her ex literally told her that it's natural for someone else to be attracted to them and she was just being friendly with them.

Jimin tried to understand her perspective but when Jimin saw her ex went out with the same person who flirted with her ex before, she felt betrayed. It was their monthsary, they were supposed to have a dinner date but her ex said she couldn't make it as she got something more important to do.

"Jimin. We are not married. We can meet someone else while still being in love with each other." 

Jimin was speechless when she talked it out with her ex. Being in a relationship is like nothing to her but Jimin values a relationship. Once she decides to commit to someone she will give her all and her loyalty to just one person. 

So Jimin broke it off. She can't be with someone like her ex. 

"Okay. Come and find me once you realise that no one is better than me." 

Her ex just walked away like nothing. There, Jimin felt her heart being played completely. 

"Jimin? Yaaaa, I'm talking to you now."

Jimin snapped out of her thoughts about the past and smiled at Minjeong who looked worried now.

"Are you okay?" Minjeong asked and cupped Jimin's face.

Jimin closed her eyes and leaned towards her girlfriend's gentle touch.

"Mm. I'm okay now." Jimin whispered before pulling Minjeong into her arms, tightening her hold on her.

"As long as I have you, I'll be okay." Jimin said.

"Okay but do you even listen to everything I've just said?"

"I did. I won't let anyone come close to me. I'll make sure they know that I'm yours, yours only."

"And I am yours as well."

"I know."

Aeri smiled seeing how Minjeong succeeded in healing Jimin's broken heart. She was there when Jimin was breaking down. She was there to witness how her ex treated her badly. She was there to witness how Jimin's heart was torn into pieces. So she's glad that Minjeong came into Jimin's life and managed to help Jimin to get back to her old self, happy and carefree.

"Ohhh. Are you third wheeling them again?"

They all looked at Ning who had just arrived. Jimin and Minjeong only laughed while Aeri rolled her eyes.

"Not my fault that you always came late." Aeri said.

"Fine. Oh- that's Mark over there, I remembered he used to court Minjeong before Minjeong met Jimin and went all over her." Ning said.

They all looked at Mark who was walking towards their direction. Jimin unconsciously wrapped her arm around Minjeong again and maintain her poker face.

"Yo, girls." Mark smiled and waved at them, glancing two times at Minjeong.

"Are you alone?" Ning asked.

"Oh no. My friends are inside already." Mark said.

They were just outside the mall building, at the green garden where picnic tables were provided.

"I just came to greet you girls." Mark said again then looked at Minjeong.

"Nice to see you here." Mark talked to her.

"Yeah. Have a good day." Minjeong replied and just bowed her head.

Then Mark's eyes looked at Jimin's arm on Minjeong's waist.

"You're really serious when you asked me to stop." Mark said.

"Yes. As you can see, I have a girlfriend already." Minjeong told him.

"Well. It's uh, nice to meet you too. I hope you're treating Minjeong well." Mark said to Jimin.

"I am and I always will." Jimin answered sharp and clear.

Mark coughed twice before finally excusing himself.

"My girlfriend is the best." Minjeong giggled and hugged Jimin's neck.

"Yeah?"

"Yes!" Minjeong pecked her nose.

"Then you should know, that you are the best girlfriend ever." Jimin leaned down to kiss her lips softly.

"I love you, Yoo Jimin."

Jimin opened her eyes to look at Minjeong carefully. Those sweet words, she never heard it directed to her before but with Minjeong, she never fails to say it and to remind Jimin that she is loved, as she deserves to.

"I really love you." Minjeong said again, knowing what's going on in Jimin's head. She promised herself, she will be there to pour all of her love for her and to show her that love can be beautiful too, with the right person. And Minjeong hopes to be that person for Jimin.

"I love you." Jimin whispered and god, the wide and genuine smile from Minjeong is all it takes for Jimin to melt right there. It's how Minjeong always appreciate every little things that Jimin had said and done for her. It's how Minjeong have always been able to her feel special. It's just how Minjeong is finally making Jimin to feel being in love is not stupid at all.

And for Minjeong, Jimin is willing to give her heart and to love again. For Minjeong, Jimin is going to let herself be happy again. With her.
