Jimin rubbed her temple and let out a heavy sigh. She just finished reviewing a report, and now she was listening to the options that Aeri has suggested on how to solve the issues that occurred. 

"Is there no other way?" Jimin asked Aeri.

"It's better if you settle it personally. This isn't a small issue, and it needs your immediate attention."

Jimin nodded, understanding what Aeri meant. She then looked at her calender on the desk and scanned the dates before looking at Aeri.

"Tomorrow would be the best time to leave." Aeri told her as she also has already checked Jimin's schedule.

"Okay. We will leave tomorrow. We'll stay for 3 days."

"A week."

"Pardon?"

"We need to be there for at least a week. Yes, we might solve it within 3 days. However, we need to stay and make sure it won't happen again."

Jimin blinked her eyes at Aeri's serious face.

"I need to find the source of this problem too before we leave. This is the second time it happened, and we don't want it to repeat all over again, boss."

Jimin took a deep breath. Aeri was in her professional mode right now, and she was serious when it comes to the company's problem. Aeri, after all, protects the company the same like she would protect her. Jimin was thankful that she has Aeri in her life.

"Okay. A week then." Jimin agreed, and Aeri nodded while taking notes using the iPad that Jimin has prepared for her from the first day she works with her.

"Is it possible for Mrs Yoo to join us, Aeri?" Jimin asked her assistant.

"No. We need Mrs Yoo here. There will be 2 meetings of marketing department about the new progress and their next plan. Her presence is needed here." Aeri answered Jimin strictly.

Jimin bit her bottom lip. Then, it would be her first time to be away from Minjeong ever since they live together.

"Just a week, sharp, then I'll make sure you go back home to your lovely wife." Aeri said, and Jimin looked up at Aeri's smirking face. Now, this is her best friend speaking instead of her assistant.

"I understand, Ms Uchinaga." Jimin replied with a little bit of sarcasm while Aeri just chuckled.

"Go and continue your job, my hard working assistant." Jimin said and stood up.

"Where are you going?"

"To my wife. I need to inform her about it." 

Aeri watches as Jimin left her office without waiting for Aeri.

"She could've waited until they were at home to tell her about it. Tsk. Excuses, she just want to see her wife." Aeri mumbled to herself.

Jimin walked straight to Minjeong's office, ignoring the employees who were standing up to greet her as always. She raised her hand to knock the door, but stopped when she thought that maybe she could just walk in without knocking like she did a few times. She was about to turn the doorknob, but stopped again. She thought, maybe Minjeong find her rude when she did that. 

Ning was watching Jimin who was contemplating in front of Minjeong's office. She raised her eyebrows, watching while holding her laugh. Now, since when has her boss become like this.

Jimin then turned to her which make her sit up straight immediately. Jimin walked towards her and stopped in front of her desk, Ning just looked up at her with curiosity.

"My wife is inside, right?" 

"Yes, boss."

Jimin opened , but closed it again. She cleared and put her hands inside her pocket.

"Does she- uh, does she prefer me to just walk in without knocking or should I always knock before I come in?" Jimin asked.

"Well, she has never talked about that before."

"Oh."

"But, I think she does not mind either way." Ning said again, and smiled politely at Jimin.

"Are you sure?" Jimin asked.

"Yes, boss."

"Hm. Okay, I-"

"Ning ah, do you hap-"

Both Jimin and Minjeong turned to look at each other and stopped, while Ning only watched them with amusement.

"Hm. Mrs Yoo, I need to talk to you." Jimin quickly said, keeping her professionalism in front of her employees.

"Oh. Sure, you may come in." Minjeong replied and gestured Jimin to come inside her office.

"Thank you." Jimin then walked inside while Minjeong glanced at Ning who wiggled her eyebrows at her. Minjeong only shook her head before she went inside her office again.

She saw Jimin was still standing beside the sofa with hands still inside her pocket. Minjeong then walked and stopped beside her.

"Come, and sit with me." Jimin told her while gesturing her to sit down first.

Minjeong smiled and sits, Jimin took a seat beside her.

"What do you want to talk about?" Minjeong asked.

"There's a problem going on at our oversea branch." Jimin told her.

"I need to go and fix it." Jimin added.

"I see." Minjeong nodded.

"Aeri and I will need to leave by tomorrow, so I won't be here for around a week. Would you be fine with that?"

Minjeong looked at Jimin in surprised. Well, this is Jimin. Jimin always make sure to include her in anything, just anything. To make sure that she would know about what's going on, and will ask if she is okay with it.

"Yes, don't worry about it."

"Okay. I will ask Johnny to drive you to work and send you back home while I'm not around." Jimin said.

