Jimin walked fast to get Minjeong, and shielded her from Jeno. She glared coldly at the shocked Jeno, who did not expect to cross path with her as he was clearly making sure to approach Minjeong when Jimin was not around.

"What are you doing here, Jeno?" Jimin asked, trying to keep herself together, to not burst in anger right at that moment.

"Jimin?"

Jimin heard Yeji's voice and soon footsteps could be heard coming closer towards them. Jimin looked down and frowned seeing the slight bruise on Minjeong's wrist.

"Jimin!!"

Jimin grabbed Jeno's collar harshly and pushed him onto the wall forcefully, ignoring Jeno's struggle to break away from her. She ignored Yeji's and Hyunjin's panic voice calling her name too.

"You hurt her!" Jimin growled.

"How could you?!" Jimin shouted, tightening her hold onto his collar and pressed her knuckle on his neck.

"J-Jimin ah." Minjeong grabbed her waist, but she still did not back down from Jeno.

"Jimin. Hey, calm down. What's happening here?" Yeji asked while Hyunjin got closer and extended his arm in between Jimin and Jeno to prevent anything worse to happen.

"Jimin." Hyunjin called for her again.

Jeno coughed and keeps hitting Jimin's arm to let him go as his face was already red from lack of air. Hyunjin looked worried and tried to pull Jimin's hand.

"Jimin, please." Minjeong pleaded and pulled her waist.

Jimin did one harsh push on Jeno's shoulder before she finally let him go and took a step back. Her eyes were still glaring at Jeno coldly when he slid down onto the floor to take a breath while coughing vigorously.

"You've done enough damage already, Lee Jeno. I would still forgive you and forget the past, but that chance is gone now for you because of what you did tonight." Jimin said callously.

"We will talk tomorrow, Hwang." Jimin told the twin before she turned around and looked at Minjeong. She sighed and put her right palm on her cheek.

"Let's go home, baby." She said softly.

"I'll take care of him. I apologised for what happened to your wife." Yeji said and bowed her head.

Jimin hummed and grabbed Minjeong's hand, pulling her along to leave the place. Jimin took her phone out of her pocket and dialled a familiar number.

"Hello. Yoo Jimin speaking."

Minjeong looked up at Jimin's serious face. She has never seen her this way before. Jimin have always been warm, kind and loving in front of her despite of her cold appearance, but now, it is different. This Jimin looks deadly.

Minjeong has just finished her shower when Jimin finally entered their bedroom. Minjeong saw her still on call. Even though Jimin have not said anything to her yet, she knows that Jimin is doing something about Jeno, and it is not good. Minjeong preferred to stay away from knowing what is happening.

"Come here." Jimin called her softly, and she obeyed her.

Jimin gestured her to sit on the bed beside her, so she did.

"Give me your hand." 

Minjeong put her in Jimin's palm. Jimin then checked her wrist and caressed her skin gently. Minjeong only watches as Jimin applied an ointment on her wrist, blowing on it softly few times.

"Are you angry?" Minjeong asked her.

"Not at you. You know that, right?"

"I... I make you worried." Minjeong looked down, feeling bad for what had happened.

"Hey." Jimin grabbed her chin tenderly and kissed her cheek.

"Do not feel bad, okay?" And Minjeong nodded at her.

Jimin then lifted her up to make her sits on her lap. Minjeong was straddling her now with her arms wrapped naturally around Jimin's neck. Jimin smiled at her before burying her face into Minjeong's neck.

"I will do anything to protect you, baby. I won't let him hurt you again." Jimin said and gives her some light kisses on her neck.

"T-Thank you." Minjeong stuttered, and Jimin hummed delightfully when Minjeong's hand caressed Jimin's nape while Jimin was busy giving her more kisses.

"I love you so much." Jimin mumbled and hugged Minjeong's waist tightly.

"I love you more." Minjeong replied.

"That's impossible." Jimin smirked and kissed Minjeong's lips passionately.

"Because I love you even more." Jimin whispered, she smiled when she can feel Minjeong was smiling as well.

"Look who's glowing." Ning whistled and Minjeong rolled her eyes, but asked her to come into her office.

"Did boss give you some loving last night, Mrs Yoo?" Ning asked teasingly, wiggling her eyebrows playfully.

"Shut up." Minjeong laughed.

"Come on, I need to discuss about a report."

"Ugh. This early? Really?" Ning groaned in frustration.

"Yes, this early, Ms Yizhuo."

"You're starting to sound like our boss for real." Ning squinted her eyes.

Minjeong throws her a pen which Ning avoided successfully before she laughed at Minjeong's annoyed face.

"Hey! Chill. Don't get violent with me." Ning said.

"Time to work now, focus."

"Aye aye, Mrs Yoo."

Minjeong shook her head and waited for Ning to settle in front of her before they start their discussion. She then remembered how it went last night. Yes, Jimin was pouring all of her love and emotion on her last night. Minjeong's heart soared gleefully as she remembered every touches, kisses and loving words that come from Jimin. 

"Now, who's the one who should focus?"

Minjeong cleared and rolled her eyes when Ning smirked at her.

"I can see right through you, Mrs Yoo." Ning teased again, pointing a pen at Minjeong in a playful manner.

