"Kwon Jiyong, I said that wasn't fair!"

At those words everything and everyone at the main courtyard stilled. Those who were eavesdropping and those who were present all covered their mouths in shock and astonishment.

Park Sandara, what gall you have for calling His Excellency by his name!

As if it wasn't enough to give the entire household a heart attack, Park Sandara even pulled Kwon Jiyong to spin him around so he was facing her.

"I said, what you did back there was not fair!" Park Sandara was huffing in anger. "How could you kick your servant out just like that? He had a good reason for stalling and slowing down! If something happened to me on our way here, would you shoulder the consequences???"

Those words! Park Sandara really was fearless! They made sure to remember this scene in their hearts for this will go down history. Although they admired her confidence, the servants all but lost hope for their lady. With their master's sharp glare that exuded a killing intent enough to make anyone bend before him, it won't take long before he divorces this woman this instant.

Kwon Jiyong was a man who hated noise and commotion. However the source of the noise and commotion was his wife. Would he punish her just the same? Because usually, no matter if the culprit was a man or a woman, he would. Everyone waited for his next reaction.

But everyone gasped once more when their master just turned around again to leave.

That's it? He left without a word and that's it?

While Kang Daesung rushed to follow Kwon Jiyong, Jo Sanggung immediately went towards Sandara.

"Ma-nim! Aigoo! You shouldn't have done that! You shouldn't have!" Jo Sanggung lectured but Park Sandara ignored her.

"Someone, tell the porter to come in!" Sandara's voice was full of authority but when everyone seemed to hesitate, she eyed them all before saying, "Does your lady need to say it twice for you to obey???"

With this, all the male servants present rushed outside to get the poor porter. Who knew their lady could be this scary too? In no time, the old porter was already bowing before her.

"Ahjussi... You're not leaving. If His Excellency threatens you again, you have to tell this lady, alright?"

"B-ut Ma-nim..."

"Enough! End of discussion!" Park Sandara didn't even listen while the servant cried and praised her for her generosity and good heart.

She knew she wasn't a saint. She would definitely kick the man out herself if she found out he did something awful. But she would never ever fire someone just because she was angry. She was not as unreasonable as Kwon Jiyong.

While the servants in the hiding have all come out to see her retreating form, they all found themselves looking at her with adoration.

As long as Ma-nim is here, we'll be safe!

Thus, they decided to stick by her side in the future.

Meanwhile, the unreasonable man was reading reports in his study. While Kang Daesung was busy preparing his tea on the side, he couldn't help but throw his master a curious look.

Did he really just let go of the fight like that? Did the sun rise from the west and set in the east today? He couldn't help but wonder if his master was feeling sick. Is he not feeling well that's why he just let their lady go? If so, that woman must be really lucky! He looked away immediately in panic when his master spoke.

"How was the preparation for the Hidden Seclusion doing?"

Kang Daesung faced his master as he served his tea, still gauging his face. "It's already been prepared as you have ordered, Daegam. The guards were all over the place and the quarters were all ready."

Kwon Jiyong's face was grim as he folded the reports and set them aside. "Tomorrow until next week, I will be away. I want you to keep me posted. Also, do not let Park Sandara go out. Tighten the security."

"This one shall obey!"

"Secure the entire estate with more shadow guards."

"Yes, Daegam!" Kang Daesung said before asking. "Should I bring dinner?"

Kwon Jiyong shook his head. He rarely feels hungry after all. Before Kang Daesung had left the room, he spoke one last time.

"Tell Jo Sanggung to feed that woman,"

Kwon Jiyong drank his tea and went on reading the same report he was reading earlier as if the contents just won't sink into his head. For over nine centuries of finding the few remaining imoogis as what the elders in the Dragon Realm had ordered, he had never been this distracted.

How could his long long immortal years of dedication to save his remaining kins be affected just because of a woman? He scoffed before returning to his icy stance. He will only remember one woman in his never-ending lifetime. And that's Ara.

He had a fair share of painful experiences that sometimes he wished he would just die. While some humans were afraid to die, he envied them.

If he dies, will he able to see Ara? The White Dragon handed him his beloved's letter when they met and that letter was still safe in his possession. Ara... His woman, was full of hope for them, she waited in for him, yet he came back only to see her lifeless form. That scene was etched forever in his heart. He felt despicable, he felt unworthy. He cursed himself and deprived himself of love and care until his heart turned ice.

His wrath ended the imoogis governance in Silla. All of the remaining kins have fled in different directions. Some were cursed, some were killed. Some have taken revenge, some have been searching for him too. The first few hundred years were bloody. Never ending wars and countless assassinations from all over the continent became normal to him. While he doubted if he still could be a great dragon, the elders told him it still was possible. After all, he was the Chosen One. If he repents and corrects his mistake, maybe the heavens would give him another chance.

Over the years, he had been going back and forth this country and the Dragon Realm. He purified tho
