Over dinner, Sandara discussed her suggestion with Kwon Jiyong. She told him that if someone really meant to harm her, that person would definitely do it again. She wanted to lay a trap and make the culprit bite the bait.

Kwon Jiyong had to approve of her wisdom. Not all cases could be solved in violence, he knew that. But he was angered when she fell sick, to the point that he almost turned the entire estate upside down. He realized he mistook her as Ara again, and now that this woman was discussing a plan with him, he realized of course, that this woman was totally different.

For his Ara would just let the issue go because her heart pitied the lowly people, while this woman sought justice and reason in every move.

But after much thought, he realized Park Sandara's suggestion seemed plausible, so he let her take charge.

By daybreak, all the servants had been released and the next few days, the estate went back to normal. Jo Sanggung, Seol and Byeol were tasked to serve her and used a different kitchen from the rest. The guards were all replaced and Moo Yeon remained in the estate to keep check everything while Kwon Jiyong never showed up again after that dinner. Meanwhile, Kang Daesung was still nowhere to be found.

At the Hidden Seclusion, Kwon Jiyong was reading reports when a man arrived with a tray of tea and some pastries.

"Daegam, please eat something,"

Kwon Jiyong didn't pay the man any attention and kept reading.

"Daegam... Are you still mad at me?"

"Daegam, this servant was only following your orders to report everything."

"Daegam, please don't be angry anymore."

"Daegam..." Kang Daesung wanted to cry. "Why is it that everyone else had been released while I'm still being punished?"

"You dare question my judgment! I entrusted the entire estate to you while I was away and you let such thing happen!" Kwon Jiyong slammed his palm against the table. It's been days but he still tormented Kang Daesung, even deciding to take the man with him to the Hidden Seclusion and make the man feed the imoogans he kept imprisoned, scaring the poor man to death.

Being born from the family which was chosen by an imoogi himself to serve him, of course Kang Daesung had no choice but to follow his ancestors' sworn loyalty. Besides, their family had been also blessed with so much wealth by His Excellency. So as the eldest son of the family, he dedicated his all in this task. He even sent his younger brother to the palace to keep check about the current status inside but the damned man seemed too weak and soft hearted to be a spy. He rarely receives messages from him and even if he does, they were all late and useless.

Kang Daesung sighed helplessly. Seemed like he was really alone in this lifetime responsibility. Would he even have a chance to start a family of his own at the rate things are going? He mentally cursed Park Sandara in his head. If she didn't marry into His Excellency's household, then he would have less responsibilities to think of! Since the woman arrived, the entire household was shaken to the point that even their Lord seemed to care too much for the woman!

But, His Excellency had never even paid attention to any woman before so how come?

He looked at his Lord and studied his face. By chance... Has this cold and distant ice dragon really taken a fancy on Park Sandara? Gasp! He couldn't have, could he?

"Get out," Kwon Jiyong felt the man watching him but Kang Daesung only decided to check if his instincts were true.

"Daegam, make sure to eat those pastries," Kang Daesung said.

"Take them away. You know I don't eat sweets."

"But a guard from the estate arrived earlier and said Jo Sanggung sent these for you. They said Manim prepared these, Daegam," Kang Daesung said, his small eyes prying on Kwon Jiyong's expression but he got no response.

Oh right, he snickered at His Lord. He was wrong afterall. This man was too heartless to pay attention to a woman's heart. He had to approve though, at Park Sandara's seduction skills. That woman was becoming bolder and bolder as days went by.

He was ready to take the platter of pastry away when Kwon Jiyong startled him. "Leave it,"

Kang Daesung seemed having a hard time trying to hear him. Did he just say—

"I said leave it there and get out." Kwon Jiyong glared at him. Kang Daesung finally understood and bowed before hurriedly rushing out of the room.

"Wow... Park Sandara you're really unbelievable." Kang Daesung shook his head in disbelief, now aware that like Jo Sanggung, he must get to their lady's good side.

If he does, his life will be preserved longer.

As days passed, Sandara had been getting inside the thoughts of every kitchen servants but she still couldn't find anyone who was harboring hate towards her. Could it really be just a mistake? Did someone really intend to hurt her?

She was taking a walk with Seol and Byeol when she suddenly bumped into a cleaning maid named Wol who just got out of the main hall with a bucket of water. The impact sent the water splattering on her dress and shoes.

"Manim!" Seol immediately pushed Wol aside making her fall, before patting Sandara's skirt. Seol had always been the outspoken and fiercer one between her and Byeol, so she naturally glared at the woman. "Yah! Still not asking for forgiveness???"

"Forgive this servant, Manim! This one should be punished!" The young lady cried out as she dropped to her knees and bowed ever so lowly but Dara just crouched down and gently smiled at her. "It's okay. Go back to your work—"

Sandara's eyes shut down at the sudden vision and sound in her ears as she held the lady by her arms.

"You ! Serves you better! Wait until I drive you out of this house! If it's impossible for someone like me to have His Excellency's heart, then his heart shouldn't belong to anyone at all!"

Sandara had to keep her composure as she let the young lady go. She was in so much shock that she almost stumbled and fell if not for Seol and Byeol quickly supporting her.

"Manim!" Seol helped her up before shouting at Wol. "Impudence!"

"It's okay, Seol-ah." Sandara forced a smile before turning to the young lady once more. "Have my chambers cleaned when you're done in here," She said, making sure her voice didn't shake as she spoke.

Seol glared back at the woman before running after Byeol and her lady. She couldn't explain but there was something about the girl that made her dislike her.

Meanwhile, Sandara was in a dilemma. How could such a young woman have thoughts as violent as that? Does she lik