"Especially that lovely and beautiful mark on your-" Ning did not get to finish her sentence when Minjeong hissed at her, pulling her collar more to cover her neck and frowning when she looked down, realising that one of her buttons were undone.

"Sigh, Jimin." Minjeong grumbled, knowing that it was Jimin's doing when she kissed her in the car.

"Seems like the boss is trying to show off that you're rightfully only hers." Ning commented and chuckled when Minjeong glared at her. 

It is fun to tease Minjeong because of her reaction, so Ning does it often, especially when they were both alone. Minjeong actually loves it, she feels warmth through Ning's constant teasing. She's honestly grateful that Ning have been a really good friend to her. It has been so long since she last felt this genuine friendship after what happened to her in the past.

"Now, back to work."

"Got it, Mrs Yoo."

"Everything is done as requested."

"The Hwang?"

"They have done their part as well."

"Good."

"And your parents found out about it too. So, well, you know what your father would do."

"Hm, great."

"Your wife's parents are cutting off some business related to his family too. Jeno's company is going down, his family's company asset and stock drops drastically."

"What about his clubs?"

"Closing down by tomorrow. Ms Kang Seulgi is contacting all of her people now and she said she will give her word."

"Alright. I want everything to be announced officially. I want his downfall to headline the news, and let the whole world know."

"Got it, boss."

"No one messes up with me. No one hurts my wife, Aeri."

"We will bring him down with no mercy, Jimin. I got your back." Aeri said firmly, then winked at Jimin before excusing herself.

Aeri then called someone as soon as she left Jimin's office.

"Hi there! Jeon Somi, been a long time, isn't it? Hahaha. Oh, well, I actually have a favour to ask." Aeri smiled and humming calmly.

She may look cheerful and harmless, but Aeri Uchinaga is not Jimin's assistant slash best friend for no reason. She's hiding her power behind her unserious image. Jimin wanted to destroy Jeno's whole business line, that can be done easily with a snap of Jimin's finger. That's how authoritative Jimin is.

However, Aeri, possessed something like the wild and crazy kind of authority behind the closed door. She was a social butterfly anyways, and she created many connections. She could destroy anyone she would like just by making a simple phone call.

"The guy's name is Lee Jeno. You know what to do." 

"Oohh. I'm excited. I finally got something to do!"

"No mercy and no mistake, Somi."

"Mm. You can count on me. Within 24 hours, everyone will turn their back on him including all of his close friends."

Aeri sighed after hanging up. She has seen how devastated Jimin was after graduation. It was only for a short while, but Aeri knew it must be something big. She only found out that her best friend was going through her biggest heartbreak after failing to confess and talk properly to Minjeong after knowing the whole story from Jimin. She witnessed how Jimin sometimes looked empty the past few years, she promised herself to never let her best friend go through the pain again.

When she saw how foolishly in love Jimin is with Minjeong, she knows then. Jimin's happiness is being with Minjeong. It will hurt her if ever Minjeong gets hurt. So, Aeri promised herself that she will protect the pair. 

"Now, you will feel what they felt, Jeno. You will experience what Minjeong have been feeling for years. No one to turn to, no one to share a real feeling, just literally no one. Alone in the darkness, you should pay back fairly for what you had done."

Minjeong saw it. It was all over the news. She did not know that Jeno will be facing such severity of what he did. She asked Jimin about it, but Jimin only said that it was what he deserves, and some was not even from her doing. Jimin's power was that big. Upon knowing Jimin had an issue with Jeno, every business person steps back from their partnership with Jeno and his family to avoid getting on Jimin's bad side.

"What are you thinking of, baby?" Jimin asked, hugging her from behind and kissing her bare shoulder since Minjeong was wearing a sleeveless dress for a dinner with Aeri and Ning.

"The news."

Jimin glanced at the TV before standing up straight, still hugging Minjeong. 

"What about it?" Jimin asked, kissing her head.

"I pity him."

"..."

Minjeong was too kind for her own good. Jimin saluted her for being so forgiving even after everything, but Jimin is no saint. She can't forgive him for all the pain he had caused to both Minjeong and her.

"Stop thinking about him, baby. You should be thinking about me." Jimin said, turning Minjeong around to kiss her lips.

One thing Jimin cannot live without now is Minjeong's lips. She will die if she is not able to kiss Minjeong each day.

"I want you to think of me, and me only." Jimin whispered.

"I am." Minjeong replied.

"And I will make you love me forever, baby. I marry you for that reason." Jimin told her.

"Can't believe that you're my wife."

"Why?"

"It's far from what I've expected for my life."

"Well, believe it, baby. You got yourself a Yoo Jimin as your wife."

Minjeong chuckled and nodded, leaning in to kiss Jimin. Jimin smiled when Minjeong initiated the kiss this time.

"You are my wife, Jimin.

"I am."

"My wife."

"Yours, baby."

Jimin kissed her like it's the last time they are going to see each other. She glanced at the wall clock and hummed seeing that they still got the time. So, she carried Minjeong back to their bedroom and proceed to give Minjeong as much love as she deserves. One thing that Jimin keeps telling herself is that Minjeong will be receiving lots of love from now on, only love. 

Jimin will do her best to wash away all of Minjeong's sadness and make her forget the painful past.

"Jimin..."

"I love you, love of my life."

"I love you too."

Minjeong smiled, closing her eyes as she let herself drown in Jimin's love again and again.
