I was so shocked when I found out how many comments I got in AFF.

Anyway, since I promised I would update if I receive comments, I'll give you the chapter. =]

You're about to barely be my boyfriend....

"That's very good, ShiRin-chan. You can take a rest for a bit. Let's say... 15 minutes?" My Japanese choreographer told me as I finished running 'Boyfriend', the same song I danced during my first meeting with SHINee. He watched me perform the piece and sharpened my moves, polished my gestures. And through it all, my dancing improved, I myself can say so.

"Iiye, senpai. Just 5 minutes. I want to be able to run my debut track next." I told him, and upon hearing that, he smiled and nodded.

"Wakarimasu. I'll just by myself a bottle of water, and I'll meet you again here in 10." He said before taking his wallet and going out of the rehearsal room.

I sighed as the door of the rehearsal room closed. Ever since I arrived in Japan yesterday, I had no room for that much rest. If I was working hard in Korea, then I've been training twice as hard here.

I heard from HeeSung-ah that after years of analysis between the Japanese and Korean music industries, it's harder to penetrate the Korean market because my fellowmen tend to have a certain bias on music, which is pop music. The Japanese market is slightly easier to enter, but with many korean groups vying for attention, it would be harder to stay on top in Japan than in Korea, since fans are pretty much distinguishable from one another there. In Korea, I mean. With that in mind, I huffed a deep breath, taking my phone and looking if anyone left me a text message.

There were 3 messages I received during the time I was practicing.

I smiled as I saw the first one. It was LeeMeyong Abeonim.

Abeonim:
How's Japan? Having fun? (: Say hello to JinShi-yah for me when you visit her. Take care there, okay? -wink-

The folowing messages made my brows furrow in confusion.

How the HELL did these guys get money to afford doing overseas texting?

JongHyun-sshi:
Heyah. How R U? I'm sure Ur exhausted. Take tym 2 sit back 1s a while. :D

Key-ah:
ShiRin-ah! <3 >_< v I wanted 2 go thr with U, but i guess i cnt. don't get sick there, kay? <3

I laughed as I finally finished reading their messages. I can't BELIEVE that these guys would seriously get in touch with me while I'm here in Japan.

Especially JongHyun-sshi. I never knew he'd take this really seriously.

The sound of the door cut me from my thoughts, and I smiled as I saw my choreographer back inside the room, a bottle of water in hand.

"Okay, I'm back. You wanna run your debut song now?" He asked me and I smirked before nodding.

"Sure."

"ShiRin-chan, don't be afraid to make your moves a little more fluid. It's like you're scared to move gentler. Don't be." Senpai told me as I finished running the song. I nodded before going to the sound system, determined to run the song again. I HAD to master my moves.

But even before I had the chance to, a hand blocked my wrist.

It was Senpai's.

"Eh? Senpai? Naze?" I asked him the reason why his hand stopped me from playing the song again.

"ShiRin-chan, you've been rehearsing all the dance songs in your album for 4 hours straight now. And haven't you arrived here from Korea just 6 hours before we started rehearsing? Rest for some time." He told me, concern evident in his eyes.

"But senpai, I want to refine my movements. It's like I feel wrong if I don't do it!" I complained in a whiny tone, huffing a sigh when I heard him chuckle a bit.

"You surprise me, ShiRin-chan. You've already been pounded by rehearsals in Korea, but here you're doing twice as much. You've already been trained in one of the best institutions in terms of performing arts during your childhood, but here you are, saying that you still want to do more. Are you not a robot, ShiRin-chan?" He asked me, and in a few moments, we burst into laughter.

In that moment, I thought I saw Key-ah in Choreographer Senpai.

"Wakarimasu. Hai-hai. I'll stop for a bit." I said after suppressing my chuckles and sat on the floor of the rehearsal room.

"So, how's your heart during your stay in Korea? Did it beat 'doki-doki' for someone there?" Senpai suddenly asked me as he sat on the floor beside me. My eyes widened at his question, for the memory of the embrace that I had twice with JongHyun-sshi ran into my head again.

No. HELL NO.

"Nah. Nobody. With all these things to put my time in, why should I look for someone who makes my heart go 'doki-doki'?" I asked him back, making us laugh a bit. But suddenly, Senpai turned serious.

"I suspect that there's something going on between you and a SHINee member." He said, and my eyes widened.