"Um, while you're there, is it okay if I sometimes go back to my parents to eat dinner?"

"Sure. You know that we can also do that when I'm here."

"Oh, I just- I thought you would be tired after work and wanted to go home and rest early."

Jimin sighed silently, Minjeong was still hesitating around her, and still keeping things to herself sometimes.

"I don't mind, Minjeong ah. We can go and have dinner with your parents whenever you like." Jimin told her.

"I'll- I'll keep that in mind. Thank you." Minjeong bowed her head.

"Is that all?" Minjeong asked her.

"I'm sorry for only asking this now, but..." Jimin paused to look at her and Minjeong tilted her head. Jimin cooed internally at the cute sight.

"Do you prefer me to knock before I come in or...?"

"Huh?"

"I mean, when I want to see you, is it okay if I just come in without knocking?"

"Oh- That... I actually does not really mind. I mean, it's okay not to knock too. Besides, you told me to come and see you whenever I want to, you even asked me to never knock anymore and just come in when I knocked first previously."

"Alright. I got it. Thank you." Jimin said, standing up. She reached out her hand for Minjeong to take, pulling her closer before pecking her forehead.

"I'll see you later. Bye." Jimin said while Minjeong only hummed at her this time, watching Jimin leaves her office.

The next day, Jimin still drove Minjeong to work and even sent her to the office. She ignored Minjeong when she said she could leave already with Aeri, since Aeri greeted her earlier in the lobby, and seemed ready to leave.

"Johnny will send you home later. Just let him know when you want to drop by your parents' home first for a dinner, he will drive you there. I have already informed him."

"Okay."

Jimin then fixed Minjeong's fringe and patted her cheek.

"Don't hesitate to call me if you need anything. I'll make sure to answer your call right away." Jimin said.

Minjeong nodded and looked down, smiling slightly. She only called Jimin a few times, and Jimin has never let it ring longer, as she would answer her call before even the second ring.

"Do you want anything?" Jimin asked her softly.

"Hm?" Minjeong looked back up at her.

"I can buy you something there, just tell me what do you want."

"Ah. I- there's no need."

"What about snacks?" Jimin asked. Living with Minjeong makes Jimin realised just how much Minjeong loves snacks.

"Snacks?"

"Yeah. I can bring home some good snacks, the best ones." Jimin held herself from smiling when Minjeong's eyes brightened, yet, she could still see a hesitation in her eyes.

"Well, I-If you don't mind-"

"I don't. I'll bring you snacks then. Lots of them." Jimin quickly said.

"Ah, thanks." Minjeong nodded her head.

Jimin put her right palm on Minjeong's left cheek and smiled a little at her.

"Okay. I'll call you."

"Mmm."

Jimin was about to turn around and leave when she stopped, facing Minjeong again. Minjeong looked at her without saying anything. Jimin sighed and cupped her face, giving her a kiss on her forehead. 

"I-" I'll miss you.

"Take care okay." Jimin said softly, then turned again to leave. Once outside, Jimin put back her straight face, emotionless. Her heart aches, having to leave Minjeong while she have not been able to settle their own issue yet. She just hope that one day, Minjeong will be willing to open up her heart for her and let her in. 

Once she reached the lobby, Jimin gestured Johnny to follow her outside where Aeri and other staffs have been waiting for her too. She waited until Johnny came closer and stared right into his eyes.

"You make sure my wife will come home safe and sound, every time." She warned.

"Yes, ma'am." Johnny answered and nodded firmly.

"And no reporters are allowed." She said out loud, making sure all of her employees heard her. They all nodded their head.

Then she glanced at Ning who was standing a little far from Johnny. Aeri did tell her that she asked Ning to keep an eye on Minjeong, as Ning was the most trusted employee after Aeri. Jimin nodded at her, Ning smiled in return.

"Let's go." Jimin said, getting in the car first before Aeri followed her.

"So, have you talk it out with her?" Aeri asked once the car moved.

Jimin kept looking out the window, feeling heavy inside while her mind was thinking of a lot of things, especially about Minjeong.

"I haven't." Jimin said in a low voice. Aeri frowned and looked at the back of Jimin's head.

"I don't know how to start." Jimin said again.

"You can just start somewhere, anywhere. Have her sit with you, and you know, just start talking. You can't wait for the right time for this. There will be no right time at all. It's been too long, Jimin."

"Hmm." Jimin looked down at her hand, she caressed the ring on her finger.

"I hope you'll make up your mind soon. We'll settle this company issue faster, then you go back to your wife and fix everything." Aeri said.

"And I don't want you to be a coward and keep dragging this any longer, Yoo Jimin." Aeri told her firmly.

Jimin glanced at her shortly before looking outside again. I wish it was that easy.
