Two hours after the incident...

Johnny gathered everyone as Minjeong's request. Yunjin has just arrived as well after receiving the new from Giselle of what happened to Karina. She looked at Minjeong before looking at Giselle.

"She has been very quiet." Giselle whispered to which she just nodded. Her heart clenched as she remembered about Karina. She blames herself for not being there on time as well.

They are now outside Karina's mansion. They went back to check the damage that had been done, and Giselle frowned seeing just how many men they had lost. A minute after, Mark appeared along with all of the hidden members of Black Mamba who got summoned by Karina at the very end.

They were wearing a black mask, covering their face except for their eyes. They quickly stood up straight before bowing politely to Minjeong. They received the last command from Karina perfectly and they are there because of Karina.

"You're the first batch of Black Mamba." Minjeong finally speaks.

"Yes, ma'am." All of them answered.

"Do you know about the Seven Brothers?"

"They are the betrayer."

"What about a bike with a golden plate with a TXT-44?"

"That's boss' old enemy, Yeonjun."

Minjeong nodded her head. Mark then stepped forward and bowed before he speaks.

"Jeno had sent a last minute information, a crucial one to Soobin before he died. Soobin is working directly with the organization's higher up. They had a secret relation with one of the gang from the underworld. They decided to make a deal to-" Mark cleared his throat before he continued.

"To catch and kill Karina, then catch you to throw you into the jail and give a severe punishment for turning your back against the organization." 

Minjeong hummed and put her hands into her pocket. She tilted her head as she looked at Mark.

"I want all of their names. Everyone who is involved."

"Det- I mean, ma'am, that would be almost all of the gangs and all of the higher up." Mark told her.

"Then we will kill them all." Minjeong said firmly.

"Yes, ma'am!" Mark nodded.

"Johnny." Minjeong looked at Johnny. He stepped forward and nodded at her.

"Everything's ready." He informed her.

"What's the plan, Minjeong?" Ning asked.

"I'm going to deal with Seven Brothers first. Then I will go after everyone else."

True to her words, Minjeong did not waste her time. Once everything and everyone are set and ready, she went out to hunt right away. She paid a visit to the remaining brothers of Seven Brothers, they seemed to be waiting for her arrival and Minjeong knew right away that someone gave them the information.

"Detective Kim, we've finally met. Oh, you bring friends."

Johnny was on her right, while Ning was on her left. Behind them, stands Giselle, Yunjin and Mark. While their team was guarding outside, and well, unknown to the remaining six brothers, their guards were struggling against Black Mamba men outside.

"It's only fair to fight one person against another person, don't you think? After all, Karina did fight with your leader alone." Minjeong said flatly and this angered the brothers.

"Oh, we heard she died. It is fair that she died. She killed our brother." 

Minjeong didn't say anything and only stares at the guy in front of her.

"I heard you guys got ambushed by another gang, they were even hired by your own organization's higher up." He laughed mockingly.

"Shouldn't you be worried about getting kicked out of the organization, detective Kim? You're risking your life for the dead Kar-" He widened his eyes as he clutched on his neck, looking at Minjeong in shocked.

"You talked too much." Minjeong whispered and all hell breaks loose as the other brothers realised that Minjeong just killed their other brother.

The others immediately charged against the other brothers so they wouldn't be able to hurt Minjeong while Minjeong watched the guy in front of her dropped to his knees, struggling to speak as he desperately tries to stop the bleeding.

"You deserve a slow, and painful death. This is what you get for giving information to the organization." Minjeong said. He shook his head and did not expect that Minjeong would find out.

Minjeong bends down and grabbed a fist of his hair to make him looked at her. He waited for her to say something. She lifted up her knife that got his blood after slicing his neck unexpectedly earlier and put the tip on his cheek.

"Enjoy your death." Minjeong said and stabbed him on his shoulder. She squeezed in the knife slowly and left it there before leaving as the others were done as well.

.....

"Send all of your family members abroad. We cannot afford to risk their safety."

"This is stupid, Chief!" Soobin stood up in anger.

"Choi Soobin! Show some manner. This isn't the time to be reckless." Said the deputy chief.

"She was one of us! She was even alone now. Katarina is dead! We should all go and find her and catch her! Why do we have to hold back now?!" Soobin asked in a frustration to the higher ups inside the room.

"You don't understand! Yes, Katarina is dead, but Black Mamba isn't! They might come after our family for a revenge."

"More reasons that it's a right time to catch them all!"

"Soobin, it's not as easy as you think. We just received an information from one of our informants. Kim Minjeong is taking over the Black Mamba now. It has been three days since the Black Mamba's leader's death, and she has been going on a killing spree without a break!" Another lieutenant said.

"What?" Soobin asked, confused.

"She's trying to wipe off all of the underworld gangs."

"And you let her??"

"This will bring us benefit, detective Choi. We don't have to deal with other gangs and focus on only Kim Minjeong once she's done."

Soobin frowned, he couldn't get what the higher up was thinking.

"She is becoming a criminal!"

"Yes, and she will be the last one we have to deal with. We promise, we will catch her and serve justice."

"But we can stop her! We can still help her and get her back on the right track."

"Detective Choi, we hope you will put aside your personal feelings. Kim Minjeong is no longer a detective when she decided to get involved romantically with Katarina."

.....

Minjeong looked down at the trembling man below her, he gets on his knees and clasped his hands as he looked up at Minjeong. He was sobbing and he couldn't fight anymore as he got injured badly already.

"P-Please. Spare me. I am willing to be your slave, or anything! Just please! Spare me!" He cried.

"I thought you said you're going to be the leader of the underworld." Minjeong said with no emotion.

"No. No no. I was just joking haha. I didn't- please don't kill me." He frowned.

"You shouldn't beg for a forgiveness. That's so dumb of you. Where are your confidence to fight Black Mamba upon knowing Karina is no longer here, hm?"

"I... I..."

Minjeong laughed darkly and shook her head. She scratched her forehead and chuckled lowly again.

"I guess, all of you did not expect that a random detective would take over huh."

The man gulped and was still shaking in fear. He knew who Minjeong was, she was the best in her field. Many gangs are afraid of her. What he didn't know is that Minjeong is Karina's secret lover, and that she is capable to go raving mad for losing Karina. She's becoming more like Karina- no, she was even worse. She's murderous and cold. 

Johnny looked at Minjeong who showed no pity for the man at all. For the past few days, he witnessed the dark side of Minjeong and he was still getting used to it. It's like what Karina had told him comes true, because it's really as if Karina's soul is within her.

...

Minjeong just got back to Karina's mansion and decided to rest in her office room. She hasn't slept nor getting some rest. Johnny and Giselle asked her to let them finish the job as she had already killed all of the underworld's gang leaders, so they will deal with the underlings for her. Ning also convinced her to go home and prepared to confront the organization once they are done with the underlings.

So, that's why she's back at Karina's place.

Knock Knock.

"Come in."

She glanced at Mark and waited for him to speak.

"The team have been searching persistently."

"Then, the body?"

"We couldn't find her body yet."

"Continue until you find her."

"Yes, Ma'am."

"You may go."

Once Mark left. Minjeong sighed and rubbed her face. She then smashed everything inside the office room and shouted in anger and bitterness. 

"I will find you. I promise, Karina. I will find you."