"EH?! Iiye. Senpai. Hontou ni, Senpai. Iiye." I denied. How the hell would he get such an absurd idea?!

"Well, HeeSung-chan just joked it to me once. I think it's Kim JongHyun-san, am I right? Are you really close with him?" He said, and I sighed in relief when I heard that my manager just said it as a joke. I thought it was something else.

But the last part made me furrow my eyebrows. I just shook my head, denying everything.

"Selene-chan, there might not be something YET, but beware of him, okay? You might not know if the spotlight begins to shine negatively on you because of him." He told me, and I nodded, totally agreeing.

"I will. But I'd like to clarify that JongHyun-san is just my friend. I don't treat him anything more than as a colleague. I don't even treat him like a very very close friend." I said to Senpai, smiling.

But suddenly, a thought of Key-ah ran in my head.

"Another member perhaps..." I whispered, thinking that Senpai wouldn't hear it. But suddenly, he exclaimed.

"Another member?! Dare?! Tell me. Dare? WHO?!" He asked me. My eyes widened as Senpai would only speak like this when he's excited or very very angry. From the looks of it, he's excited, and he wants to know who the member I'm really close friends with is. Hence, the question 'Dare' meaning 'who'.

"Uhm... it's..." I was about to answer his question when suddenly, my phone rang. I quickly went to where my phone was and looked at it.

One message received: Key-ah. =]

Smirking, I went back to where Senpai was and showed him the phone. I pointed at the name flashing on my screen and replied.

"Him."

"Haha. Okay, so you're serious about keeping in touch with me. But I'm surprised you'd do so much as call me even if it's late, JongHyun-sshi." I said, my cellphone at my ear, chuckling a bit as I heard JongHyun-sshi do the same on the other side of the line.

Believe it or not, when i got home after my rehearsal, my phone rang as if it's on cue. It was in reality, JongHyun-sshi calling me. At first, I wondered why. But the moment I answered, I heard the cheery tone of a happy JongHyun-sshi saying "Selene-ssssshhhhhiiii!" and I knew that he just wanted to have a chat.

"Haha. Yep. A promise is a promise. We promised each other we'd talk constantly, right?" He said on the line, and I smirked before shaking my head. Seriously, this guy.

"Where are you anyway? I'm surfing the net for podcasts. You told me last time that you'd be a guest in SuKiRa by yourself. Is that what you're gonna do now?" I asked him a flurry of rushed questions, to which I got a laugh as an answer.

"Whoah, easy. Don't ask too much. Right now, I'm on my way to the studio because yes, I'm going to be guesting in SuKira. I'll be accompanying TaeMin and Key as they do the hosting. So yeah, I'm a guest for now. Teukie Hyung and Hyukkie Hyung still aren't able to go host the show." He told me, and with a nod, I said a soft "Okay".

"SuKiRa is viewable radio, so I guess you'll see our antics in the studio." He told me, and I chuckled.

"Yeah. For all I know, I'm going to see you play 'janken' on air." I said before chuckling a bit more. Rock-paper-scissors. seriously.

"Why not? But seriously though, watch us, okay? I'll be waving at the camera for you there. Arasso?" He asked me, and I replied a cheery "Sure".

"Well, I'm near the studio already. I just got down from the van and I'm walking towards the door. I'll be cutting our talk for a bit. Talk to you later!" JongHyun-sshi said and I understood, bidding goodbye as well before ending the call.

"Seriously, JongHyun-sshi." I murmured as I placed my phone down on the sofa and opened the cover of my laptop, exposing the pages of podcasts I was looking at before JongHyun-sshi suddenly called me. I'm at home now, by the way.

I quickly opened the podcast channel of SuKiRa and smiled to myself as I saw the program starting on air. As the first song played, I saw JongHyun-sshi, TaeMin-ah, and Key-ah on the screen, and somewhere along the way, the camera zoomed in on JongHyun-sshi waving.

He took what he said seriously.

"Aigoo.. Chinja, Kim JongHyun-sshi...." I said in a joking manner before letting out a few chuckles. I shook my head in amazement at his actions.

What would the viewers and listeners think of this, JongHyun-sshi? They might think that you're waving to SeKyung-sshi or something!

Aigoo, that guy, Kim JongHyun-sshi....

You never really know what's going on in his head.
